This is our second visit to this grooming salon, and my Puggle walked right in without any fear or hesitation--unlike her usual nervousness at other places. Chelsea gave her a great bath and brush, and when she came home, there was no loose hair stuck to her. Her nails were trimmed perfectly--not too short, and they weren't sharp or cracked. The cute bandana was the perfect finishing touch. Fur Babies has definitely earned a repeat customer in Dottie!

Picked up my grand-dog for my Grand-sugar. Seems like a nice spot. Two female workers greeted me, I told them what dog I was picking up and the older one told the younger one where she was. Only issue or concern I have is that they didn't ask me any confirmation questions or for my ID. I could have been a dog stalker picking up someone else's dog ‍ They do great work though; She is always clean and nicely groomed. I also love the seasonal bows that are placed in her hair. When I dropped my dog off, the staff was very friendly. I showed them a photo of the style I normally have done on my dog, and I made it clear that I did not want his head cut any shorter, as we had been growing it out for a year. All the fur on his head was completely tangle-free and freshly brushed. They checked his hair, promised to leave the head length as-is, and I trusted that he would be in good hands. Upon pickup, I was very disappointed to see that they ignored my request and cut several inches off his head, without calling to ask/notify me first. My baby also came home with several cuts on his belly and nose that I was not made aware of when I picked him up. This has never happened to him at any other groomer, so I was pretty shocked. I understand that accidents happen, but it's disappointing that none of it was mentioned to me at all.

I drove 1 1/2 hours and found out I booked the wrong day at petsmart, so I was desperate to get my dog groomed. The ladies at the front said no problem we can fit her in. 3 hours later my dog was complete with the best haircut she has had in years and it shows from the love of the staff and maybe the treats. 10/10 recommend this place for their staff and professional. I took my dog Henry here about a month ago. He is a timid rescue dog under a year old, and this was his first time being groomed. The girl who cleaned him met him outside and made him feel more comfortable. As a protective owner, this made me feel much better. It took about two hours after dropping him off. He had a basic wash. When I picked him up, they offered to spray his mouth with some freshener. They even put a little bow tie on him. The girls working were patient and kind.

Dani has been grooming my Shi tzu for 5 years. My dog is older and does not like to be groomed, she can be a screamer at times. Dani is gentle with her and has found ways to make her more comfortable being groomed. I always feel confident that she will be well taken care when I leave her with Dani. I have recommended her to several people. My little girl always look's beautiful when she is done!!

I have been taking my Shiloh Shepherd to another groomers for a few years mostly out of routine. My dog can get pretty anxious in stressful or new situations, but I saw all the positive reviews and took a chance. I'm so glad I did, from the moment we walked in the door the women working were so friendly to me and my dog, they took time to ask questions and get a feel for what I wanted and what my dogs personality was. When I came to pick her up she was happy and looked great! The groomer Jessie did exactly what I asked and was so patient with her. I'm beyond grateful to have found a new groomer that I feel much more comfortable taking my dog to. I can't say enough nice things about this place! Thank you again!

Fur Babies is the best. They are always so friendly and our Stinky is always so excited to enter the door and see her friends! Our pup has never had any issues after her visits and she always comes home smelling fresh. They noticed she her skin allergies and switched her to a sensitive shampoo which seems to help alleviate some of her itching. She is never put in a kennel, instead they give each dog their own space to hang out in before and after their pampering. read more

never got to use it! First there were no openings. that is not necessarily bad. they are busy! Then when I tried to use them they fussed about needing paperwork to prove my dog was properly vaccinated again not really bad just not convenient but more salons should care about that! and finally I had to look for someone else. Took my puppy for grooming and the next day he had a rash. I figured it was from the shaving/trimming and it would go away. But by the second day the area was red clearly infected. $200 later at the vet for antibiotics topical and pain meds, cone. Grooming equipment must not be sanitized be careful. read more

We adopted a puppy from the town shelter and poor thing was literally covered with poop. We asked several groomer if they would see her and they refused her. We stopped by here and the owner was so kind! She couldn't see her that day because she sent home her girls working with other dogs since it was later in the day and Saturday afternoon no less, but told us come first thing Monday morning and she'll fixed up our pup right away. She got the furbaby smelling so good! We would definitely recommend the place. read more

