Pastries are excellent, coffee pretty great and the bread is divine. Close to downtown, easy access from tourist/port.

This particular location, is the newest addition to the chain, owned and operated by one of the Ramirez Bedolla Family. Guillermo Ramirez Bedolla has many years of experience as a master baker. You can tell that they take great pride in their work. There are several parking spaces directly in front of the bakery for easy access. I was warmly welcomed as I entered and enjoyed the smell of fresh baked breads! Bedolla is known for their traditional Mexican pandulce and specialty breads, all of which are artisan and made by hand. You can find the traditional conchas, as well as amazingly crafted ones decorated like ears of corn or alligators, etc. The ears of corn would be great as part of an edible table centerpiece! My favorite was amazing sweet croissant with almonds! By popular demand, Bedolla has a variety of donuts in an array of flavors and colors, but also offer more "serious" specialty breads and whole grain or multi-grain loaves. Bedolla also offers freshly ground and brewed coffee which was delicious. I was privileged to be given the grand tour behind the scenes in the kitchen. I was impressed with how well organized and clean everything is! If you live in Ensenada, or just visiting, I highly recommend you check out Bedolla Bakery.

They have a few tables inside and outside, plus it's on a walking only street so it's chill and calm. When ordering a local told me everything is good here and the place was filled, which is always a good sign when trying a new place. Staff was friendly and prices were great. My friend and I tried a few baked goods - some cookies and a brownie and we loved it all. The brownies reminded me of ones my mom used to make with powdered sugar on top. It's an adorable little coffee and pastry shop with outdoor seating, and next door is a Thrifty's ice cream shop (closed when we went by). There are fresh flower bouquets for sale out front. Inside, there is a beautiful selection of cakes, pastries, and fresh breads, as well as coffees, sandwiches and breakfast entrees. There are a few tables inside, and would make a great place to dine with friends or do some work. I picked up some pastries and they were all great, and the Iced Coco Mate Latte was creamy and delicious and not too sweet. Staff was friendly, and I got by with my mediocre high school Spanish. Apple Pay accepted here.

The churros were very hot and fresh. $3 a churro seems a tad steep, but they were worth it. They are pretty good size. It did take about 10+ mins for the churros to be ready. They were worth the wait. The girl behind the register was friendly and informed us what all the fillings were since they were in Spanish. That was much appreciated. There is plenty of indoor seating. I almost got a coffee too as those looked really good. We will absolutely be back next time we're in Ensenada.

It is conveniently located up the street from the Cruise ports to the left side. The only draw back was I wanted my drink cold, they made it hot, and it came out to $13 (for two churros and two small coffees). I gave a $20 and they said they didn't have dollars for change. I even tried to ask if they can throw in another filled churro and they said they can't do it. They do accept Apple Pay and credit cards but it's been a year since I came here, not sure if I did that last time. I already was holding up the line so I just said I would take pesos for change. Next time I am here, I will bring smaller bills as they don't have change. Otherwise, the Chocolate Mexican coffee was delicious and the churro was also, lots of seating, and one of the spots to visit!
