90 Minute Couples, deep tissue - appointment made online one day in advance, worked perfectly - email confirmation received day of my request. Absolutely spectacular. You could have them walk back the pressure - but if you REALLY want deep tissue, this place is for you. We had Kasandra and Isabel - I would give them 10 stars if I could. Unsolicited advice for travel outside the US...if you were treated really well, and have the option - I try to plan ahead to pay with plastic and tip with cash - Cash is King! We just had 90 min massage at Holistic Spa! It was fantastic! I had a Swedish massage, i didn't get the gentleman's name, but he was great. Perfect amount of pressure. I felt completely relaxed. My husband got the deep tissue and he said it was great. He dozed off a few times..very unlike him! I would definitely recommend this place. We did a walk in and they took us in right away. But, I did see they take appointments as well. This place was a short 8 min walk from our hotel. Place was clean and everyone was very nice. The prices are great. We got 2 90 min massages for less than one 50 min massage at our resort! Don't get me wrong I love going to the spa at resorts, but we wanted to try a local spot and it did not disappoint. We are talking about going back the morning before we fly home! read more

About a third of the price of one of the frou frou hotel spas but they do a great job. Had the Swedish massage which was very relaxing and around $50 usd. Pedicures are around $30 and they helped one of our party completely remove an ingrown nail that was bothering him. read more

Hands down (no pun intended), I just had the best massage of my 42 year old life. I chose a 4-hand massage from Linda and Maria. The experience was intense and completely relieving. I'm coming back in 2 days for a repeat. The women who graced me with their work, made me feel connected and communicated with in every way I can imagine. My entire body from head to toe is buzzing so loud, that I'm still having a hard time taking it in. No more details. Get it. read more

I had a 90 minute reflexology massage with Agostin on 17 April. I have had many massages in different countries for over 30 years . I can highly recommend him. He has a great knowledge of human anatomy and reflexology pathways . It was one of the best massages I have had . It was relaxing and at the same time he released pressure from parts of my over stressed body . The Spa is easy to find in an Uber from the hotel zone . The spa is clean and all the staff are friendly . Agostin is highly recommended and I would easily see him again if I wasn't just traveling through Mexico. read more

Well, this spa totally exceeded our expectations. Our therapists Ana and Agostin were simply awesome. We took 90 mins holistic massage for myself and my wife and we were totally blewn away! We took a taxi all the way from the other side of the hotel zone and it was totally worth it. This is a solid and valuable alternative compared to the pricey spas in the resorts. read more

Staying at a resort nearby we were looking for a massage that was priced fairly! Walked over to Spa Holistic and soooo glad we did! Price was half the cost as the resort and I'm certain the service was better! Top Notch! BEST 90 minute massage with an added facial I have ever had! Highly recommend!!! This was my first visit to holistic spa, upon walking in they have a reception desk where by I was immediately graded and given a number of options for different therapy. After selecting my Swedish massage, I was kindly escorted upstairs into a very private secluded and extremely clean room. The staff was so incredibly friendly, they did an excellent job and quite honestly, at a fraction of the cost of irregular hotel. At the end I was given a nice cold cup of water and a smile, I would highly recommend this facility rather than getting an overprice massage at your hotel read more

I love getting a massage here when I visit Cancun. It's about 1/3 the price of the resorts and probably just as good or better. The best part is the free fish "pedicure" you get with every massage. They do ask for a $10 deposit but that's applied to your balance. It may look pretty plain but it's definitely one of the best massage I've ever had! I can wait to go back and get the hot stone massage. I've had the 4 hands and the deep tissue couple massage. They also have facials but I've never had the time to try those, hopefully next time! read more

I got the 60-minute massage back in January 2020 and thought it was just okay. I don't think they're classically trained but it was the cheapest massage we could find in Cancun. Cancun, in general, was an incredibly expensive city - would not recommend it. Although this place was the cheapest we could find, it's definitely on par with how much massages costs back in the U.S. Please take my review with a grain of salt because I usually get deep tissue massages every couple of weeks. If you're just here on vacation and want the cheapest massage you can find, this is your spot. The place was very nice and clean. The staff was very polite and if you're a customer, they'll wipe down your feet and let the small fishes in their tanks nibble the dead skin cells off of them for 10 minutes. It's a great experience if you've never tried it. I just didn't like that my deep tissue massage didn't really feel very "deep". It just felt like they were rubbing lotion on me but not really massaging my muscles. The language barrier was also challenging. I know this isn't a good comparison, but I had a deep tissue massage in Mexico City a couple of weeks before this, for a slightly lower price, and they got ALL of my knots out. It just goes to show your dollar doesn't go as far in Cancun. read more

