If you are trying to find a solution to your problem health wise.. The Atlanta Center For Holistic& Integrative Medicine is the place to go. Dr. Zach and Dr. Gedalia along with Dr. Taz and all the team have really given me my health back. After suffering with skin inflammation end of last year. I went to a Dermatologist and their solutions were creams and antibiotics that I would need to take twice a day for a month. I refused to take them and asked the Dr. "What is the cause or the root" of the problem? The Dr. couldn't give me an answer. Well they gave me an answer more pills and come back in a month. No thanks. I am in my mid 40's and thought I need to find out what this is. I heard about Dr Taz and the center through reading Dr Weil's website and found them. I decided for my birthday this year it would be my health and getting on track. I figured if I can find out how to heal my body with eating right and using the correct supplements I know they can help me. The center is a place where I feel comfortable that I can ask anything. I have done all that Dr. Zach has asked and have learned a lot in the past 6 months. My inflammation is gone and when I have "flare ups" I know what it is. Learning how to manage stress and eat properly, along with getting my gut back in balance has really changed my life. I had not idea that my Thyroid was slow and the supplement after taking it for 3 months has really improved. I met with them for the first time last week (. When I first went in to the facility, I was impressed. But my experience went downhill from there. Many people in the waiting room. However, I was brought back into an exam room right away, told that this is how they handle new patients. Then I was there for 4 hours. After 2.5 hours, the doctor sent in her PA to start the interview. Turns out all those forms I filled out in advance weren't used. Eventually, the doctor came in, read what the PA had recorded, spent about 20 minutes with me. She said she would write up a recommended treatment plan. Before I could leave, someone showed up with at least 10 vials to draw blood for all kinds of tests -- I did not understand what she was doing. This person said not to worry since LabCorps is in the medicare program so therefore all tests would be covered by insurance. However, it was obvious they knew nothing about how insurance works. Insurance plans make decisions on which tests they will cover as well as which lab. Further, earlier they had tried to make me sign that they could charge any unpaid balances on my credit card. I refused to do this. How absurd -- like handing over my credit card for them to spend as they wish. Results of visit: --Charged me $275 for less than a half hour of the doctor's time. Website says $275/hour --Nothing of value to me --No treatment plan --Drew enough blood before I could stop them to send it in to a specialty lab for an $825 test that is, I am sure, is not insurance covered and which will likely show up as a balance on my account with them. Now I know why they wanted me to sign an auto charge to my credit card. --Based on never receiving a treatment plan, I wonder if I will even receive results of this test. --4 hours of time wasted with absolutely nothing to show for it except money spent and potential liability for test. read more

I started coming to the practice when I was pregnant with my first son about 4-years ago. Since then, I've seen Dr. Taz and Kristin and now both of my sons have seen Stephanie Finn as well! All three of them are amazing and have so much passion to help people. We have received thorough care and spent countless hours with the providers on everything from food allergies for both of our boys to help with severe reflux and colic (without having to use harsh reflux meds when they were first born). Interesting that after I had my first son with severe colic, I worked on my own gut health before getting pregnant again, and my second son had some signs of colic but not NEARLY as severe as my first. Dr. Taz also diagnosed and has managed hypothyroidism for me, which other Atlanta doctors missed. She's worked with me on healing my adrenals and keeping my hormones balanced. I can't say enough about how well these providers listen and are willing to switch things up or research why something isn't working when needed. I could not have made it through two colicky babies without these women and am grateful for the alternative options they offer up before reaching for meds as the first option. I've also done acupuncture with Allison and it relieved morning sickness so much with my second. She's gentle and compassionate and that's coming from someone with needle-phobia! i was happy to read the article about sugar. Based on the ALCAT food sensitivity test i quit eating cane sugar about 18 months ago and it made a huge difference in my health! My mood is improved, i find that i just cope better. I have more energy. My hot flashes went away. My allergies are majorly improved! I didn't feel well for years, but i had no way of knowing that it was food related or which foods were bothering me. Now, when i do eat sugar in particular, i feel so rotton that it isn't worth it. I realize now that it was really stressing my body. Sugar is related to candida in the body. No more yeast infections. I used to have bladder and urinary tract irritation which is gone now. I could go on and on. I just cannot tell you how much better i feel. It's not really difficult to quit eating sugar when you feel so much better. Rarely do I leave any type of feedback unless it's positive.  This is an exception.  Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Dr. Taz.  My virtual apppointment was at 7:30am.  After waiting almost an hour and a half, our "visit" began.  Looking back, I felt completely rushed.  She doesn't offer any suggestions during your visit.  She listens to your symptoms and then tells you that she will email a report with recommendations. How genius (time is money).  They charge you extra if you send over any results from previous testing to "read them", but it was obvious that she didn't review them prior to our call as I kept having to tell her things and then she would scan her computer to locate.  The report is very difficult to decipher in that it is a homemade "template" that is next to impossible to understand.  It included errors and omissions and after receiving this report, I knew that I made a mistake in coming here.  One visit was enough for me. read more

