This hotel needs to change to Holiday Inn Express so people will know what to expect. Website this hotel is 3 stars but this hotel only deserved 2.5 only. I travel and stay at hotel at least 1 week per month. This one really disappointed me. The bad; 1) Fixtures and faucet cheap quality 2) Water pressure is horrible is like using your kitchen water and barely any hot water even if you turn it all the way. 3) Trash bag you have to tie it yourself because the maid just leave a bag hanging for you to do it. Checked in early evening 10/17/23. As soon as we walked in, John at front desk was all smiles. John is a great choice for Front Desk Operations. He is personable, courteous, friendly, thoroughly knowledgeable about his his job and surrounding areas. He was able to solve all of my questions asked of him. Rooms never get cleaned, and when they finally do after asking 3 separate workers over a weeks time, the cleaning people steal your change. Weird, but whatever. Very very rude front desk workers . The women put me in a room. Went up to my room to shower , was walked in on by a husband and wife . Went back to the front desk to tell them the issue . The women that put me in the room then said I went to the wrong room (how the key would work for the wrong room I have no idea) wouldn't allow me to get a word in . Once I finally spoke and was able to tell her I was in on , her whole tone changed . Manager came out and was very nice and addressed the situation . I was not suppose to be charged for that night . 2 weeks later my card is still showing I was charged for that night , I called today to speak to the manager and the same women that put me in the room answered . She was extremely rude , wouldn't direct me to the manager and then sent me to the assistant managers voicemail . I will never be returning! read more

Need a Manager? What manager!? That person of title does not exists at that hotel, so good luck trying to get whatever ordeal (like ours) get resolved. We were supposed to stay at the hotel from Monday (7/08) to the following Monday (7/15). Our stay from Monday thru Sunday afternoon was good. We arrived on Monday and stayed in a room that a AC and fridge was not working. Front desk worker, Logan had given us a different room and it was a good turn around. Throughout the week stay, we noticed the left elevator was being worked on but the elevator that did worked seemed like it needed to be fixed as well (as you entered into the elevator, pressed your desired level, the elevator would jerk for a bit, stop and then close it's doors to finally move to your requested floor. Complimentary Breakfast was nice. The service there was great actually. Hot meals and service was good. I have no complaints with them at all. On Sunday (7/14) is where it had gone from good to complete f***kery. In the afternoon the elevator that was being worked on was in service. However, we were on the second floor wanting to go to the lobby. Pressed the lobby floor, doors closed, elevator jerked, and when the doors opened, we were still on the same floor. We got out quick! Took the stairs, thinking if we tried anymore attempts, it might turn into a Final Destination movie. We told front desk the issue as we left for the afternoon and upon returning a couple hours later, we see a gentleman at the front desk complain of how he was stuck in that very same elevator for an hour! Glad he was ok in the end, but kinda wished they had fixed it thoroughly before opening it up to the masses. That night, we're on the second floor room and my 3 kids and husband were asleep at 11pm. I decided to try and order food through post mates since I've done so before during the week. While I'm ordering, I'm hearing a bunch of running outside. At first, I'm thinking that there's a bunch of teenagers due to some basketball conference happening and it's Sunday... I thought it was gonna go away. Then the running kept happening but now there's yelling and screaming happening. Super loud conversations happening right outside my door. I was trying to order my food while this was happening at 11pm... it continued while I'm calling the front desk at around 11:40pm... Front desk at the time said they heard similar complaints and will get a security guard to the floor. For 10 minutes it was silent, then 10 minutes later the loud noise and running starts happening again, but now it's random banging on hotel doors INCLUDING MINE! The banging was so loud that the person didn't just hit our door, but yelled at us while banged at it. It woke up my 10 year old, that had heard panicking and scared my other two kids. Even woke up my husband who was about to go scream at them but instead I told him that we'll just record what was happening since I already called the front desk. The entire ordeal lasted for more than 2 hours! The noise didn't stop until 1:40am! Not only did they continue their sprint marathon on our floor hallway, but they took it up a notch and brought the noise to the upper level(yes, it was that loud that we could hear that $#*%). I didn't get to order my food because I don't want to get involved with what was happening outside. Feeling unsafe in a hotel you're paying for isn't what I expected at all! Having my children feeling scared throughout the night was not what we paid for! In the morning, we packed our things to check out early. Didn't want to go through another day when that crap happened. We tried to get in touch with the manager, but the front desks says, here's his card and call him the next day. What?! Why is there no manager when crap like this happened?! We paid for our night's stay in a hotel not some hallway circus f***kery. Other than the great service by Logan of front desk, breakfast team and the housekeepers (by the way, they did awesome job)...Only reason they're getting stars was for their merit. However, the so called manager in question is a joke. If there was security guard, apparently didn't do his job for the situation to last more than 2 hours. In the end, HQ had told front desk to have their manager give us a call. It's been 5 days, and the manager has yet to call. If your safety and sleep is your upmost concern. I wouldn't recommend this place. If you're wanting great complimentary breakfast and get good service from Logan if front desk, you can try but you're better off taking the stairs up to your floor because you might get stuck in the elevator like that one dude. read more

