I relocated to this hotel after an unpleasant experience at the Laquinta, (don't go there). This place was luxury in comparison. Staff was all pleasant and constantly checking in on me to see what I needed if anything. The hotel is newer and still presents as such. The room I was upgraded to had a balcony with view of river. It was nice to have this for relaxing early in the morning and doing yoga. The bathroom could use more bars to hang towels and clothing as there are only 2 hangers on the bathroom door and that's all. Breakfast is not included unless you specifically book with it. It may be better to just pay for it outright depending on the number of guests in your party. There is plenty of parking around the hotel and you can enter thru side doors with room key. I loved the cleanliness of the hotel facilities, my room, and the ice machine area. All of this matters to me when I'm staying somewhere. Amethyst was so sweet when we checked in and cheerful. I love joyed the Christmas decorations throughout the hotel and felt very comfortable during my stay. I did not try out the bar or the burger spot downstairs. read more

So, my room was clean, quiet, and in good shape. Check in was easy and service was friendly. For a "riverfront" hotel, it looks like only a fraction of the rooms have a view of the river (mine did not). I also envisioned being able to walk along the river to downtown spots, and though I did walk to at least one place for dinner I did so without ever seeing the river and it was not the most leisurely of walks. A bar on site that is not crazy expensive as well as a restaurant which I did not try. Exiting the hotel is a bit odd due to the one-way roads intersecting in front of it. I wish they'd provide real glasses in the room and complimentary coffee in the lobby. The TV could benefit from some smart options, perhaps accessible HBO Max and Netflix accounts. All in all a solid stay at a mostly reasonable price that could have been better, perhaps by providing some of the amenities that even cheaper competitors now provide. read more

Stephanie at the front desk was so sweet to us, as we were in town to visit my mother-in-law who isn't doing too well. She checked on us a couple of times. Beautiful view, nice balconies on the river side. We could walk to downtown and go out to bars or Paducah Beer Works. We also drove to Metropolis, IL right across the river which has a casino and a huge Superman statue. Lovely stay. Very clean and comfortable. read more

The wife and I have stayed at this hotel twice while visiting family here. The location is good. You can walk to downtown, and at least one of the breweries. The rooms are nice without being fancy. We basically need the room as a place to sleep and it works for that although sound proofing is not great. There was a lot of noise in the hallway in the morning and at night. The bed was comfortable. There is a weird upright futon like thing that appears to be intended as a lounge chair. However, it is hard as a slab of cement and not useable for much other than as a luggage stand. See photo. There was an issue checking in. When we showed up at about 5:15 p.m. on our most recent visit, the staff seemed disoriented and the woman handling the desk took a long time and asked unusual questions to identify us and then finally told us it would take 20 minutes to check us in. So we left and did other things. When we returned a few hours later the issue had been resolved and the hotel gave us free breakfast coupons, which I appreciate. We will return and stay here again if our relatives stay in Paducah. read more

Great option when staying in Paducah. We came to town to play in the pickleball tournament at the new courts in Noble Park. Great stop! Nice lobby with bar and restaurant. Had the full breakfast at the restaurant included in our stay which was fresh hot omelets! The toom was great! We reserved a king room and got licky and was given an upgrade to a king suite which was huge with a separate bedroom and living room, bar seating. Great view out back of the ohio river! The property is clean and the staff was friendly. The room was comfortable and well appointed and seemed fairly priced. The only real issue we had was parking. At check in, there were no spaces in the lot and we ended up parking on the street. The next day, we realized that the hotel has a huge lot behind the property that is unmarked and wasn't mentioned when we arrived. It's tough to see because it backs up to the river and is behind a high flood wall. The surrounding neighborhood has an industrial vibe and feels a little sketchy. It's walking distance to downtown, the quilt museum , the convention center and the Walker Event Center. read more

We stayed here on a return trip in early August also. The main change was that the restaurant was open for breakfast now. Be aware of whether your room did / did not include breakfast, as they default to charging you for table service (as opposed to the 'before times' buffet option). Very nice holiday inn. I was upgraded to a riverview balcony room which was nice on the warm February day I spent there. Out by the river there is a short walking trail and this hotel is also just down the road from Stuart Nelson or Noble park which both have access to the Paducah greenway trail which is an awesome trail system partially paved and partially crushed limestone that I run every time I'm in town. Burger theory is in the lobby, these are usually pretty good but the menu is limited severely at the moment I assume due to covid? But the burger I had was good. Will stay again read more

