Called Brandon in service, and told him I needed brakes. He orders new front and rear brakes from Lexus, and I came in. After about an hour, he let me know the brakes were fine, and that the squeaking I heard was due to some debris caught up and a shim kit. Long story short, I came in stating I needed new brakes, and was ready to pay, and they said I didn't need it. This is the type of service and honesty that makes someone a lifetime customer. Sales guy Pedro De la Cruse did not disclose to me about a deposit requirement to hold a vehicle for 48 hour for pick up until after they ran my credit and approved me for the vehicle sale. Deposit requirement was not posted on their website or disclosed by text. Manager Kyle Maxwell refused to correct their mistake and insisted that I had to pay deposit to hold the vehicle for less than 48 hours of $1,000. I decided to back out of purchasing this vehicle as this made me uncomfortable. read more

I have been a loyal customer since 2019. Never questioned or had an issue with service on my Toyota Tacoma. Went recently for an oil change and tire rotation. When I left the sensor light was on my dash. It took 2 1/2 hrs for that service, and I was late to pick up grands from school. Went back a couple days later and they said my tire sensor was probably bad. Funny, they worked just fine before they rotated tires. 160.00 to take it back and see what the problem was...so what will it cost to replace them? Depends...could be up to 1400.00. I said nope! Went to Discount tire. 300.00 later with Toyota replacement parts and less than an hour it was fixed! All 4 sensors...Just sayin...do your homework. They work on commission! I have never questioned them felt I was getting great service but now I'm not sure I wasn't paying more than I should have all along. Very disappointing and will not be going back to this location. I did speak with higher management and they were very kind and understanding but now it's a question am I getting ripped off because I'm a woman or is this common business practice? Bought an As Is Subaru that was " thoroughly inspected". I expressed concerns about a few issues and was completely LIED to. I was ASSURED over and over that nothing was wrong with the vehicle. It lasted 9 days. I had the car properly inspected by a Subaru specialist who found severe problems, some of which are the ones I had concerns about. The repairs are costing me around 4k and Landers couldn't care less. They don't care about their customers and the place is filled with liars. Look out for Ricky Plack he's a greasy one, but I guess you can get away with being bad at your job when your family runs the joint. I put a $1,000 deposit on a used vehicle that had been for sale for over two months. While awaiting the paperwork to be delivered via FedEx, I decided to not purchase this vehicle. I requested a refund and it was denied. Landers sold the same care within two days. I requested a refund again, since they were made whole and not negatively affected by my decision, and they still refused even a partial refund, which I had proposed. They made an extra $1,000 off of my deposit and sold the car. To me this felt like an unreasonable action by Landers NWA and a hard line by Manager Sean Chase. Buyers beware. read more

I searched for the RAV4 I wanted on Toyota.com, I submitted a request to Landers Toyota on Christmas Eve (Tuesday) via their website, I received an immediate reply (automated?). On Christmas Day (Wednesday) I received another email and replied. On Thursday morning, Jaylen contacted me and answered all of my questions. I then placed a deposit on the RAV4, completed the paperwork online, and booked a flight from Southwest Florida to Rogers for Friday. I made an appointment to see why my maintenance required alert was on and the service guy said it was because I needed my oil changed and tires rotated, which I later discovered wasn't true. When I got home my radio was messed up and my phone didnt work through Bluetooth and the maintenqnce required was still on. Very disappointed in the service I received. I am buying a new vehicle for the first time in 19 years! After doing my research, gathering information, and seeking vehicles I like, I made a plan to visit dealerships in the region in hopes of securing the best deal. Which is what we all do! Try to find the best deal, right? This is something we (you and I) should be able to do with dignity and grace. But not at Landers Toyota NWA. I stopped by Landers on Friday, September 22. While I recognize that this dealership may be having a great year and sales are high- that is no reason to be jerks and treat customers the way I was treated on Friday. During a test drive, the salesperson was on their phone and it was silent! No small talk. I would ask a question, get an answer and that was it. I know we're not becoming friends- but it was uncomfortable. I was nervous about the process and was getting nothing from the human working with me. Then we sit down and it did not get much better. Like I was the problem- when in fact it is your customer care. As I was taking down notes- which included that there was no way, no how there would be a sale under sticker price, your salesperson got up and walked away. Didn't thank me, offer me a card, nor did this person bother to get my information. Not my cell, not my email, nothing. Just go up and walked away. I was in a bit of shock. Again, if you are doing great- fine! But you don't have to treat people with such disrespect. This post-pandemic sales era won't last forever. But the way I felt after leaving Landers will. And not only would I never return, but I will, as everyone does, share this experience with anyone who asks. I hit up Jim Norton in Tulsa the next day and I have a deposit down on a truck- mainly because they were kind and let the process that we all understand happens at a dealership happen with respect. read more