I have never had a more terrible experience than with this hotel. Some friends and I traveled 3 hours and arrived late last night. When we went to check in the lady was very rude and helped us in no way. She turned us away because none of us are over the age of 21 but the website says you can be 18 to check in. We were stranded late at night and in an unknown area scared that we were about to have to sleep in our cars. The lady proceeded to talk bad about us with her coworkers and made us feel very little. A group of friends and myself as young adults made a reservation online to stay overnight for a sorority event 3 hours from where we live and when we get to the hotel the lady at the front desk informs me that I had to be over 21 to make a reservation even though on the website and on the website I booked the hotel through said that I had to be 18 and older. We came in having a reservation made by a friend from a website, once there they didn't have us on reservation. Luckily the staff was very friendly (even as a manager was teaching 2 new employees) and we were able to get a room for the same price. Very clean, comfy beds, "adjustable firmness" on the beds that I couldn't quite make work meh still comfy bed. Went outside for a cig and there was a group of locals holding a "Marriage Anonymous" meeting, mostly local cops and their wives. They were super friendly and invited me to sit around and take part in the conversation, even though I'm not married lol. I can not ever recommend this hotel to anybody. Avoid it It all costs!! When I checked in, desk clerk was calling maintenance about a guest having ac problems. This was my sign to get out of there!!! I got to my 77 degree room and waited an hour before I had to call about the air conditioning in my room Maintenance shines their flashlights about the room and changes the filter. I was assured problem is solved, give it time. 2 hours later it's now 78 in the room, and I am done giving it time. Call front desk, they blow smoke up my *ss about having maintenance look at it again, and if it can't get resolved, they would find me a new room. Maintenance man #2 says "it be working, let me get a thermometer to prove it, and tells me housekeeping turns the temp up after they clean to conserve energy". Well he never returns and I slept terrible, and was late to my service call, as I overslept. After taking a shower in the morning, I was already feeling sweaty before leaving. I couldn't help but notice how cool the front desk area was as I left. The only way this hotel even got 1 star, is because of housekeeping. now they are some straight up honest people. I left my backpack in the room with my laptop, and medications, and they turned it in, and I got it returned. Housekeeping is the only honest group at this hotel, unlike front desk and maintenance, ironically the most honest ones there are probably the lowest paid there. So if you stay there after reading this, and get treated poorly, and sweat all night in your room, remember I told you so! read more