Such a great find and amazing massages. My boyfriend and I came here for 1 hour deep tissue massages. We also had the fish therapy before the massage started and is always a unique experience that tickles a bit but not painful or uncomfortable. Everyone was very friendly and felt clean and safe. Linda and Maria were amazing. I had Linda and pressure was great and hit all the spots I felt needed some extra attention. Temperature in the rooms were perfect and the lights dimmed. I was so relaxed I fell asleep for a bit. We walked in and got in right away without an appt. We also drove there and found parking without a problem but it didn't look like there were many parking options around the area. I recommend Holistic Spa and Linda and Maria and hope to come back again soon! read more

Definitely a 5 star, we booked 1 day before over the phone, we were there the 2nd day 10 minutes before our appointment, we had Gloria and Maria, they were so professional and did an awesome job, the place is very clean and the price was very reasonable. Found this place through yelp and they did not disappoint! After a long day exploring Isla Mujeres, my bf and I decided to stop in for a massage. The ladies outside greeted us warmly and showed us all of their specials and deals. The prices here are WAYYYY cheaper than the rates at our resort and in the states. We got a couples 60 minute massage for $100!!!! Back in Virginia, it would've cost us around $180-$200. And the quality of the massage was 10/10. We got the Swedish and I loved the combo of smooth flowing movements mixed with strong kneading in all my tight spots. The ambiance was very relaxing and nice. Dimmed lights, serene music playing, and they even incorporated aromatherapy during the massage which was really refreshing. I believe all massages come with a complimentary fish pedicure treatment which was really cool and I've always wanted to try it! I would describe the sensation as little tiny vibrations and taps on my skin. My feet afterwards felt super soft and definitely smoother! Overall, I highly recommend coming here for a wonderful massage and definitely ask for Barbara and Suemy! They were incredibly kind and it felt like they actually knew what they were doing, not just randomly rubbing you all over! read more

My favorite spot for massages in Cancun. If you prefer deep tissue and/or are experiencing pain, Barbara is your girl! I will make it a point to see her at least one time during my visits to Cancun. Sylvia also does wonderful pedis. They have a great selection for gel, which I found other places don't. read more

If you're looking for a good massage and fish therapy near the Hotel Zone, look no farther than Holistic Spa! With affordable prices and friendly service, this is the place to go! It looks small and plain, but the massage and fish therapy you get free with a massage are so good!!! We had an appointment for 90 minute deep tissue couples massage, but when we got there, we switched to 60 minute deep tissue massage and aloe vera wraps, respectively. They were very accommodating, which we were thankful for. The service starts with the fish therapy. The staff first wipes down your feet and lower legs with alcohol, then you dip them into the fish tank where the fish start nibbling. I must have had lots of dead skin because the fish flocked to my feet and calves! I felt very ticklish at first, but by the end of the 10 minutes, I had calmed down and gotten used to it. Then, we went upstairs to the massage room. The deep tissue massage felt great! Suemy was my masseuse, and she used just the right pressure to the right spots! Linda did the aloe vera wraps on my partner, who said he really enjoyed the cooling sensation, as well as the gentle massage. Highly recommend this place for your massaging, exfoliating, soothing needs! read more

After searching for a spa in Cancun, this place had great reviews. I booked for a massage and recieved a fish pedicure as a package deal with my bff. After yelling and laughing from the fish pedicure; it did feel weird and tickling my feet but it was worth it. The massage was fantastic! Maria is the best. My wife and I went to holistic spa and it was so good we went back for a second time during our one week stay. We both did the 90-minute holistic treatment both times we had different masseuses and both were amazing massages. The holistic is a combo of lymphatic shiatsu reflexology and deep tissue massages. Highly recommend! Our technicians were Doris, Karina, Yosenia, and Emdiaro. All were excellent! I should mention there's probably four or six spas in the immediate vicinity and we tried nearly all of them over the years and this time around the holistic spa which we've enjoyed in the past really outdid them all the quality of the massage for the same price was fantastic. read more