My experience with this dealership was disappointing at best. Landers felt similar to purchasing a car at a tote-the-note kind of place rather than a leading Toyota dealership. My family are big Toyota people and we've bought many, many Toyotas but this was my first at this dealership. I purchased a 2025 Camry online and requested it be delivered and although I started the purchase process when the dealership opened they waited until almost closing to notify their delivery company even though it was understood I expected it delivered that day. It wasn't delivered until the next day and caused some scheduling conflicts. I'm a reasonable guy and normally this would have been fine but I had some family events scheduled and we had planned around the delivery of this new car. When they failed to meet the delivery date it was even suggested I just pay $150 for an Uber and come get it. That's when I should have ended things! I feel Landers did a sales trick telling me what I wanted to hear knowing the car wouldn't be delivered on time and still charged me a $390 delivery fee to help me get the car closer to my home. The photos of my particular car on their website showed all weather mats and I even asked to make sure that's what would be in the car but on delivery it had the regular mats. Another sales trick! I had to pay additional cost online for the mats I feel I should have received. Overall, this dealership just wasn't hungry for the sale or willing to create a lifelong customer which really wouldn't have taken much extra. After I handed over the check that was it, no follow-up. Other Toyota dealerships I've purchased from always checked back with me to make sure everything was good and assist with any questions as a courtesy. I think this would be especially appreciated in online purchases. I was left feeling like I chose the wrong dealership and should have chosen the Jim Norton Toyota dealership in OKC who was willing to deliver a car for free and was willing to assist me with the setup of the multi-media but Landers had a different color I liked and I went with them. My fault! I probably should have chosen another color and went with the dealership who was more willing to earn my business and ensure a more positive experience. Maybe, if it wasn't an online purchase they would have done better but they definitely don't do online sales very well. I was even treated suspiciously until I sent them a picture of my check made out to them which I would have appreciated if it was about identity protection but I suspect it was more about $$$ and not knowing if I was legit or not. I suspect I'll never hear from Landers again and they'll never hear from me again and I'm confident I'll be choosing the Jim Norton Toyota dealership in OKC next time. A company that doesn't care what you think after they've got your money isn't a company I'd like to do business with. read more

Matthew was my service advisor and very professional during my visit. Upon finishing my oil change, Matthew let me know that the inspection result was "OK" or green for every inspection item. However this was to my surprise as the inspection during my previous service (5,000 miles ago), found that my brake pads "WILL REQUIRE FURTHER ATTENTION" or yellow with the technicians measurements of LF: 6mm, RF: 6mm, LR: 5mm, RR: 5mm. I brought this to Matthews attention and he mentioned he would talk to his manager and provide a complementary brake service during my next appointment. I left not feeling completely confident my brake pads were being properly measured during the inspection as the technicians measurements this time were LF: 10mm, RF: 10mm, LR: 8mm, RR 8mm. read more

We purchased a 2021 Acura from out of state and it was delivered to us. There were several things that were not disclosed before the sale. I asked the salesman Gil to let me know about every dent, ding, scratch, etc. inside and outside of the vehicle. He said there was only one dent by the license plate and sent me that picture. I noticed a scratch on the front bumper in the online picture in which I questioned, he then sent me a picture of that scratch and said it had been touched up. However, upon delivery and further inspection there were at least 5 other dents and scratches that were not disclosed, one being scratches down the right side of the car as if the car was side swiped. Also a worn gear shift knob, busted under body fender and NO spare tire, tire changing tools or lug nut key. I feel that I was deceived with this purchase and Gil just wanted to make a sale instead of being truthful. Buyer Beware if purchasing from out of state. read more

my prius dashboard lights came on. ANS and Brakelight. I call the they gave me an option of getting a call back. That never happened. I called again and got a person who said they would look at it. I pulled into the service bay. A guy gave me a ticket and I ask where to go and all he said was through those doors. I walked in and sat down. after all most an hour I asked if they were going to call my number. They desk guy said no that's not what they do. He took my ticket with the number and said he would be right with me so i sat right behind his desk. Twenty minutes later I went back to his desk and he looked surprised picked up the ticket and asked if I had an appointment. I explained my situation and he said it would be several hours before they could get to me. They should have asked me that first. Then I said I couldn't do that and he said they would bring me my car. I walked out to the service bay and my car was sitting out in the parking lot with the flashers on the windows open and my keys on the dash. Anyone could have driven away in it. I just left. Piss Poor customer service. No communication. I will never go back. read more
