Really really great! We called ahead to check whether Holi would be open on Christmas Eve and they were happy to accommodate our group of 11. Throughout our entire dinner, our waiter, Vijay, was incredibly attentive and helpful. He was quick to refill drinks and took our order very efficiently. We totally enjoyed all 3 of our lunches. I had the lamb seekh kabob and the others had chicken tikka. I also had the cheesecake with mango sauce. My husband tried the masala chassa drink, which is a savory drink that I did not like at all, but my husband thought it was ok. My husband and I stumbled upon this place during our visit to Panama City beach. He was craving some Indian food after all the fried shrimps we had been eating. This place was close enough to the beach area for a nice 10min drive from our hotel. Parking g was a breeze, it was free. We liked the ambience. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We got the most basic stuff in the menu and to be extremely honest it was very subpar. To be fair we have quite high standards of Indian food in terms of our expectations but the food did not deliver. The sheekh kebab was the best thing we had ordered. It was flavorful and well presented. The biryani and indo-Chinese was a whole different story. The biryani was overly spicy and the flavors just did not work for us. The Hakka noodles were better than the biryani but still disappointing. It was brown in colour. Overall, I wish the food was better. Although I do realize it is tough to find a good Indian restaurant in this area, hence, will give it to them for trying so hard. read more

Came out last night bc we had a craving for Indian. It's about 30 minutes from PCB but we'll worth it. The decor is classy and they have a very nice outdoor patio. We did ask to sit outside but she said they were a little short staffed and couldn't add more tables out there so we went for dining room. Waitress brought out snacks and chutneys that were very good. We ordered drinks and apps. The bar must have gotten a little busy bc drinks didn't come till entrees but they were good and strong. Samosa app was hot all the way thru (sometimes a problem at other places) and lightly golden brown. Entrees we're pretty good sized. Now...I love spicy food and my Indian food should make me cry a little. They have a scale 1-5 and Indian hot. I ordered 4. Holi moly I think I need to go to a 3 next time. Maybe a 2 haha read more

We have tried Holi a few times before but we recently visited their new location for dinner. The place is really nice from the inside. I really liked the ambiance as you can see in the photos. Service is good too. We were seated right away. I tried their margarita drink from the menu, which was different and delicious. We ordered aloo chaat for appetizer and then for entree, we tried their chicken Briyani, Holi special naan, Kadai chicken and some paneer dish. I didn't care for the kadai chicken. It was nothing special but everything else was good. Overall I like this new location a lot better than the last one, and they have done a good job with updating their menu as well! read more

Calling all tourists: Skip the long wait times and overpriced food in PCB and head to this gem! Only a 14-minute drive from the beaches to this incredible restaurant. Everything we had was delicious; full of flavor and just the right amount of heat. We sampled around the menu, starting with Bhel for an appetizer, and with their Holi Special Naan (both incredible, and plenty for the three of us). And the Amchi Mumbai Mule was so refreshing. Our main dishes were excellent; Methi Malai, Lasooni Curry with shrimp, and Tandoori shrimp (came with 9 shrimp!). We saved room for dessert--we split the mango Kulfi and the pistachio Kulfi. I was pleasantly surprised to find such good Indian food in Panama city. The restaurant has a cozy and well-decorated atmosphere, and it was busy but still quiet enough to enjoy. Coming from New Jersey, which has very many Indian restaurants, I always test an Indian place by trying their Samosas and Garlic Naan. These Samosas were perfectly spiced, and the Garlic Mozzarella Naan was so good I couldn't stop eating it, I wish I had ordered more of that naan to take home. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala with a spice level of 3/5. I love that they use a number system for the spice level--it makes it easy to get exactly what you want. The sauce was rich, and the chicken was super tender. For dessert, I had Gulab Jamun, which was delicious, even though it came out piping hot and I dug in too fast and burned myself. Very rich, moist, and sweet, a great way to end the dinner. The food came out surprisingly fast for how busy it was, especially on a Saturday night. Our waitress was on point. She knew the menu inside and out, answered all questions with confidence, and made sure everything was perfect. Overall, this is a great spot for Indian food, and it's nice that they serve alcohol too. I'll definitely be back! read more

