Since she had never treated my hair before, I was a little nervous that she might not be able to match the color exactly but I had confidence that she would make it look perfect! I arrived right on time for my appointment and Erica was happily waiting for me! The spa has a nice relaxing feel to it, from the décor to the music! After a few questions, she got started. I loved the products she used to color my hair as it didn't make my scalp itch like other color brands do. While the color sat on my head, I was offered water/tea/coffee. I chose to simply sit and relax and just listen to the music. After 30 minutes, she brought me over to the sink and washed my hair - my favorite part of course! It was a nice & soothing head massage!! After my hair was washed, she blew it dry and styled it for me! The color match was SPOT ON! I was so happy with it! I loved my experience so much, I booked a pedicure for the following week with Stephanie! I went for my pedicure with Stephanie a few days ago and my toes have never looked better! I go for pedicures regularly and this one was top notch! I felt pampered from the time I arrived to the time I left! They have an awesome massage chair that you just melt right into! Stephanie made sure the water was just the right temperature for my toes and after a brief soak, she started her magic I had a large assortment of magazines to read through but I chose to sit back and enjoy the treatment and the massage chair. I let Stephanie pick the color, a nice deep magenta for fall - looks awesome!! My legs felt so silky smooth! Now I need to make an appointment for a facial and a massage next!!

As we waited there was a store with a ton of minerals, CBD, drinks, towels, gifts etc for you to buy. Parking is plentiful. We came on a Sunday morning at 11am and we did a walk in. They were receptive and attentive to my requests. I booked a 60 minute private sound healing session, followed by 90 minutes of reiki. Upon entering the building, I was greeted by very kind staff members. I filled out a small amount of paperwork. I then went back with Lynn for my sound healing. Lynn was a very very nice person and I look forward to doing sound healing with her again in the future. The room was nice and peaceful and relaxing. The bed warms up if you like. She has 3 different size knee support pillows for your comfort. She has eye masks to wear. She was blankets, including weighted ones. She asks permission to do things that require touch. It's up to you. After you're done, she will tell you her findings (such as what chakra is blocked). She then led me to a tea station to have some water or tea if I like while I waited for reiki. You can have one bag of tea and they had quite an assortment and lists if they're caffeine free or how much caffeine it contains. Denise then came to grab me for my reiki session. She is a reiki master. She was also very kind. We talked a bit before getting started about me and about what she does. My session was incredible. I felt a bit emotional during the sound bath but I felt it very strongly here. I wasn't expecting it but it was good for me and a safe space to experience that. I was also drifting into sleep and not having a loud mind which is not usual for me. It was amazing. In the beginning and end she goes over what chakras are blocked and/or open. She will tell you what she saw or felt during it. And she will let you do an oracle pull. Denise also helped me with some questions I had in the gift shop. Oh. And someone else in the gift shop was super friendly too ... just didn't know their name or I can't recall it. And the gift shop itself is great. Tons of crystals, some jewelry, gummies, oils, skin care, tea, buffalo bills themed stuff, etc. I would go here weekly if I could but my budget will not allow it; I plan to go as much as I can though as it really helped me and was such a safe and welcoming space! First, I…read morewould like to say as an eyebrow artist the senior esthetician is great, she does a good job and is very personable so this review doesn't reflect the actual service but the spa. I have been going to The W Spa whenever I am in town since it was originally called The Waxing Studio, so we'll over 10 years. I am currently home and needed a waxing service so I booked my appointment. When I called to make my appointment, never once was I informed that I was being booked with a senior esthetician. Being booked with the senior esthetician means there is a price difference for brows, which should be communicated to the customer. Had I known I would've asked for someone else due to the price difference ($35 vs $28). I booked an eyebrow and a Brazilian which I've been having done for awhile. Brazilian is normally everything but for some reason they only do the front and charge you an extra $15 for the back, which is ridiculous for 4 strips of wax. Also, I've been having a Brazilian for well over 10 years and this is the first place I've been to that charges you for the back which is actually supposed to be part of a Brazilian wax. So I'm in the middle of my wax and she stopped the Brazilian after only doing the front area, when I inquired about the back she's like "oh that's an Australian". In my head I'm like wtf is an Australian but whatever I finished the wax (no mention of the price difference). After my appointment I googled what an Australian wax is and lone behold it doesn't exist. If you see the photo I included, a Brazilian is front and back. This "Australian" is a bs excuse for them to charge you extra money. Now mind you I have been living in California for four years...my esthetician charges $55 for a Brazilian, which includes front and back as it should and then $30 for a new brow and $25 for a touch up. When I went to check out, I expressed my displeasure and the person at the front desk didn't do anything in an attempt to make it right. So not only was I charged $35 for an eyebrow, I was also charged an extra $15 for an Australian. So what normally would be an $80 appointment suddenly turned into a $113 appointment. OH and the kicker is they're still using talc powder (aka baby powder) for the Brazilian/Bikini/Australian waxes despite the fact that it's known to cause cervical cancer. This is also something in the years I've been waxed that I have never had an esthetician do. They really need to look at how they do their waxing process because using talc powder is outdated. So if you've made it this far great, hopefully this makes you question if you want a service from them. I certainly won't be going back, they over charge and there is no customer service experience. There was nothing about this experience that made me want to come back or recommend them to a person I know. Shame too because they used to be a great place to go.

She has a very limited availability and they struggled to find an appointment for me but did manage to get me in after a couple of weeks at 3:00pm. They later called me to see if I could move my appointment up to the late morning, which I wasn't able to due to my job, but offered to come in at 2:30 pm instead. Wasn't a huge deal, but the receptionist sounded kind of disorganized and made the scheduling seem like more of a hassle than it needed to be. Massage day, I was greeted by Karen who was very friendly and professional. The space is very clean, calm and relaxing.... almost like you are going to a resort. The massage was just what I needed, she applied the perfect pressure and spoke a bit to me, but not the whole time so I could relax. I know I had some tightness in my shoulder and upper back, which she advised in coming in monthly to get worked out. The prices are a bit steep for me to come every month , but I might consider getting one done quarterly so I'm not so tense (two desk jobs will do that to you!) I would recommend this place for a treat your self (YOLO) day that every women (or man) deserves at least once in a while!

You could tell Jen had a lot of experience and focused on all the areas I was having issues with, giving extra attention to my sore neck and back. She used the perfect amount of pressure. There are times when I can fall asleep during a massage and other times when I don't, Jen was a great conversationalist while also keeping me relaxed whole time. Would definitely recommend her and will be booking again. Building itself was great. I was in the desert oasis which had really cool ceiling tiles that replicated stars. A nice touch!