My dogs have been going to Fur Babies since they opened. They love going for their spa day and all the employees take excellent care of them. Dani has also taken the time to have us come in to help with clipping my pit bulls nails which can be a bit difficult but with Dani doing the clipping as I love on our pup really makes a difference to get this task done. I moved here 3 years ago, and I looked through Yelp and Google to see where I could take my older dogs for a gentle grooming service. It showed quite a few people recommending Fur Babies so I brought my two boys, 11 and 15 at that time. I've been coming back to them ever since. I took my shitzu mix dog in to fur babies for the first time. The other dogs in the shop looked very happy. They asked if my dog had any special needs or issues. They called me when she was finished. My dog was happy and looked beautiful. They cut around her paws really good. They trimmed or shaved all her hair perfectly. There were no uneven spots. They left her tail long as I requested. Her nails were trimmed to perfection. She smelled great and her hair was so soft and felt like velvet. They put a cute little bandana on her. They were on time and showed love to all the doggies in there. I was impressed with Fur Babies and will be bringing my little girl back again when needed. My previous groomer went out of business, so I am so happy to have found this place. The staff was all super nice. Your doggie will be happy here. read more

I found this pet salon on Yelp and they did not disappoint. I brought my almost eight month year old Yorkiepoo here and was greeted by the friendliest staff upon arrival. My puppy was scared and the lady came up and held her, and made her feel comfortable. When I picked my pup up, she had the cutest haircut ever!! I am coming back here for every haircut!! Was worried about dropping my 1 year old pup off because she hasn't been around a lot of other dogs before or dropped off anywhere. Although she did create a little commotion barking at other dogs the staff just placed towels over her pen where she couldn't see them and she did good. She came home clean and fluffy and hapoy as could be. Will be bringing her back for some more puppy pampering in the future. read more

It's really hard to find a groomer that'll do cats so I was happy to find this place! The first time I brought my kitty here, the owner did everything to make sure he was comfortable and even called before he was done because she knew we lived a little ways out. He got a bath, nail trim, and fur trim (he's long hair). Fast forward some months, we went back a second time and the owner remembered us down to the details & was happy to see him come back. A different girl worked on him this time but she immediately took him and loved on him, making sure he was comfortable. This time we went ahead and got him a lion cut (shave) because he enjoys being outside but these summer high desert temps are intense for a long hair kitty. Once again, he seems proud of his haircut! Love this place! We will keep coming back as long as we live nearby. read more

Brought my two babies here to be groomed. We tried over priced petsmart and the cuts were not done well. But at Fur Babies Kristen did an awesome job! One of my dogs has anxiety while at the groomer but when I picked him up he was not upset or shaking like he normally is. He was very happy. They were patient with him which helped so much. I love them ! First time here and they were so nice and super sweet to my baby girl! I slept through my alarm, I called and they were so nice about it and rescheduled me for the next day. I have a Great Dane and it was her first time getting groomed so she was a little scared and Vanessa (I believe her name was) got on the floor and slowly approached her and instantly because my girls best friend! CANNOT BE HAPPIER WITH THE SERVICES PROVIDED!! I needed to groom my Persian cat for the summer. They were very welcoming and explained the process of grooming my cat. They took time with my Benny. When I came to pick him up he was in a great mood. They handled Benny with care and treated them as if he was their own pet. Take your cat here, they know what they're doing and were extremely professional and even honored my request of a mohawk. *cut is a little choppy near his chest because he was not used to the clippers and is not their fault* I will be returning back to this salon. read more