We absolutely love the food here! It's always super flavorful, portions are large, and I could honestly live off their Nan Bread. The new building is also a massive upgrade and much needed for the overall vibe of the restaurant. If it were just up to these two things, it would be a slam dunk 10/10... Downsides are that service has been sub-par with waiting 20+ minutes with not even a water refill. The recent time we went, I didn't even see our server taking care of other tables, and even if she was, the amount of time was inexcusable. When you ask for things, you get an eye roll and another 5 minute wait. Even on nights where the restaurant is very empty, we wait 45 minutes to an hour for food. The food is so dang good that we are going to keep going... but would love to see an upgrade in service and food to not take an unreasonable amount of time. 3.5/5 read more

First time trying this place. Ambiance is nice. Start you off with Papads and Chutney. Mint chutney flavor was pretty good. We got the Madras Curry with fish it has a coconut base sauce. Fish was suggested as the traditional way and was a good pairing. We also got the Chicken Kofta curry. Kind of a meat kofta version of a malai kofta curry, with the cashew curry sauce. These two curries were both very good flavor and kind of a similar pallet. I think next time I would try the dhaba curry to add some garlic ginger constrast. We also try yellow dhaal maligatwany soup and Samosa Chaat to start. . Althought I wrote this a little backwerds. Hah! Samosa chaat was topped with pomegranate seeds. pretty good. The Naan here I will have to say is excellent !! Best Naan in a very long time and im craving more of it. We want to come back and try more things next vacation :)) read more

Decent Indian food, but the restaurant Destin is much better. My chicken was good, the naan was thin and crispy, but saag paneer was overdone and did not taste good at all. Also in Destin they serve rice chips with chutney as an appetizer, but in this place they didn't. Staff is also polite but not friendly which adds to the experience. Well, who knows may be we caught them on a bad day.., I would still recommend this place if you don't want to drive for an hour to a better one. read more

Holi moli I love this food. I've enjoyed the food truck multiple times in Navarre at St Michaels brewery and in Niceville at Third Planet- I've never been to the restaurant ... until today. A trip to Panama City allowed for a stop- called ahead because we had the doggo, and they confirmed outdoor, pet friendly seating. Thankfully the weather held, and the outdoor space gave great scenery encouraging a desire to come again in the evening when they have the torches lit and the tree lights on. The food was more pricy than expected but well worth the penny. Our waitress knew how to recommend the spice because my already "spicy" Vindaloo with a level one added perfect heat. First time in their new location after several visits to their previous one. What a treat! Easy parking, nice ambiance, friendly staff... and GREAT food. Started with the rice "tubes" and two chutneys, then samosas (very good). Wife had butter chicken that she raved about, and I had the Tandoori Salmon. That's what I'll focus on here. Very friendly waitress suggested the Tandoori Salmon from my option list of Tandoori Shrimp, Salmon, or Whole Fish. She said the salmon was her favorite. Boy, was she right! Big chunks of perfectly seared and slightly charred salmon - so fresh I think one chunk was still trying to swim - were served with onions, cabbage, rice, and smears of sauces. The yellowish one was mustard based, and is definitely the one to bring out the perfect balance of flavors with the salmon. The waitress brought me an extra dish of the mustard sauce, which was appreciated. I could go on and on about this salmon, but suffice it to say that it was one of the tastiest salmon dishes I've ever eaten, including those from expensive seafood restaurants. Iced tea and excellent garlic naan rounded out my "wow" meal. And here's the kicker... our dinner for two was very reasonably priced! An excellent experience from start to finish. My wife and I loved it, and we'll be back again very soon. read more
