I have the best friends ever. Fellow Yelper Sarah D bought me an 85 minute massage for me at her go to spa, Destination Massage. She recommended Karen Roth, owner, so I asked to see her when making my appointment. She has a very limited availability and they struggled to find an appointment for me but did manage to get me in after a couple of weeks at 3:00pm. They later called me to see if I could move my appointment up to the late morning, which I wasn't able to due to my job, but offered to come in at 2:30 pm instead. Wasn't a huge deal, but the receptionist sounded kind of disorganized and made the scheduling seem like more of a hassle than it needed to be. Massage day, I was greeted by Karen who was very friendly and professional. The space is very clean, calm and relaxing.... almost like you are going to a resort. The massage was just what I needed, she applied the perfect pressure and spoke a bit to me, but not the whole time so I could relax. I know I had some tightness in my shoulder and upper back, which she advised in coming in monthly to get worked out. The prices are a bit steep for me to come every month , but I might consider getting one done quarterly so I'm not so tense (two desk jobs will do that to you!) I would recommend this place for a treat your self (YOLO) day that every women (or man) deserves at least once in a while! read more

Booked a massage with Jen last minute after seeing a special on Instagram. Been wanting to go here for a long time but just haven't made it. So glad I did! You could tell Jen had a lot of experience and focused on all the areas I was having issues with, giving extra attention to my sore neck and back. She used the perfect amount of pressure. There are times when I can fall asleep during a massage and other times when I don't, Jen was a great conversationalist while also keeping me relaxed whole time. Would definitely recommend her and will be booking again. Building itself was great. I was in the desert oasis which had really cool ceiling tiles that replicated stars. A nice touch! read more

I have had four appointments get canceled the day of and even once when I walked in the door. It has been with different therapist each time and always on a Saturday. Make sure you don't get excited to go for your massage because most likely you will need to reschedule. They will offer you a free add on for having to reschedule however it is taken out of your massage time that you are paying for not added to it. I appreciate the add on but if you could keep your appointment that I had scheduled for three weeks prior I would appreciate that more. read more

This is a REALLY great business and you ALL should give it a try. I met the owner, Karen Roth, at the Flight 3407 5K in October of 2016 or 2017 in Clarence, NY. She was giving free massages to the runners!!! I thought that was so fantastic!!! She was very personable so I decided to give her a shot!! Her business is on Main Street in Clarence, NY just past the traffic signal at Goodrich Coffee and Tea. It's in the plaza with Babycakes Cupcakery and is right next to Murphy Brown's Craft Beer Emporium. When you first walk in, you'll see items for sale, if you look to the right, there is an area for reflexology. To the left is where you pay. She currently has a big plexiglass screen there because of the virus/pandemic. Since meeting Karen at the 5K, I was seeing her regularly. She has two awesome massage rooms and a Vichy room. The Vichy room is a bit pricier but it's amazing. You lay on a surfboard and are massaged as water cascades over you. Cold stones are used on your hands and feet. There is a towel over you during the massage. That room isn't currently open because of the pandemic. (She and her coworkers ask that you wear a mask while you're laying on your back. You can take it off while you're on your stomach. Your mask would get soaked so that room wouldn't be feasible currently.) I hadn't seen her in about a year, so I was excited when she contacted me prior to her reopening, to see if I wanted an appointment. I was in the first room, which is decorated like a nighttime desert oasis. It's dark and relaxing. She currently asks that you wash your hands prior to laying down on the bed. She takes every precaution to make sure your visit is safe yet relaxing. (She was wearing a mask with a shield over it.) My appointment was supposed to be an hour but she let me up it to the longer 85 minute time. I left feeling so relaxed and happy. The other room, just past the Vichy room, is decorated like a bamboo forest. I had one massage there from one of her employees but I didn't care for it. But talk to your massage therapist before you start about what pressure you like and if you have any aches or pains that they can help you with. I didn't mention that to the other woman and she was too rough that day. They usually do personal training at Destination Massage but it isn't currently available because of state guidelines with reopening because of the coronavirus. I liked how the room had a shower that I could use after so I wasn't covered in oils on the way home. Everyone was very nice and it was easy to make appointments. As you first walk in, you first note the attention to detail in all of the design and the comfortable waiting area. The staff is incredibly accomodating and friendly and responsive to your needs. Each massage room has a unique theme that is welcoming and relaxing with heated tables for comfort. I have been using Mike as my massage therapist for a couple years now and he listens to all of my concerns and addresses them at each appointment. I have been going to Destination Massage since February of this year for neck and back issues that I have. The owner Karen, is extremely sweet. It is very obvious that she really cares for all of her customers/clients! All of the staff is always friendly and polite. I see Mike for my massages and he is by far the best massage therapist I have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable and very professional. He is always sure to ask before every session about any trouble areas that I may have and pays extra attention to those areas to get out all the knots and kinks. I recently started going there for Personal Training as well. Mike makes sure to tailor a workout to your ability and focuses on areas that you are looking to work on to get you feeling your best! Just experienced an awesome massage- vichey style- my masseuse was by far the best I've had in ages- the treatment was pure heaven- the warm water spraying over you - the lavender scrub- all to die for! I had high expectations for the vichy massage and it surpassed my expectations! I love rain and I love massages so this was perfect--it was like being massaged while laying under warm, tropical rain. Cold stones were also used on my head and feet, which felt really refreshing. After the warm room and water, I didn't even feel the 20 degree cold when I went out to my car. I have been coming to this place for the past couple of years and I will never go anywhere else! I get the best massages I've ever had AND personal training all under one roof! Mike is my massage therapist and personal trainer and he's the best! I have a gym membership but I need the extra push, to be held accountable, in order to succeed. I love this place because it is one on one training. I don't have to worry about other people watching me, or waiting for a machine, or research workout programs because he does that for me! Everyone here is always so very welcoming and it is a relaxing atmosphere. Each massage room is a different paradise theme and it's so well detailed and artistic. Karen, the always smiling owner, is always traveling to conventions to come up with new treatments and ideas. Every time I go, there is something new offered.