We stayed here for the night and weren't expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised! The hotel itself was impressive from the outside, albeit there are large, concrete levy walls surrounding it as it is next to the Mississippi River. The check-in process was quick and easy and the front desk ladies were pleasant and helpful. The entire hotel is clean and modern. Plenty of fresh towels. The pool looked inviting and my son was pleased with the weights available for him in the gym. Would totally recommend this hotel. We liked it so much we decided to book it again in two weeks for our return trip home! read more

The staff was very professional until the midnight shift, but I'm sure she was tired. First of all, our room was dirty. I cleaned the floors and removed hair that wasn't mine from the shower drain. There are obvious spill marks (I hope that's what they are) on the back of the bathroom door. We travel quite often. I stayed here for the proximity to the hospital because my father is having open heart. The level of cleanliness especially during covid times is abysmal at best. The a/c in the room doesn't go below 70 degrees. It's the south and it's hot. The shade in our room is broken so "hello sun!" Come morning. Nice lobby though. Booked a last minute getaway and asked for their best room. Got a suite with 2 balconies on top floor that overlooked the river. Josh at front desk even helped us get early check in. The room was spacious, clean, and had an amazingly comfortable king bed. Parking was always convenient and all staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. Several guests were in hotel and everyone was following the COVID guidelines. Location was perfect, awesome river walk just outside the rear of hotel and great little city center within walking distance as well. Make sure to visit Kirchhoff's bakery for some of the best pastries and coffee. We look forward to staying here again! read more

My family and I were in town for a wedding. We were one of two families staying at this hotel. The first family arrived and got into their room only to smell a stretch of what smelled like cat urine. They then asked to be put in another room, which was going to be smaller due to how full the hotel was at the time. We arrived about an hour later and were put in the other families previous room (smelled of cat urine). We did not smell anything immediately but after we left and came back from the wedding, leaving our AC running due to being off when we came in, we smelled the stench of cat urine as well. It was already 12am and we were just staying one night so we toughed it out. In addition to the stench, after we started unpacking, we found a pair of dirty underwear and a shirt that looked extremely dirty in one of the drawers. We called the front desk to come and get it outside of our door after turning a trash bag inside out to pick it up and remove it. They did not offer any kind of apology until right before we checked out and did not give a percentage off/refund our money due to this experience. I give this 2 stars instead of 1 because, the restaurant and bar were quite good. We had drinks one night at the bar and breakfast the next morning. It was all very delicious. The lobby was also very well designed and the room we had was very spacious. read more

Poor service! Paid a lot of money for four nights in a two room suite. The hotel provided room service only two of the four nights. Didn't make bed, empty garbage, or provide clean towels. Both times we complained and they made excuses. After two phone calls they finally brought towels and took towels and garbage we had gathered. Would definitely not recommend. read more

We started to come back from our 10 hour trip from Louisiana, first of all the place was clean. Awesome, I went to sleep and woke up the next day. I wanted breakfast. They didn't have most of the things on the menu "due to covid" so instead i went to a different place. They didn't care of course. Then I at least wanted to have dinner, and they didn't even have a salad. Fine, whatever, I'll just order pizza. The next day an elevator broke with 2 ladies in it. Wow. A group of 14 friends stayed at the hotel during Labor Day weekend and attended the Touchdown and Tunes Music Festival in Paducah. The hotel and restaurant is nice, the staff was friendly and professional, even though they were short staffed. One bartender, Joey, was especially helpful. He stayed over his shift by several hours to accommodate our large group just wanting to hangout before the festival! He was awesome! We will definitely be back!!!! read more

When we saw there was a bar, we were so excited to get a drink after such a long day (plus, you must get bourbon in Kentucky, right?). This is a nice Holiday Inn on the riverfront. It looks to be brand new. We didn't eat at the restaurant and at but it looks like a place that we would enjoy. There was an outdoor area with tables and conversation areas that looked very inviting. You couldn't see the river from the seating areas outside due to a flood wall but they made it look cozy. If you want a river view from your room, you should probably ask for the third or fourth floor. The service was excellent with an easy check in process. Parking is in the front but there is also a large lot in the back with easy access. It is about a mile from the downtown area and you would not want to walk it. The whole town gets pretty quiet after 11 (even on a weekend). read more

Newest hotel in Paducah (built in 2017) and totally worth the extra drive off the interstate. Very clean. Pleasant staff. Kids eat free at the in-hotel restaurant (Burger Theory). Also, close to other downtown restaurants if the on site hotel isn't what you are looking for. read more
