Recently Holiday opened up a new location in Cottage Grove and we have been coming here ever since. Now lets not get too crazy you might say as its just a gas station. Well, it may be a gas station, but not just a gas station. They have a nice car wash. Inside their car wash they actually have an employee that helps spray your car down when you go through the wash. Inside is your typical convenient store with some groceries, hot and cold drinks as well as hot and cold food. The one item that separates this Holiday from other locations in the area, is that they sell bait! Yes fisherman they have bait here! For those of us that used to stop at that place on 61 that closed a few years back, now we have a local place where we can get gas, snacks, drinks and bait! I can't tell you how nice this is as there are just not a lot of places besides the front or back yard, where an angler can get some bait. This is a nice bright and clean store and we will certainly be stopping here some more and every time before we go fishing!

And the donuts were nice and fresh. So many gas stations don't have a good variety of drinks. This one did.. Customer Service guys were friendly!! Only thing I'm not a fan of is the round abouts off the freeway which is not a reflection on the gas station.

Easy location in the middle of a lot of action at many stores. Everything is within half a square…read moremile here. Service was good polite employees. Easy in and out from two corners. Close to the highway. Restroom was clean. Not too small not too large stored inside. It's the fresh grinding of their coffee that brings me to holiday station. I may find a company that makes the grounding and coffee and I'm gonna buy one and bring it home. And then I will buy electric car and then I will not need to go to any gas station anymore. This particular location always seem to be under staffed and something is almost always wrong or not working properly. There have been multiple instances where their 'system is down or not accepting rebates/coupons' :D like so everything else is working but just that, sure! The parking lot, am sure gets cleaned regularly but not regularly enough. And there is always, always a spill in the aisles, whenever I've gone. The staff seems to be friendly so definitely deserve a star for that but with that said, I probably will go to this location only if there is no other option available.

I am having trouble getting my prescriptions filled more often than not. I call it in, they fill…read moreit and call to say come and pick it up, and if I don't get there fast enough they give it away to others and call and tell me it's out of stock. This time I called to check status on my prescription and it said it was ready for pickup and indicated it was the full amount I needed. I am presently getting ready to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy that is NOT Walgreens. Word to the Wise: if you continue to use Walgreens and they call you to come pick up your prescription, drop everything you're doing and get over there ASAP and pick it up before it's gone. Whatever happened to having so many "days" to pick up yourk prescription???

As the nearest gas/convenience store to my house, I stop at Kaposia often…read more There are three unique 'pluses', and one 'minus' to Kaposia: + coffee and cheapuccinos are $1, any size. + they have a seating area to enjoy your treats- I often see locals congregate there, which makes me happy. South St. Paulites have a cute community that appears in interesting places. + gas is the cheapest around, usually by around 5 cents. - the one downside: I usually don't get the best gas mileage on Kaposia gas. I get 25 mpg on SA or Holiday gas, but for some reason Kaposia gas only stretches out 22 or 23 mpg. Otherwise, For the most part, Kaposia is your typical convenience store, with pop selections, candy, chips, coffee (hot and iced), cheapuccinos, fountain pop, hot dogs, donuts, lottery tickets, etc. You get the picture.
