Got take out of their sesame chicken. Was orange in color like a sweet n sour and tasted like it too. They did sprinkle some sesame seeds on top. Had about 5 pieces of broccoli in it. We ordered for delivery. All of our food arrived as ordered so no complaints there. I ordered the beef chow mein. Honestly it lacked any flavor at all. It had no salt, ginger, or garlic, which are typically basic spices for oriental food. There was a good amount of meat but very few vegetables. It was loaded with cabbage but only had one snow pea, a couple sliced carrots, and that was it. I was expecting a good portion of vegetables but was very disappointed. It also came with those thick wonton crispy noodles which were too big and hard to chew. I'm used to getting small, thin crispy noodles. I couldn't eat any of them so I made a side of rice myself. I do want to give much credit to the delicious egg drop wonton soup. That was truly delicious. Very eggy with several stuffed wontons. I will definitely order that again. Well, there was a lot in the box..But it tasted like the box..NO seasoning, no vegetables..And I was the only one there.. Bland at the very best.. The Spring roll's are about a 1/2 in diameter, about the size of a nickel, and 2.5 inches long and they charged $1 each.. What they call 3 rolls, I would call about .25 cents in food, for $3.. Some where else to eat would be a really good idea.. We won't be going back.. read more

I ordered a large $9.95 boneless spare rib and i received something that most places consider a small or lunch portion. $9.95 for a lunch portion is outrageous. Then to make matters worse, i ordered 2 orders, that's 6 spring rolls for $5.90 and i get 5 soggy cold spring rolls. Hot on the outside, cold and soggy on the inside. This is sad. I always ordered food from this restaurant through GrubHub and enjoyed doing so until last night (May 1, 2019). What happened was that I decided to take my brother to the restaurant located on Thomas Drive for a night out. We arrived there at about 8:55pm and the sign on the door says that the restaurant closes at 10:00pm. So, we go in and we saw three employees behind the counter and that the restaurant had no other persons dining. One of the employees immediately asked us "Do you want food to go?". So we figured this is a normal question and told her no and that we are dining in. To our surprise, she says "well, you only have half hour to eat because we have to close". We were a bit confused so we pointed out that the time on the door says that the restaurant closes at 10:00pm. She now says "yes, we have to clean so you have 35 minutes to eat because we have to clean." First of all, two people dining in wouldn't have given you much clean up to do. And, that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in all my life having eaten at different restaurants around the world. I think that the interaction was rude, ridiculous and of poor service on the part of Jin Jin II. We are never buying from here again and we are certainly not going back!! read more

After our helpful server answered my question regarding possible use of chicken broth (no) in my off-menu order of vegetable mei fun and took our orders, she immediately returned to our table to ask me if I wanted egg that is included in my dish (no). I really appreciated that she was knowledgeable and cared enough to ask! My dish soon arrived piping hot and nicely seasoned, with crispy, fresh vegetables, a minimum of oil, and the delightful aroma of a high heat stir-fry. It was so tasty. Needless to say, I was one happy vegan! It is not easy to find delicious, low oil, plant-based dishes in PCB, especially when dining with omnivores. Also, Chinese food is so often heavy with oil. Jin Jin II is just what you would expect from a mid level "American" Chinese restaurant . It is clean, quick and fairly priced. It also has a very friendly staff. You can eat in but space is somewhat limited so take out was my preference. This isn't San Francisco or New York so don't expect the most flavorful dishes. She motioned to us to take a seat and I watched her pick up menus and napkin wrapped cutlery and bring them to our table without washing her hands. Dropped in spontaneously Friday night. We had a great dinner. We ordered there and took it home. They were quick and the food was great. I had the Kung pao dinner special. I only ate half the portions were substantial. Dinner specials are $7.99. It came with egg roll and soup. The restaurant is small but very clean and modern. The staff was friendly.