This is a pretty ok place. Been here a few times. The sleeping rooms are okay. Not great not bad. The beds and pillows are super comfortable, but the rooms feel old and dated. Paint chips in the walls and furniture kind of just there. Doesn't feel like a well planned out room. The venue is large and the staff is super helpful for the venue. The food is pretty good too. Chicken chunks in the Alfredo sauce thats was really like a type of gravy and meaty red sauce for the spaghetti - In fact it was pretty much a hit. The front desk girls lacked a bit of...well, enthusiasm, but everyone in this town seems to be like that. We'll definitely be back because this fits our needs well. This is by far the worst holiday inn I've ever stayed in. I'm a platinum elite member with over 60,000 points. Needless to say, I've experienced a lot of these establishments. I've stayed in better $35 a night hotels than what I experienced here. Hotel breakfast, while the food was ok, the staff was the most rude and unattentive group I've seen. It was almost as if their team strategy was to avoid service. The pool area stayed dirty and without towels for the majority of my 19 day stay. The hotel front desk spent the majority of their time out back smoking and playing on their phone rather than working. Management is non-existent. The hotel common areas other than the lobby were consistently dirty. The 2 elevators were like death traps with their reliability and if you were stuck in there, you'd probably die from a communicable disease. They were never clean, and with the remodeling going on in the building, you'd think they focus a little more on those areas during the off times. Not so much. I was constantly disturbed by maintenance people needing access to my room to test out issues with the floors above. The front desk would call to find out if I was in first... However when I said I was there and would be leaving in 20 minutes, they sent the maintenance folks anyway. That happened on 3 separate occasions. The only pro I have for this place was the cleaning crew was very polite and friendly. They didn't do the greatest with restocking things, but at least they were nice. DON'T STAY HERE! If I could give zero stars I would! FIRST. They are renovating on some of the floors right now. They failed to let us know this information up front. We have been woke up every morning for the last week by the sounds of hammer, drills, and banging on our ceiling. We requested a room change. The obliged and we were moved above the renovation. Now we get to hear it every morning below us! No apology, we were told "it has to happen" SECOND. The internet SUCKS. Not only can you barely find a signal, but when you so it's for minutes at a time. THIRD. This morning I was mid-shower when suddenly the water shut off. I called the desk to inform them and low and behold they have shut it off to repair leaks. They said that they posted signs in the elevator, not thinking that those using said elevator would have already used the shower. So now I'm sitting covered in soap waiting for however long until the water is turned back on. Avoid this mess and so yourself a favor. read more

"Great hospitality, amenities, & breakfast. Rooms = Average" As a Gold club IHG member this was the first time I was greeted with what felt like a above average reception to the hotel as they provided me a free drink and free breakfast coupons for my three children. I read a review about the location being near a truck stop. It is set far behind all of that and honestly is nice and receded it was very quiet and there is no activity all the way down the road where the hotel is. We chose this location because it was closer to the college where my wife needed to go test at in the morning. It felt safe. I personally prefer to stay at hotels where we are not in the city or busy areas so this worked out great. I am not from the area here so there could be better areas, I'm not sure. If you're coming here for leisure I would definitely explore your options. Reception was outstanding. I advise Management to not allow people to smoke right outside the entrance because it's annoying to everyone who doesn't smoke. The rooms: Tip, even numbers will get you a front facing window on the 5th floor. They were average and a bit small in comparison to newer Hilton/IHG 3 star hotels. But the beds were comfortable, the pillows were not. The WIFI was complimentary and worked great. The room temperature was left to a perfect setting when we walked in it was nice and cool. The bathroom shower pressure wasn't as strong as I liked it but they had free bath & body soap, shampoo, etc... The breakfast was really nice. They do not provide a free breakfast. It seems that all 3 star hotels have restaurants and their breakfast is served there to order. The pancakes were really good but I did not like the omelette the ingredients such as the mushroom was canned and just poured in (not cooked). My wife ordered the breakfast sandwich she says it was good. Anyways it was free for the kids so that was nice but it was definitely subpar compared to the HIlton Garden Inn we just stayed at in TN. Overall it was a nice stay for what we needed and I never did see the price because I used my points to pay for the hotel stay. The staff really made a big difference and that's always a great thing. If you find yourself near exit 194 off the I-20 in Augusta, GA, needing a place to stay, sidle up to this oasis of style in a cluster of low-range hotels. Being in the middle of what I consider nowhere, imagine my surprise when I stepped into a well-designed, well laid out lobby oozing modern style. Aaah, civilization. Fresh whole fruit in a bowl, oatmeal-raisin and chocolate chip cookies in the afternoons, full bar. The rooms are a little crowded with furniture but have all amenities -- flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, seating areas. Bathrooms are small for this quality hotel and not as nice-looking as the rest of the renovations but serviceable. Freebies: toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, shaving cream or comb, which is a nice touch. Also, free wifi and kids eat free. There's also a business center, boardroom, small fitness center and pool and jacuzzi. (For some reason, the pool was heated in June but the kids didn't care.) Lots of parking and the location is great -- close in but tucked away on a side street. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever in this part of the woods again. read more

