Despite my variety of choices, I bypass all of these stores to go to Clark (also known as Amy's Mini Mart). From the outside, Clark appears to be a tiny inconspicuous gas station that would make for a convenient stop for a Snickers bar. In the inside, Clark provides more than instant gratification for a sudden sweet tooth. My basis for declaring my loyalty to this establishment come from three appeals. 1) Price: Though Clark is not the cheapest gas station available to me but it is the cheapest in my immediate area. The food and drinks within the store cost about as much as they would at any other convenience store. Though s few of the items exclusive to Clark are much cheaper than their name brand counterparts so i like to take advantage of that possibility when i can. 2) Friendliness: After being a regular patron of this gas station since the spring of 2010, the faces of those that work there have become all too familiar. Some of them I even know by name. I can easily strike up a conversation with any of the employees, even the ones i don't know as well as others. No matter who's working I always feel comfortable and welcome as I walk through the doors. 3) Quality: I'm well aware that Clark is a gas station, not Olive Garden. I don't expect nor claim that their merchandise is high end or superb. I will claim, however, that I thoroughly trust that whatever I happen to buy there will be fresh and satisfying. There is no surprise that going to Clark on a daily basis over the span of six or so months has proved it to be my favorite gas station. But without the aforementioned reasons, I wouldn't be so adamant about upholding my daily ritual. As long as Clark stands at the corner of Douglas and Brittany Drive, you can expect me to see me there once (possibly twice) a day.

The self serve drink area was much cleaner than any other place, coffee kept warm and ready to go. Almost a discount price on gas, not sure how they do that. Gas and go, say hi to the smiling owner, buy a bit for the horse, but I just have a 4 wheel car.

This gas station has been in this location ever since we moved here to Scandia in 1995. Although it has changed owners through the years, the same essential products have always been there which has been nice. This is an ideal location since the next closest gas station is a good 8-10 miles away, depending on the direction you go. When Speedway bought out SuperAmerica in 2019, there wasn't much of a change except signage. The major change happened when SuperAmerica became the new owner of the gas station and convenience store. What was once there - and I wish Speedway would still offer - are the items that people truly need and can use around here since it's an agricultural community: wood chips for horses and other farm-related products. The wood chips used to be delivered to your farm for a nominal fee. This was a great service! Wish it would come back again. Also, a wider selection of items in the hardware section would be helpful since, again, the nearest hardware store, Home Depot, or Menards is 15+ miles away. For people wanting to get rid of their cans, there is a can collector to one side of the parking lot for the Scandia-Marine Lions Club. When the collector is full, the Lions bring in the cans for recycling. The money earned supports projects benefiting the local community. It's great to see local businesses supporting an organization that make a positive difference in our area.

A few things, but I decided to wait on them as the price was still a little high. I ended up making my way over to the bakery and came across the cinnamon roll morning buns which I had the next afternoon and they were still fresh and delicious. I'm a huge cinnamon roll fan and this checked all the cinnamon roll yum for me. The store was clean and bright. Lots to offer. I always like to allow myself time to look around in kowalski's because there is always just so much they offer. The gentleman who rang up my groceries was very quiet and it was like pulling teeth to get him to even say hello which is too bad as this is basic customer service skills in any job/position. However, I'd still visit this location again.

Like practically upscale fancy (for a gas station), clean and well-lit, with a decent selection of REAL food (produce, milk, eggs, etc.) in addition to the typical junk fare. I was also impressed by the tap smoothie and protein shake dispensers alongside the coffee brews and soda fountain. Bakery items were actively being discounted when we arrived, and were extremely tempting flavors like pumpkin white chocolate chip. Perhaps needless to say, we walked out with more than hubbie's cup of coffee. X'D Making your shop look nice (while staying affordable) works y'all! Honestly this trend of gas stations that TRY is refreshing; it doesn't have to feel like you're slumming it or one step above peeing on the side of the road. It's a short walk across the parking lot. I feel like there is something different about this Kowalski's location.... Seems bigger and brighter. I also love how it gives me cabin-ish vibes upon entering. My favorite section is on the right side as you walk in... the gift section and there's always so much to look at too. It can be dangerous! Thankfully I was on a time crunch this visit, and couldn't lollygag around too long. I also grabbed a few grocery items. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable when I asked where something was. When I'm in the areas again, I'll stop in for sure.

I believe the deli and food area has more options available during lunch hour than dinner hour, which make sense. At time there would be yummy samples. They also host events for us to try out new things. Take off one star was because some employee previously offer my kids with religious figures toys. It was very strange and they just randomly give the toy figures to our kids without asking parents consent. It hasn't happen for the past few visits and hopefully won't happen ever again.

Lost amidst the aisles of abundance, my spirit did begin to waver. Yet lo! There appeared a gallant youth, clad in the humble vestments of service--his name, as sung by the angels (or perhaps his nametag), was Zachary. With a smile bright as the morning sun and cheer as boundless as a spring meadow, this noble fellow did not mock my quest, strange though it was. Nay, he embraced it with mirth and honor, guiding me with great care through vineyard and produce till the chosen orb was found. Truly, Zachary is a steward of joy, a knight of customer service, and the grape--verily!--was as crunchy as mine heart did hope. Five stars, and may his smile never fade.
