I had a really great experience the first time my dog was bathed and groomed, not so much the second time. I've been debating whether to even continue using this service as I am very disappointed at how our last appointment went and lack of understanding there was with our dog. The first time we had Deanna come out and she was so caring and understanding of what his needs were but it wasn't the case with Jessica. She was indeed very kind as a person but I'm not sure what the miscommunication was with our dog's needs or why the appointment didn't go well with her. My boy Bijoux just turned 14 and while he is overall in pretty good shape, his previous groomer told me she couldn't groom him anymore because the arthritis in his hips prevented her from standing him up and moving him how she needed to to groom him. So, I bought some clippers and all the things I needed to groom him myself, and let's just say, it wasn't the same. So I came on Yelp to see if I could find another groomer and came across Jessica. She specializes in providing special attention so I thought she'd be perfect. She came to my home and did a wonderful job on my Bijoux. She actually did a better job than the previous groomer. My dog loves to get groomed and they only go here. I like getting groomed too but I have to go other places because I'm told it would be too weird. It's really important to trust your groomer they can be an asset and your dog's health not just bathing your dog they get to see and examine much closer and longer than any other service, a Dog needs. if you find a groomer you trust stick with them, there are so many horror stories about going to the groomer dropping off your dog, and coming back to pick up a different dog either psychologically, physically, or in some cases literally. This is also an independent women-owned business with much higher standards than any chain or doggie dunk. I normally don't get five stars because almost nothing's worth five stars, but my dog insisted. read more

WOW! Anyone can bathe and groom a dog, but not anyone can sooth and calm a dog like Jessica. For the first time ever our dear Portia didn't coward and have an accident before her bathing session, and Parker didn't hide nor shake like a leaf with separation anxiety. In fact, instead of hiding he went out to the run where Portia was being bathed and was part of the session. We normally had taken our fur kids to a local grooming salon under an "express" service in which they are not kenneled but rather the groomer is waiting and starts working on them right away, and 15 minutes before finishing they would call us so we would be there at the right time for pickup. Still with us dropping them off in person they would stress, and so would we. Now with the current COVID situation we would have had to do "curb side drop off and curb side pick up", which I was not comfortable with just handing my kids. Thank God we found Jessica, she sets up shop in your own home, leaves no mess behind and follows all safety precautions. When she was ready to leave, our fur kids went back to her and wagged their tails, that tells me Jessica's aura and soul are more than "pet friendly", they are truly "pet loving".