The room was dirty. Like, toenail clippings on the floor, dirty. The housekeeping staff apparently decided that our room didn't need cleaning one day, so they just skipped it. The next day, they made the beds and left us two towels for three people. Then they left our door open for about 8 hours until we got back to the room. It was just propped open for anyone to walk in. Luckily we didn't leave anything of any real value in the room. The "breakfast" was pitiful. They had enough food to feed 10 people, and about 50 trying to eat. The only upside is that it was free. You definitely get what you pay for. I would NOT stay here again. ***UPDATE*** I was contacted by the hotel manager. He ended up refunding the cost of one of the nights, so that's a plus. read more

Stayed 2 nights this past weekend. Friday night (sat. Morning 4:15am),the fire alarm sounds, my wife and I and my daughter and her 3 children rush outside (thankfully the temperature was a balmy 60-65 degrees). We were given the all clear about 35 minutes after the incident. No one ever told us what happened. I believed one of the elevators malfunctioned and caused the smoke condition. Saturday we all attended a wedding which my daughter and grandsons were in. We returned from the wedding around 9:45 pm to find our rooms had not been cleaned. When we left for the wedding, we saw our housekeeper told her we were going out and she could go in now,she even acknowledged how nice we looked. So you can imagine our surprise when we returned. We notified the front desk, the lady was sympathetic said all she could do for us was change our room. We declined and asked for clean towels. She brought them up checked the room said she would write the incident up and inform the manager. I paid almost $200 a night and can't get a freaking room clean ,unacceptable and I will be pursuing this. What a weekend. Updating my review mid way through my stay. Here are a few things to note about the hotel: While there is average lighting in the parking lot. There could be more to make guests feel extra safe. As mentioned in previous posts. Carpets in hallways, elevators and in some common areas could use replacing or a really good shampoo. It's important to note that wifi service is available and there was no "hard line" connection in my room. So you are totally dependent on the wifi to carry you through tasks. But, it's sufficient and stable. For business travelers: this hotel offers none of the "common comforts" that most holiday inns have. No desk, no office chair, few electric connections and no hard wire data connection to be found. I also struggled to find a convenient location just to plug in my cell phone charger. Typically, there is a plug by night stand, etc. None there. Closest was in bathroom or by microwave/fridge "nook". I plan on using pool/hot tub this evening. It looked clean and enjoyable though. This location features a restaurant/bar area. Which has become common in most hotels now. Food appeared to be reasonably priced but perhaps not as high quality as they "tout" it as being. After all, I'm fairly confident that their grilled salmon entree is probably not wild caught or farm raised. And, I stagger to believe it's fresh in the true sense of the meaning fresh. I'm a business traveler and my day starts well before the breakfast nugget opens. I might encourage the business to edit their free breakfast vouchers to include offering a free dinner voucher as well. Particularly if you tout this as being something included in the room pricing. Overall, a good stay this far. Room has been well cleaned each day and ready for me well before I return in the late afternoon hours. read more

I have stayed here multiple times and never had any issues. I am back in Augusta and checked in about 3 hours ago. I got to my room and it was 78 degrees. I was not too worried as these rooms usually cool down very quickly. I turned on the AC and it did not seem to be blowing so i called the front desk to have someone come up and look at it. The guy showed up a couple of minutes later and felt the AC and said that was normal it would just take a little bit to cool down. I turned the air down to 65 and ran out for some dimner. About 2 hours later I came back and the room is only down to 75 degrees. I talked to 2 people on the elevator coming up and both of them said that they stay here very often and stated the AC is the worst it has ever been. I don't know if the hotel is just trying to skimp on expenses and throttle back the thermostat or what is going on but the front desk people just say they're not aware of any issues. I was told a new Holiday Inn Express is being built very close to here so more than likely that will be my new place of stay on future visits unless something drastically changes here. read more