First time at this spa and overall it was a good experience. Price was $110 for two one-hour deep tissue massages. That's the total price, not per person! All services come with a complementary fish foot treatment which entails dipping your feet into the aquarium and letting the fish eat the dead skin off. We passed on this so can't comment on that. It is located in a strip mall just around the bend at the north end of the hotel zone so it's really convenient to get to by taxi or taking the R1 or R2 bus which costs only 12 pesos. I was cold during he massage because the A/C was blowing directly onto me so the technician put an extra blanket on me but I would've preferred turning off the air instead. The pressure was very light (not deep tissue as requested) so make sure you specify your preference to your technician. This was a nice relaxing experience and you really can't beat the price but there are plenty of massage studios to choose from with comparable prices so I'll probably try another next time I am seeking a deep tissue massage. read more

Walking by we saw the 30$ deal and my body instantly felt tired and weak. The deal had fish therapy for feet included for free which was a great catch. Truth be told, the deal is 30 min full body massage. At first I was skeptical as to how good it could be since it was this cheap but I was really impressed with the turn up. By the time Masseuse was done I felt like I just got a deep tissue massage and a reflexology which was must needed after having tours for like 2 days. Over all I felt like I got a good relaxing massage and the price seems like a great deal. Definitely worth it. read more

My boyfriend and I had a couple's massage by Michelle & Rogelio. I am on my phone all the time and looking down so I am very stiff and my hands usually go numb everyday for about 3 years now. Rogelio worked on my shoulder blades and the area under it. He has loosen me up and now I can feel my fingers again. I have to admit my massage was pretty painful but in a good way and when I come back to Cancun I'll come back and look for him again. read more

I don't normally leave reviews but I just have to for my experience here because WOW. I got a 60 minute deep tissue massage with Ismelda and she did amazing. She got all the knots out and she did great on my IT band. I had a prior injury from running. It's right across the Riu Palace so you may take a taxi or bus. Anyways, the price here definitely beats the $140 massage at the resorts/hotels. read more

From the time you walk in, your person stays with you to the end and see through your spa experience. We had Abraham as our guide and were there for hydrotherapy, which I have never done. We first were directed to some of the most luxurious locker rooms I've seen and change out into their provided bathrobes and slippers. We then walked down this beautiful walkway into the hydrotherapy area. We began our experience with the sauna, which included cucumbers on eyes with a cooling rag on your head. Then came a shower. They give you 4 options, all are private showers with closing doors. I chose the one with the cold water bucket (it's literally a bucket that you stand under and pull a chain). Then came the steam room for a little over 5 minutes, followed y the cold plunge! After that freezing experience comes the massage pool, where you sit in warm water and have water jets massage you lower back. Finally came the big pool. The pool itself is pretty huge in size and has a waterfall spout you can stand under, water jets massage platforms in the pool, and water jets for your lower bag. My personal favorite was the two spouts that are shooting out water at a higher pressure as this really helped massage my neck, shoulders, and chest. Overall, I give this experience a 11/10. I definitely recommend the hydrotherapy spa experience if you're staying in Hyatt Ziva Cancun.

Whatever you could possibly want they can do it- at a pretty penny of course, but hey this is a resort so it's expected. My husband and I received couples massage which was one of the best massages I've ever had! We did the 80 minute massage and enjoyed every single minute of it. Our masseuses were kind and open to feedback on pressure. They had an add on of champagne oil which smelled amazing- hoping to try that next time! I will highly recommend this spa to everyone staying at this resort- even if not staying at this resort it's worth it to come over for the spa. The customer service is on another level- they are constantly offering drinks and asking if you need anything- We felt super relaxed. They even offer you a routine if you want- which is the order of how to use each of the amenities and for about how long you should stay in each one. I enjoyed their order very much and I can't wait to come back!!

At first, my masseuse seemed like she knew what she was doing, but things became uncomfortable once she asked me to flip onto my back. She lifted the sheet so high that I could see her face, which completely defeated the purpose of being covered. After that, there was little to no actual massage done on the front of my body. At one point, she stretched my legs in a way that exposed my private areas, and later she lowered the sheet too far and briefly exposed my breasts. For a large portion of the session, she mainly rubbed oil on my body without any real technique or pressure. There was a serious lack of professionalism throughout the experience. While there is often a misconception that Americans have endless money, we still work hard for what we earn and should be able to enjoy the fruits of our labor without feeling uncomfortable or taken advantage of. A massage should feel safe and respectful, and this did not. I would not recommend this place unless you are prepared to feel exposed and disappointed.