When I call to schedule my pups for a groom she greets me personally on the line and remember my pups names. She has a personal touch that you can't buy at the big money retailer groomers. Our boys (100 lbs German shepherds) needed a good bath and a good deep deshedding! Dannie was super nice and helpful! She even opened an hour early to help one of our dogs not feel so anxious! We groomed our first set of Standard Poodles for 14 years - until they stepped off the planet. When we got 2 new pups, we started by trying out 3 groomers. All were good . . . but when we requested a #15 blade for a very close shave, they refused. I think this is because they think the dogs will burn in the sun. We're with the dogs 24/7 and we would not let that happen. The super close shave buys us time. Our Poodles grow hair so fast, it is important to shave close in the summer. We found Tails of the Valley. Dawn agreed to use a #15 blade. The huge bonus was Dawn's excellent detailing. PLUS, our "tough guy" male normally shakes the entire time he's on the table. The staff (McKenzie and Dr. Choi) took him in the back, found out his intestines had tangled and died off. Samaritans Animal Hospitals amazing staff took him in for emergency surgery on the spot and was an "ALL STAR" team for Odin's care. He came out of emergency surgery pointed in the right direction. Samaritan Animal Hospital advised us to take him to Animal Emergency Clinic where they had Odin for 3 days. He almost didn't make it, but due to the care of the staff at Samaritan Animal Hospital and the staff at Animal Emergency Clinic is the only reason our puppy made it through. We will be the first to say. We put all our hope into the Samaritan Animal Hospital and Animal Emergency Clinic, where they have done nothing less of being the best choice for our animals and we will not look elsewhere. After the surgery we had to give him another set of shots, after the completion of shots. Odin looked a little lethargic again. Took him into Animal Emergency clinic, where we were then notified of our puppy catching Parvo. Emergency Animal Clinic once again got right on top of it and got him cured up and a reasonable cost. Samaritan Animal Hospital then reached out to shot manufacturer and got us reimbursed for the cost of parvo care. Our puppy is now seven month old and weighing in at seventy-five pounds. We cannot give enough thanks to these people that helped us keep our Odin alive. The staff is amazing, hardworking, honest, and have the biggest hearts. I paid $1200 for them to run labs and do numerous x-rays. They said they could not find a break or fracture and that he may have just sprained his leg. Sent him home with painkillers and joint snacks for arthritis prevention. His leg continued to swell overnight, I called in and they asked me to give it more time for the medication to begin to help. We waited another day, but he stopped eating and drinking water. He was extremely lethargic and his leg had swollen almost twice its size. We took him back in. They wanted to get more x-rays of his leg. Additional bloodwork. Another $1,200, and then I get a phone call that they noticed that there was a bite mark on his leg. They shaved his leg down and found that he had multiple bite marks on his leg and it had become infected. They had to cut his leg open on two sides, debride it and clean, and then install a drain on each side. Another $2000. They did it all within 30 minutes of them closing, and then they sent us over to the emergency clinic for overnight care. They never provided transfer paperwork, never contacted the emergency clinic. Just sent us on our way. We had no other option and again had to pay $2000 for the overnight care. In the morning, the overnight care stated that our dog needed to get evaluated because there were no signs of improvement and he was in excruciating pain. Asked us to send him back to Samaritan. Samaritan refused to see him! After spending almost $4,500, they refused to see him back. They are absolutely the worst! Not only did they miss what was actually wrong with our dog the first time around, they then refused to see him after they were the ones that provided the treatment. Thankfully, the emergency clinic called Apple Valley animal Hospital. Apple Valley animal Hospital took in our dog that very morning. They had him in for observation the rest of the day. They provided IV and antibiotics IV pain medication for our dog. Sent home additional medication to help him with the infection. They unfortunately had to do another drainage towards the bottom of his leg that Samaritan also missed. There were more cuts towards the bottom. Don't even go here if your pet needs help. They will just take your money and then refuse to actually care for your pet.

After 2 weeks of medication were over, his leg was still swollen, one of the pucture wound was still open, I send them pixtures of status of his leg and they never replied, I called back and made an appointment, they only gave a stronger dosage of antibiotics. After 4 days his leg got so swollen, to much pressure his swollen part pop, I called to let them know all they said was to soaked in warm water, 2 days later, I chexk on his leg to soak in warm water and i see like something that look likr hair in his wound, I was like how did, well I take a good close look and to my surprise it was a foxtail, I pulled it out completely. I called immediately, and complained to them that he did had a foxtail, and only for Amy or jammie, I think its the receptionist. To give me a sassy attitude about my complained already clearing off their mistake. My dog still injured and uncomfortable. If I knew I was gonna wait this long to make him feel better I wouldn't never paid $700. He began feeling uncomfortable in the beginning of April, his first visit was april 13. Almost a month. And he still has an infection, well now i know why. ..( foxtail inside the swollen part of his leg) Its not fair for our pets and us. For you guys to give a maybe diagnostic. I was told he didnt had any beside ONE on his ear. If they wouldn't said there was a lightly chance he still had one on his leg then they should've gave me stronger medication since the beginning instead of make me pay again for another check up and another medication again. I really thought, I could trust this clinic, I always go base on the ratings. I guess rating dont matter. Horrible diagnostic and horrible customer service after you have a complain.

This shop is amazing I took my 9lb maltipoo furbaby Rocko to this salon to have a hair cut and nails clipped. Apple Valley Animal Hosp recommended them because I just rescued this sweet baby, and he was so shaggy. I dropped him off and they called me when he was done. When I returned I almost did not recognize him he was beautifully clipped, his nails was perfect and he smelled so good from his bath. I am not related to the shop so I can give you an honest review. I definetly do recommend them for your pets needs. The staff is very caring and the prices are so reasonable. I can honestly say I will make this salon my new pet spa for Rocko. I have been taking my doggies to Fur Babies for several months! It was impossible to find a decent groomer here in the High Desert! After reading all the wonderful reviews, I decided to give them a try! WOW!!! They are beyond fantastic! They do a great job and treat my dogs as if they were their pets. Love and kindness is what you receive as soon as you open the door to their shop! Carlene is the groomer who takes care of my Babies! Dani is a true lover of dogs and it shows in the way she treats our furry friends; just like they were her own babies!