We traveled from Indiana to Augusta to visit friends on Christmas Day. We arrived late evening and found the room to be in good order. We went to visit friends the following day. When we arrived back at the hotel our room had not been touched. Dirty towels, beds not fixed and even worse, some of my kids Christmas presents were missing. I informed the front desk about the incident and they quickly asked me if the "Do not Disturb" tag was on the door. I was the last one out of the room and we did not place the tag on the door. When I went back to the room, sure enough the sign was on the door. The Game: There is a thief in the housekeeping crew. Their game is just as the front desk mentioned, set the "Do not Disturb" tag as if no one has been in the room. (Which explained why the room was not cleaned while we were away.) The thief searches the room for whatever they want and it looks like no one has been in the room. If you stay here, leave nothing behind if you stay more than one day. I reported this to IHG and the hotel owners without any real effort from either. This is typical in the hotel industry as I am finding out. Their motto should be, "If you have a problem with your stay, we will deny everything and admit nothing." Stay at your own risk. read more

I've stayed here on several occasions. I don't have any complaints about any of my stays. I would like to mention that you should book directly with guest services and not discount app like priceline. They have a reward membership that works better. Anytime using priceline, I always have issues checking in. Once here, somehow was charged for two rooms same night and this time, when I arrive at 1pm had to wait until after 3pm for room to be ready. I would also say that for the cost compared to others in the area, rooms seem dated and in need of renovations. The indoor pool is a plus though. Staff is friendly and helpful read more