I was approached by Juan Carlos for a free neck massages at the pool, so I took him up on it. He seriously worked it right out. I could have kissed him. So forward to October 2019 I see Juan Carlos around the pool with his massage chair giving free 10 minute massage. So I got the 10 minute massage and just melted. So I made an appointment for 4 p.m. that day for a full body massage overlooking the sea. Hands down best massage ever. He is firm yet gentle. Thoroughly worked me into heaven. When he was done I told him "why didn't I do this the first day I got here" He said majority of his clients say that. I will seek him out the moment I get to Cancun. The spa it's self in the hotel is stunning. Being on the club level you have total access to it as well as an indoor pool. Do yourself a huge favor and stay at JW Marriott while in Cancun. You won't regret it.

The massage therapists do all the treatments, massage, facial, and pedicure. This is not something I'm used to, especially for a spa environment. I prefer to see someone that has a speciality and mastered that specialty. I got a deep tissue massage from Michel. She washed my feet and gave me the fish foot bath for free before the massage. Just before the massage she had me breathe in an aromatherapy oil and it was nice and calming. She was very sweet and her massage was amazing. The place was clean and professional. The oils she used smelled great and I liked still having it on my skin after. I usually do not like the oils at other places. Everything was perfect. I came back for a pedicure and the experience was also amazing. Better than ones I've gotten in the states. I received a facial from Linda. I chose to get the deep cleansing and she was very thorough. To be completely honest it was a bit uncomfortable at times but she cleaned out every blackhead and clogged pore. I forgot all about that when she put the soothing mask on and massaged my scalp, shoulders and feet. Boyfriend received a deep tissue massage and said his masseuse was very well trained. My facial was 70us and his deep tissue was 60$. Comparatively priced for all the massage places in the hotel zone. read more

My husband and I were skeptical initially because if the "free fish treatment". We are so happy we ventured from our hotel across the road and went. We had a couples deep tissue massage...best ever and came back a few days later for massage and pedicure. The staff is professional and so knowledgeable about the anatomy! I had my first deep tissue massage with Barbara. She was wonderful as she was able to work out many knots in my neck and upper back. She always asked if the pressure was too much or if I needed more. From the time you walk in, your person stays with you to the end and see through your spa experience. We had Abraham as our guide and were there for hydrotherapy, which I have never done. We first were directed to some of the most luxurious locker rooms I've seen and change out into their provided bathrobes and slippers. We then walked down this beautiful walkway into the hydrotherapy area. We began our experience with the sauna, which included cucumbers on eyes with a cooling rag on your head. Then came a shower. They give you 4 options, all are private showers with closing doors. I chose the one with the cold water bucket (it's literally a bucket that you stand under and pull a chain). Then came the steam room for a little over 5 minutes, followed y the cold plunge! After that freezing experience comes the massage pool, where you sit in warm water and have water jets massage you lower back. Finally came the big pool. The pool itself is pretty huge in size and has a waterfall spout you can stand under, water jets massage platforms in the pool, and water jets for your lower bag. My personal favorite was the two spouts that are shooting out water at a higher pressure as this really helped massage my neck, shoulders, and chest. Overall, I give this experience a 11/10. I definitely recommend the hydrotherapy spa experience if you're staying in Hyatt Ziva Cancun.

Right next store to my hotel, so I wouldn't get wet on the walk over. $50 USD, I'm told, plus tip and credit card service charge, should I use one. Pedicure started a bit rocky as the faucet of the sink basin wasn't working properly. My technician had to draw water from another receptacle and deliver it to the basin. On to the pedicure, she drew blood on not one, but two different toes with her cutting of nails. When scrapping my feet for dead skin, I had to prompt a stop as she scrapped a bit too much. I did count my toes to make sure I had all ten. Manicure was a bit better with technique and cutting style. About halfway through the mani, I was offered a refreshment - water, tea, or coffee. I opted for espresso an hour into my visit. Staff were okay, although they spoke little to no English for a seemingly high-end business in the Cancun hotel zone. Personally, I won't return.
