I WAS HELD HOSTAGE/THREATENED/HARASSED/PUBLICLY BERATED & HUMILIATED BY THE ASSISTANT MANAGER, LEXI @ 5720 EXCELSIOR BLVD, SAINT LOUIS PARK, MN LOCATION On 07/13/2021, at roughly 12:30 PM (CST): I am told over the loudspeaker to come inside and pay when I am completed @ pump #4. I dispense 13.794 gallons of Regular Unleaded Fuel @ the cost of $41.37 into my vehicle. This takes roughly 10 minutes as the latch mechanism on the handle is clearly broken and won't allow a continuous stream of fuel. Per request, I enter the store to pay; refill my coffee mug and use the restroom. I, then approach the cashier, Tanesha, to pay for fuel/coffee refill. Tanesha tells me that my card declined. I tell her to run it again as I had just made a $50 deposit. She runs it 2 more times - same result. As I stand there frozen, I ask, "What do I do? This has never happened to me before." Then the other cashier YELLS, from across the customer-packed store; verbatim: "I already had to tell my boss about 5-6 'drive-offs' recently, I can't let THIS ONE fly." I beg them to allow me to return later that evening with payment as I have an urgent medical appointment that I am now running late for... Lexi continues to harass me at full volume about my finances and threatens to call the cops on me if I move or leave the store. Several other customers gasp and look around confused. I am CLEARLY beside myself and shocked at her accusations and threats. At this point I have provided all of my personal contact information and vehicle information. I even had Tanesha take a physical photo of me and my car. I offered collateral. Lexi continues to scream at me and threaten that she is calling the police and I must not move OR ELSE. I did all I could, within the limits/capacity/situation presented to me. Even Tanesha, the cashier, was apologizing FOR HER ASSISTANT MANAGER! She made the point: "It is sad that you are being honest, trying to fix this and this is how you get treated." I apologize for what felt like the 53rd time - explain - once again - that I have an urgent medical appointment and must leave now. I wrote down my information and walk to my vehicle. Lexi then chases after me, still screaming. I run to my car and physically depart the premises. 1:10 PM: voicemail stating, verbatim: "Hi, this is Officer Allen [inaudible] with the Saint Louis Park Police Department. Um, somebody left this number at the Holiday Gas Station in St. Louis Park and had failed to pay for the desk. If you can give me a call back so we can make arrangements for this otherwise will have to charge you with a fact so please give me a call back at 952-292-4805 thank" Once I got home, I call the store immediately and my attacker, store manager Lexi, answers the phone and refuses to provide me with the store manager's name or contact information. She starts yelling. I hang up. 07/14/2021 at 12:48 PM: ANOTHER CONFUSING VOICEMAIL FROM OFFICE ALLEN! SORRY FOR ALL OF YOUR TIME WASTED, SIR! I REFUSE to go back to that store as it is over an hours drive from where I live and NO ONE deserves to be treated like that. Let alone from an individual that you have dubbed "a management leader in serving quality service to their customers." To the REAL store manager at this location - you have my name/contact information. PLEASE, I IMPLORE YOU! If you want to discuss this further... ...get a good lawyer.

I tried to use my Cub discount, but the cashier had no clue what they were doing. I better not have lost the $.90 discount that I had.

Neither of the two cashiers were wearing masks even though they had signs posted everywhere that they were required.