Yeah, I'm the first to write a review. I visit Augusta so many times and this place is the cleanest hotel by far. I managed to bid it for $45 per night through Priceline.com. Staff members are always friendly, they let me check in early whenever there's an empty room, and let me check out late too ! I have stayed at this hotel several times, mostly due to circumstances beyond my control. There are three primary reasons to never, ever stay here. First, the internet. It NEVER works. Do not go here assuming you will be able to get any work done. If all you wanna do is watch pay-per-view and drink Jack Daniels at the bar, you can skip this section. But not a single one of the wireless access points work. And by never work, I mean, even when you manage to log on, download speeds are so slow that loading Gmail is best done while you go eat or take a shower. When you finally give up and call the front desk to ask them why the internet is messed up, they just give you a 1-877 number to call to get tech support. After waiting 10 minutes on hold, you can usually get someone on the other end to help you out. It's actually really good and friendly tech support. But as a frequent business traveler to many parts of the world, I have never seen internet this bad in the developed world. Not in India. Not in Kansas. Not ever. I mean a Fayetteville, North Carolina Econolodge makes this place's internet look bad. And this is not a one time thing, but has occurred in each of my three stays here over the past year. Second, the gym. Terrible is too good a word for this closet of antiquated cardio fitness equipment. There is a treadmill from the Reagan administration, and a stationary bike that looks like it was picked up at a yard sale a few years back. There are no free weights, no exercise machines, and no open space. Richard Simmons wouldn't use these craptastic museum pieces. I realize this is Georgia, but some of us Georgians haven't let ourselves go yet. And some of us have to go back to our metropolitan lives without getting too soggy in the midsection. So pretty please, Augusta West, help us with this. Seriously, this would be a better gym if all it had was an empty open space to do some plyometrics or jump rope, pushups, and situps. Seriously. So tell ya what Augusta West. How about you get some free weights, one of those giant blow up balls, a bench, and call it a day. That's all it would take to turn this situation around. Third, the restaurant. Breakfast at the restaurant is quite a treat. Mostly because you can play a game in which you guess which part of your order they will botch. For me, I always order an egg white omelet. Today I had a different waitress, Ashley, and she was the first all week not to screw it up. Way to go Ashley! You go girl! But Gloria. You have messed this up EVERY time. It's not hard to check either. The big giveaway on the egg whites is that egg whites are, wait for it, white. So when you give me a yellow omelet, it says either "I don't care what you ordered, go screw yourself Yankee" or "I am border line retarded." In addition to the egg white fiasco, my coworker was delivered the wrong dish several times. On the other hand, in the evening, the bar is well run, and the bartenders do an alright job, although the pours are a bit skimpy, depending on the bartender. The older one does a pretty great job really. A few other notes. The keys keep on failing to open the door. Day in day out. Housekeeping keeps setting my toothbrush on the sink. Gross! Now, not everything about this hotel is bad. In fact, I'm gonna give it two stars for a few simple reasons. I have stayed here a few times, and not once gotten bed bugs. Nor have I been shot at or seen anyone else shot at. I have gotten exactly the food that I ordered at least once. The beds are pretty comfortable. There are enough towels. Toilet paper is not in short supply. And it's close enough to the Hampton Inn that you could probably sneak into their much better gym. Or you could just stay there next time, like I'm gonna do. The staff were very friendly, courteous, helpful and professional with the exception of the manager. The rooms were roomy and comfortable but the food, although good was too expensive. House keeping need to be retrained because they didn't do a thorough job of cleaning the room. In addition, I was more than disappointed when dealing with the manager Kyle Burkhart. Prior to registration, I visited the hotel to find out about my qualifying platinum elite member benefits and was told that I qualify for an upgrade. The guest services representative on staff checked for availability and confirmed that there was availability during my requested period of stay. Later that day when I arrived to check in, the manager, Mr. Burkhardt told me that there was no availability for the requested upgrade nor could he allow me to stay in an upgraded room for an extended period. I asked him what benefit do I qualify for as an elite member since I'm not afforded this upgrade? His response was basically, I'm sorry. The service rep at the counter felt bad so she offered me a free appetizer and a couple of free drinks. That wasn't good enough considering my customer loyalty. I also requested a weekly bill from him which I did not get. Several days later I requested a carry out container so I could take a hot breakfast to go. I was told no. I could only take food and pastries out of the hotel. I asked why but wasn't given a straight answer. I was then asked to speak to a manager but he was not available. The service representative provided me with his business card and told me to contact him the next day between the hours of 0900-1500 hrs. Mr. Burkhurdt was not available, however, I left him a message asking that he give me a call regarding the issue. He did not. Once I arrived back at the hotel later in the day I asked was he available and to speak with him. I informed him that I called him and asked why he didn't called me back. I asked about the food policy in which he informed me that none of the full restaurant hotels he has worked for allow patrons to take hot breakfast out of the hotel but if I paid for the breakfast I could. My response was, you mean you are stating that if I want to take free food out of the hotel I must pay for it? He stated yes! Wow! He was quite rude and treated me as though I was not a valued customer or worth his time. It was the worst experience I've ever received from a hotel. I spent money in the restaurant and I was scheduled to spend an additional 30+ days in the hotel but due to the manager's treatment and attitude towards me I'm checking out tomorrow. This hotel must be doing well to have such discontent towards customers, yet it was fairly empty during the time I was there. Go figure. . . Nevertheless, I do not plan to stay at any other Holiday Inn again. Customer loyalty should mean something but he demonstrated that it doesn't. read more

Extremely disappointed in my second stay here within one week. The first time I stayed, I had a better experience, not perfect, but definitely better than what I am experiencing now. The wifi is slow and barely works, my room has a half eat pop tart on the floor next to some crumbs of something else, there is a weird smell and I'm not sure if it is from the air conditioning or the hotel in general. Room service knocked on my door three times even though the sign for no room service is out there. I had a keurig and nicer pillows in my other room so I asked if I could get switched to another room and they said they were full. I literally stayed here two days ago and the parking lot was packed, today the parking lot has about three cars in it so I'm not sure how they are full compared to the other day. The breakfast is ok but I'm not sure why they have breakfast vouchers. Some days they take them, some days they don't. Then the pool has been closed, I'm not sure why but I really stayed here a second time because I loved the pool last time and now it is closed. Also, this is really annoying but the shower curtain is smaller than the shower so every time I shower the floor gets freaking soaked. I wish I could get my money back. read more