I was very disappointed and frustrated with my last visit. After fighting through traffic for 1 hour to make my appointment @ 4:30, (arrived at 4:13pm) to be informed my appointment with Christina was cancelled and I can come back tomorrow, the reason given was "you did not confirmed you appointment" keep in mind the only thing they advise you about when you make your appointment is their "48hrs cancellation policy". After I explained I lived an hour away and cannot come back the following day, I was told they would get me in to see Rosie. I was escorted to the third floor and vital were taken and was left in the room for 40 mins at which time I decided to check with someone to see when Rosie would be available I was told it could be a while before she would be available. At this point I it was 1 1/2 hrs after my schedule appointment time and I was cold and tired of waiting so I left without being attended to. Truly Disappointed. read more

This week I had my fourth visit with Dr Grossman. What a relief it was to be met by her calm demeanor and excellent listening skills! My fears of going to doctors who don't listen and prescribe a short term fix are over. The first appointment I left crying with relief! Over the last four years I had several strange symptoms, hair loss, several rashes, fatigue, head aches, gut pain, constipation, mood swings, weight gain, brain fog. I had adjusted eating habits, sleep patterns, stress, on my own and still didn't feel like my cheery, energetic self. Dr Grossman has gotten me on a plan for controlling gut imbalances, and methylation (how your body changes food to energy) It takes time to see the results like any new habit and reevaluating as we go keeps me on track. CentreSpring MD is the first place that has really listened to my health concerns and come up with a plan of action to tackle them. They never tell you that you're crazy, or that you're making your symptoms up. Christina Grace is fantastic and truly listens and never makes me feel rushed. She checks in with me on occasion to see how I'm doing with my plan, and makes adjustments as needed. Not only are the providers compassionate and knowledgeable, but the entire office staff is so warm and welcoming! Everyone always has a smile on their face and you truly feel that customer service is valued here! I had my first visit with Dr. Taz last week. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Dr. Taz spent more time asking questions and discussing with me my medical history and concerns than any other doctor I've ever seen...and did so in a very down-to-earth compassionate manner. While we are awaiting lab results to determine specific steps, she provided me with several initial recommendations so I can begin working to improve my health. Dr. Bahtia is exactly the kind of doctor I was looking for to help with some allergy problems I've been having. After trying several doctors, being misdiagnosed, taking medication after medication and feeling like they weren't listening to me, I decided to take a different approach. Dr.Bhatia, unlike most holistic medicine doctors actually has an MD. She spent an hour or more with me and designed a plan thatcaters to my body and my lifestlyle. The staff is helpful and courteous. Dr Zach is quiet, to the point and thorough. He is very knowledgeable and has suggested several supplements as treatment. He will take time to patiently answer any questions. He also responds quickly to email questions. It is initially expensive since many labs were run and my insurance will not cover their office visits. But I have been able to improve somewhat without using prescription drugs which I was trying to avoid. Also, the many labs ruled out several possible causes of my symptoms. The practitioners actually take time to sit down with you as the patient to listen and find out what's happening in your body. My initial appointment/consult was great! I met with Christina Grace and she actively listened the whole time and developed a treatment plan based on my personal needs. As a result, 3 weeks later, I already have begun to feel better. You get the best of both worlds here, with prescription medication if needed, but also herbal and other remedies just as supported, a beautiful blend of Western and Eastern medicines. My baby, who is now 10 months old, has battled terrible eczema, food allergies and recurrent ear infections staring at 2.5 months old. I cannot say enough good things about Kristen Corbin Oja and CentreSpring MD. For the first time ever, I feel like I am being cared for and heard. I am not crazy! Friendly and helpful staff and recommendations upon initial visit seem reasonable. Tests can be pricey so be prepared for insurance to not cover most functional medicine tests. They are needed for a full assessment though so are a worthwhile investment. Looking forward to the follow up recommendations once test results come back.
