Stephanie at the front desk was so sweet to us, as we were in town to visit my mother-in-law who isn't doing too well. She checked on us a couple of times. Beautiful view, nice balconies on the river side. We could walk to downtown and go out to bars or Paducah Beer Works. We also drove to Metropolis, IL right across the river which has a casino and a huge Superman statue. Lovely stay. Very clean and comfortable.

The wife and I have stayed at this hotel twice while visiting family here. The location is good. You can walk to downtown, and at least one of the breweries. The rooms are nice without being fancy. We basically need the room as a place to sleep and it works for that although sound proofing is not great. There was a lot of noise in the hallway in the morning and at night. The bed was comfortable. There is a weird upright futon like thing that appears to be intended as a lounge chair. However, it is hard as a slab of cement and not useable for much other than as a luggage stand. See photo. There was an issue checking in. When we showed up at about 5:15 p.m. on our most recent visit, the staff seemed disoriented and the woman handling the desk took a long time and asked unusual questions to identify us and then finally told us it would take 20 minutes to check us in. So we left and did other things. When we returned a few hours later the issue had been resolved and the hotel gave us free breakfast coupons, which I appreciate. We will return and stay here again if our relatives stay in Paducah.

hotel fine the burger bar is horrible. Don't eat/drink there. The bartender picks olives out with her fingers.

You couldn't see the river from the seating areas outside due to a flood wall but they made it look cozy.

On the 2nd floor is another unlocked, uncovered door that has a balcony butted up to yours. You could step over and be in your space. Not comfortable with that. 2 flights of stairs straight up to get to the 2nd floor and another flight to get to the bedrooms. With the Orgy shower sitting right in the middle of the floor between the 2 bedrooms was a little P Diddy for us regular folks. All the track lights makes it hard to find their cameras. CREEPY The beds were comfortable and the place was clean as a pin. That is what the 2 stars are for. There is no breakfast and the bar is a joke at best. Why people lie about live entertainment blows me away. It looked like an old Folks home TV room. They advertise a pool table. It is a private table and on the 3rd floor of the Trifecta room. No access for other customers. The pool room butts up to the P Diddy bedroom. Balls were broke and hollering went on til very late. The lady who they say is an owner(that's what this site says) gave me a very furred brow when I ask about the advertised table and where it was. (To say rude would be fair) I knew there was a pool adjacent to my bedroom because I heard it til late. Lastly... we were there on a Monday and nothing was opened. NOTHING!!!!! So for this business to advertise that other places are in walking distance is again very misleading. First off PIGGY BACKING off other businesses with your baseless claims of availability is a bit fraudulent. This whole thing is misleading. There was NO parking for us behind a condo. We had to park on the street and haul our stuff a city block before we started the multiple flights of stairs to the room. As town was dead this was still unacceptable as it is clearly stated on the site that parking was available and free. If town had anything going on we would have had NOWHERE to park.. When we arrived there had been an error made somewhere between Expedia and the Hotel. We were going to have to move rooms. There was no way that was going to happen. The young man on 2nd shift worked very quickly to get that second night cancelled and was very professional about the error. That is what 1 star is for. Just not my jam and after reading the other comments I would never try any of these other rooms either. Safety first. Lipstick on a pig is still a pig.

We usually stay at Hiltons so we chose this Hampton. Luckily we did not arrive to late so we had time to settle in and make it somewhere to eat dinner. After we settled in our room, we decided to check out the lobby area for a little. They have a little market, which is oddly placed behind the front desk counter. We grabbed a couple of beers and decided to sit at one of the tables to relax. The front desk person came up to us after he was done assisting all these other people and informed us the beers were on him. I thought that was so kind! When we returned from dinner, we decided to grab some beers and sit in the lobby again. There was a different front desk person but we did not interact with her as much due to her being in the back. The hotel overall gives an outdated vibe-in the room and lobby. We did make it for breakfast and there was a decent selection of items. Unfortunately, when I was attempting to grab another cup of coffee when I was done with breakfast, the canister was empty. Someone asked a staff member about putting a fresh container of coffee out and she went to brew it immediately. It still took about 15 minutes but we appreciated the immediate assistance. It was not done in vain because there was four of us waiting. I did not use the shower because the shower had mold and some parts did not look safe or clean. Like I said, a renovation definitely needs to happen here. The staff were great in all experiences. I even made it a point to compliment the front desk woman in the morning because she was dealing with several rude assholes and she did not deserve that.

There is a Bob Evens within waking distances but there is no sidewalk and it is not advised to walk in the dark. We have stayed here a few times. Friendly check in, clean and comfortable, quiet rooms and pool/workout center. No hot tub. The breakfasts are a step above and plenty of options to choose from. Upon arrival a nap was in order. When I went to get up I got a Horrible Charlie horse in my inner thigh rendering me unable to stand up or walk. My husband ran to the front desk asking for mustard packets. Destiny was on staff and quickly handed him some packets without any explanation. She asked if he needed catsup too and he hastily replied no as he hurried back to our room. A previous experience had a retired nurse giving me mustard as a Charlie horse remedy. Believe it or not it works. I also use smart Water and usually keep some bedside but did not have any with me in the hotel. After I got through the ordeal my husband went back to the front desk to let Destiny know he was t trying to be rude but was in a hurry and explained to her why. Sadly she stated that a lot of people are rude to her. I found her very kind and pleasant as she complimented me when we were checking in earlier. A light was on in our room upon entry which made us feel welcomed as they were awaiting arrival.
