Wifey and I stopped by for an afternoon lunch and beer while on our house hunting trip to Tuscany. We were greeted by the owner Marco who was very nice and accommodating. He helped us with sushi selection and recommended a very tasty beer to accompany lunch. Both were amazing - sushi was melt in your mouth and we very much enjoyed the conversation with Marco about the restaurant, which opened July, 2016. We will be back with our brown Labrador Sunshine in tow - with a move in date of July I think we found a new favorite afternoon and evening dining spot !!

As we walked in the owner stated they did not have "space." We were the only customers there at 7. It appears he did not want to serve guests based on racial appearance, or possibly guests with children. When confronted about why he wouldn't seat us, in Japanese, he became uncomfortable and gave us a business card. No business should treat customers this way in 2024.

The chef, a true Japanese in love with Florence, is in the open kitchen, showing his art to everyone, making delicious specialties like the frittata and marinated anchovies. Many menu choices of sushi, sashimi, cut and hand rolls, ramen and such. Good beer and wine menu too. They have a €12 lunch special but we opted for the ala cart choices. Every thing was fresh and very tasty -- sashimi assorted was only €9 euro for about 12 pieces, gyoza was great as was the pork ramen our son ordered. For rolls we had one spicy salmon and one spicy Cali roll. Service and ambience was good, prices very reasonable.