The hotel is clean, bright and fresh. Staff is friendly. But oh my goodness... the water pressure is terrible. My wife described it as like campIng and having only bags of water to conserve for everything. The waters hottest temp is kind of mildly lukewarm. So basically showering, shaving, and even brushing your teeth are all a challenge and take longer than they should. read more

Stayed here for four days with my kids while visiting family. The hotel is under renovation but we didn't experience any disturbances. (I wish there had been a discount on the price because we obviously weren't staying in renovated rooms). Pluses for this place was proximity to Grovetown, and that it had a fridge. Was able to store baby's milk in it. Also liked that the pool was open at all times and that room was clean. Enjoyed the choice of firm and soft pillows. Overall a decent place to stay. Breakfast was ok but I was tired of the same thing after 4 days. read more

I am floored by the terrible customer service at this place. I tried to reserve a different holiday inn close to town and I guess since that one was booked it it defaulted to this one (same city but father out). I found this out a few hours later upon my arrival to the one I thought I booked and I tried to cancel and get a refund, but the general manager said that I could not have one since I cancelled within 24 hours and it wasn't his problem since that was the policy. When I asked to be transferred to a corporate representative he said sure and then transferred me to someone who listened to me, put me on hold 15 minutes and then told me that the person who transferred me was actually her boss. I travel a lot (often at the last minute) and have had great customer service with a variety of different companies, but this has been one of the worst Travel experiences I have had in a long time. I will most definitely not be using any holiday inns in the near future. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I have stayed here countless times with the no problems. However, this time has by far been my worst hotel experience in life. Management at this particular Holiday Inn should be fired. They are currently going through renovations and instead of closing down until the renovations are complete they chose to hazardously stay open at the detriment of loyal customers. Jackhammers can be heard from guest rooms. Breakfast was completely interrupted because of the chaos going on in the lobby. The elevators open up to construction as evidenced by the attached video. The workers would not even stop jackhammering in front of doors so that guests getting off the elevator could safely pass by. Upon speaking to an employee I was told the system was down. Once the system came up I was told there was nothing she could do and that the construction was noted on the website although I never saw mention of it. Management told me that I could not transfer my reservation instead I would have to completely cancel the reservation and resubmit a reservation with Gordon hwy even though it is absolutely possible as I have done it before. In the end I paid for a night and checked out completely because no one should be subjected to this kind of madness (especially not on a getaway). read more

We enjoyed our stay- staff was friendly and despite renovations being done - all went well. our room was clean and updated. It was convenient to I20 and I520. Only one morning breakfast wasn't accommodating the amount of guests - very full Friday night so Saturday morning they should of had more staff. We will stay there again. read more

I stayed here for a night on a business trip. It was a nice hotel overall, but the gym was small and didn't even have a weight machine as shown in the pics. The one treadmill was okay, but the elliptical was rickety and the stats were wrong. The Jacuzzi was closed for cleaning, but there was a nice jacuzzi in my room. I liked how they offer yummy cookies at the front desk as well as complimentary toiletries just in case you forgot to bring some. The shampoo/lotions are bath and body works brand! The bed was comfy, but my flat screen tv had some channels that were not clear due to some screen damage. The complimentary coffee in the lobby was a nice touch as well. The hotel was very clean and nicely renovated with nice interior decorating in the lobby area (and a fireplace)! They also had a yummy fruit bowl! There is also free wifi which they give the password to upon checkin. read more

From the moment we checked in and checked out, we found nothing but great service and a pleasant stay. We were pleasantly surprised as Holiday Inns never impressed us before, but we would return again if in the area. Breakfast was nothing exceptional, but considering the price, perfectly fine. The bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Can't ask for much more. I do hope they continue the remodeled look into the rooms at some point. read more
