The lady in the office was great though and got us going quickly. We walked over to our room and were happily surprised at how nice it all was, especially considering how inexpensive it was. Coffee, HBO, wifi, refrigerator and a nice comfortable king size bed. My girlfriend confirmed that this was the best deal we have received on our entire vacation:)

The room was also very clean and smelled very nice. We loved how the bed felt! It was super comfortable and the pillows and sheets were just right. The room was super quiet and you couldn't hear any road noise. The tv had a streaming option where you can sign in to your accounts and pickup where you left off. It signed you out automatically when you exited it. The breakfast in the morning down stairs was very good and tasty and the area was very clean. Thank you SpringHill Suites for an excellent hotel stay! Look forward to staying again! The ONLY negative thing I saw in the room was from the person that did the finish work around our suite with the caulk gun during construction did a very bad job and made a terrible mess of it. There is one big room with multiple beds that's perfect for families or just hanging out with bunch of friends. The Duck Farm is also available for gathering, receptions, birthdays, spiritual retreats, etc. We celebrated my mother's 88th Birthday in the main house and then decided to stay in the Bed and Breakfast. This was one of the best decisions of our entire trip. Next time we're in the Raywood/Liberty area will certainly be staying at the Duck Farm.

On my trip to the Baytown area, I chose this hotel as it was a newer hotel and the price was comparable to other similar hotels in the area. The rooms at Home2 Suites are large and roomy and come with all the amenities you need for one or more nights. The rooms have a kitchenette, plenty of space for your bags, enough room for a Yoga mat, large and comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. I also chose this hotel for the gym as it has modern gym equipment and a variety of equipment. The lobby is large and bright and has many areas to work and play for large groups and individuals. The Breakfast has many options incl, including hot and cold food and a selection of fresh fruits. Overall a very good, affordable hotel in the Baytown area.

We have stayed in several hotels with varying results. This time, we tried Candlewood Suites because it is closer to my dad's home and we don't have to fight the one lane traffic on Garth road all the way to I-10. This place is amazing! There is a full sized refrigerator, cook top, dishwasher, garbage disposal, pool, and free laundry! While there are no ice machines, the refrigerator in your room has an ice maker!!!! There are a couple of outdoor gas grills with seating areas and an outdoor pool. We have decided that this is our go to hotel from now on! All of the front desk people were cheery and courteous especially Cel Osorio! She was fantastic. Can't wait to come back.

(FYI - If you have a loved one who is on a ventilator, there are VERY FEW vent units in the State of Texas, this being one of them. :-(. I live in the DFW area, and am going to have to make several trips to Liberty until Mom can (hopefully) wean off of the ventilator.) Anyway, the lady at Deluxe Inn was good to me. The room was clean and good enough to sleep in. Don't get me wrong, this is nothing luxurious, but it wasn't "ratty" either. I drove by a couple of other motels in the area before choosing this one, and they scared me. A couple of the ladies at the nursing home later told me that this was probably the best one of all of them. The one complaint I have is that it is across the street from the railroad tracks, and there were construction vehicles in that area, and one would occasionally (sometimes at night) blow it's horn, and it sounded like a train right over your shoulder. Otherwise, I will probably continue staying here until I find something better.

The big sign out front touts this historical hotel as one of the most haunted places in Texas...and believe me...it is! I wandered in on a whim, and the hotel owner came out of the office to ask who I was after seeing me touring the pink painted halls on the security camera. I explained that I was from California and had seen the big sign out front and thought I would take a peek. I have never met a more friendly and welcoming person in all my life! Mrs. McCain gave me the grand tour, and showed me many things I would have missed on just an unguided walk through. Needless to say, it was an experience that I will always treasure and never forget!

We were visiting friends in the Mont Belvieu and chose this hotel mainly because it's set back from…read morethe main road, making it quieter than many properties along Garth Road. Check-in was fine. Although I had already checked in via the app, I stopped by the front desk to pick up a physical key, which I usually do as a backup. As someone relatively new to Hilton Garden Inn, I asked whether any complimentary upgrades were available. The response I received, something about water in the room, was a bit confusing and didn't clearly address the question. Later, when we left the room with recyclable bottles, I asked the same front desk staff member about recycling options. Again, the response was unclear and I was directed toward a water fountain, which didn't answer the question. I shared this experience with the general manager, Veronica, who was receptive and professional. She explained that the property does not have recycling options and said she would address this with management and use the situation as a coaching opportunity to improve staff communication and customer engagement. The room itself was fine and met expectations, with no major issues. It's also worth noting that the hotel does not have suites--only standard and accessible rooms--so upgrades should not be expected, as confirmed by the general manager. Overall, a decent stay, and I appreciate management's willingness to listen and improve. Hopefully, communication will be smoother on future visits.
