Bowled here for years, but the place is going down hill fast. Bathrooms floors are filthy, wear shoe protectors if you go in. Recent tournament nobody even showed up to open the doors till 20 minutes after registration was to start. No food or drink service on tournament mornings. I'm very disappointed with my recent visit to Holiday Lanes. This is a place I used to enjoy and visit often, which makes this experience even more frustrating. We were assigned Lane 48 and paid for two hours of bowling. Almost immediately, there were issues with the pin system. it wouldn't recognize pins correctly and would remove pins that hadn't been hit. On top of that, the lane repeatedly freezing . We had to go to the front desk about five to ten times within the first hour just to report that the lane wasn't working. I eventually asked to be moved to another lane 47. While that lane was slightly better, it had its own problems, repeatedly shutting off entirely as if it were losing power. Once again, we were forced to walk back and forth to the front desk over and over. It honestly felt like we spent more time walking to report issues than we did actually bowling. We also tried using the microphone for assistance, but never received a response. A smaller issue, but still worth mentioning, is that the bowling shoes have been changed and are now very difficult to tighten, which made them uncomfortable to use. The second and third photos show how the lane would completely shut down. We ended up leaving early during the third game because we were tired of constantly dealing with broken equipment. It felt like a waste of money, and overall, I'm very disappointed with what used to be a place I enjoyed coming to. read more

My best friend was in town and he picked this bowling alley for us to take our kids to. I had only been here a couple of times and I was never really impressed. It's a really old-school bowling alley, but it is the closest bowling alley to me. The staff was friendly but Lane 3 is horrible, the balls kept getting stuck and the sensors weren't detecting the balls. The computer system they use on the lanes is very old and confusing to operate. The kids loved the pizza and fries, to me, they were just okay. Would I go back? Probably not, I really enjoy Sequoia and Wayne Webb's bowling alley much more. read more

I have been here twice and each time I have been here, I have enjoyed myself! The bowling alley is huge, there are three separate areas for bowling (left, right, back) and they also have a bar that is in a private room towards the back, as well as food and games. I have not had food here so I cannot comment on that but the food is hidden towards the alleys in the back of the building. Bowling prices are great, it's like $5.50 a game per person or $12 per person for 2 hours. Drinks aren't cheap but they aren't overly expensive either. This place is very clean and the staff has always been friendly to me. Definitely recommend if you're looking to go bowling in the Whitehall/Reynoldsburg area! read more

A family member of mine has claimed that this is the best place in to Columbus to pick up a man. While I completely disagree with this statement, Holiday Lanes has provided many good memories for me over the years. I used to come here all the time with friends on the weekend while in high school. I'd have to send my friend's dad into the bar area to get me Shirley Temples since I was under 21 and couldn't enter the room. Now I'm much older and still occasionally make it around this place. Hey, my mom is even trying to convince me to join a league with her. My average score is about a 35, so I'm clearly a terrible bowler, but always have a fun time. read more

Friendly staff - Great place for kids! The games average about seven dollars for one lane, plus shoe rental. They have a decent variety of bowling balls to choose from if you do not have your own. read more

For a Friday night, this place was not that busy. There were plenty of lanes available. The attendant tried to separate adult bowlers (those on dates) from those bowling with kids, which was a wonderful idea. The ladies at the food counter were awesome and friendly. The place was clean and all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. read more

Visited Holiday over the weekend. I hadn't been in some time, and it's gone downhill for me. More expensive than some other alleys (as shoe rental isn't included either) sbs much too dated. Old equipment and odd seating set-up left me less than satisfied. The staff was great, though. read more

Here on a Saturday night. There is a wait. They just gave two lanes to 4 people bowling together. Why couldn't 4 people share 1 lane? Lost revenue morons. If you're on a wait, you should put 4 on 1 lane. We can see several groups that are split across more lanes than they need. The best bet would be to have more people on as few lanes as possible. They will spend more on drinks and food and take longer on that 1 lane. read more

As a "snowbird" I've found lanes in the FL area are SO-O-O expensive, dirty and the staff are generally not friendly or accommodating to the senior bowler. Fred, at the desk, Ann and Ruth and Joan at the snack bar, Jimmy, Freddie S. and ALL THE REST are genuinely the most friendly staff EVER! School groups are welcomed! The summer leagues are the GREATEST with the Casino Night (culminating the summer season) offering over $30K worth of prizes and great food are a lot of fun! Fred, you are awesome! I looked around the area for a bowling alley and wasn't sure about Holiday Lanes...I stopped in after driving to three other bowling alleys (which were all closed). I walked in, was immediately greeted by Fred and a couple other staff members. I wanted to bowl a few games and see if I fit in--I did and I did! Fred made me feel comfortable, and he went through the leagues they have, to see if my schedule would allow me to participate in any of them...this I will have to work out, but I'm still very interested. I just want to feel comfortable bowling by myself for an hour or so, and feel safe, too. All of this happened, and I will return. Kudos to Holiday Lanes for winning me over! Being new to the Columbus area has been challenging for me to find places to go and have fun; Holidays Lanes is the first of many new adventures for me. Thank you!! read more
