If there is someone to trust about a massage spot, it's me, so you're welcome in advance. We drove 40 minutes from Costa Mujeres after reading the great reviews of Holistic Spa Cancun. They didn't disappoint! I got one of the best massages ever by Agustin. Initially, I wanted a quick shoulder and foot rub. I wasn't in a spa day mood, but I extended the time once the massage started. For good reasons! I was in heaven. Agustin rubbed every knot out of my body. After the body massage, I got my feet washed before getting the fish pedicure, which I didn't necessarily care for but decided to do once he told me how it worked. I saw they were clean and didn't put anyone's dirty feet in the tank without sanitizing them. The fishies went to town on my feet and left feeling softer than they had ever felt after a regular pedicure. I am happy to have found this place cause I will be returning when I am back in Cancun. read more

This place has great reviews so I wanted to splurge with my daughter. We got a facial, holistic 90 min massage and an exfoliation-- it was mediocre at best. I'm not satisfied at all. Way too expensive. read more

First let me share how disappointed I am that this was stated as a 5 star by every patron because I based my decision to go there as a result. Flying in from the USA I sent them 2 emails to inquire and never got a response. So when I arrived I arranged for an uber to drive me there. The place is across from RUI hotel. Upon arrival I said I wanted a deep tissue massage. A man came to take me upstairs and said take off your belonging sand put into a box. A woman enters and said she will do the massage . I explained I had a sore area on my body and just work around it and she agreed She used way too much oil. It felt like I was swimming with oil. She moved fast like she was racing against time. She actually hurt me not once but twice. The first was in the sensitive area and the second time she pushed so hard on my foot that I screamed out in pain. I was so disappointed by the entire experience. I had such high expectations and cannot understand how this spa got a 5 star from everyone and I had a terrible experience. I hope they train their staff better. For the cost of 70 USD which is only 10 dollars more than I pay in the USA it was a very unpleasant experience. read more

Pros: hands. down. the. best. massage. I've. ever. had... my friend and I are at a resort across the street and decided to get a massage because it was a rainy day (and who doesn't love being pampered on vacation?!), plus we did an active excursion yesterday and were a little sore. we didn't have an appointment, we just walked in and were taken care of right away. My masseuse was Augustin and I literally couldn't have asked for a better experience. I got a 60 min Swedish and added on 25 extra minutes of just feet (for 90 bucks total.. can't beat that). Truly, 20 stars. 10/10. Amaaaazing. Just the right pressure, technique, and attention to detail. He got out knots I didn't even know I had. For atmosphere- clean, comfortable. Cons: Augustin did such a great job, all future massages are ruined for me and will never be as good. read more

This place gives great value. I got a body scrub, massage, and facial for $160. The facial included extractions and the massage was full body including your feet, head, and face. The whole experience lasted for 3hrs. I will definitely return when I'm in Cancun again. read more

Reasonably priced, excellent service/attention, clean, inviting and seems the more services you request, the more they lower the price! Rooms were private, clean, nicely decorated and the staff is excellent at their massages! We got massages and facials, but didn't have to change room or get dressed for facial. Made it even more relaxing. If I ever come back, this place will be my first stop! read more

The best massage I've ever gotten. I get massages once every 2 weeks and I can say this massage was the best I've ever had. Thai place is super friendly and super clean. Gloria my masseuse was fantastic. She was very professional. There is no funky business happening here so if that's what you're looking for go somewhere else. The only thing is their prices aren't up to date so I took a picture of their prices as of 2024. The place was clean, relaxing and cheaper than the hotel I was staying in. I attached the new prices to this review. I got the 90 minutes deep tissue after going all out and doing excursions everyday and partying most nights till 2am. Let me tell you I feel rejuvenated. read more

Booked online and was only able to book one person for the time slot I wanted, so I gave them a call. Booked us right away, without any problems. Had the Swedish massage by Rogelio while my husband got the deep tissue massage by Yennifer. Rogelio, was amazing! Best massage I've gotten. He knows exactly what he's doing. Also availed the free fish spa for a couple minutes prior to the massage. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Pro tip, do bring cash next time for tip, as they have a different currency exchange rate if you use your CC. read more

My wife and son are here on vacation and wanted a quality massage at a fair price. After looking at the different massage places we decided on Spa holistic and we weren't disappointed. Holistic Spa Cancun was a few blocks from my hotel. On our first full day of vacation myself and four other friends came for a day at the spa. Some had manicures, facials but I chose a 90 minutes holistic massage. Wow! What an awesome massage. The holistic is a combination of three or four different massage styles. I told Katrina my problem area and she worked it out. I was sore for two days, but it was worth it;) I highly recommend Katrina. Before the massage our feet received five minutes of fish nibbles in a tank. Our feet were thoroughly cleaned off before they went in. I must have had a lot of dead skin because those fish were all over me lol! More on me than my friend sitting next to me. It felt pretty strange and tickled at first, but once I relaxed it was fine. I can honestly say my feet were much smoother when they came out of the tank than they were when they went in. The only thing I didn't like was being charged a service fee by the spa for using my credit card. I purchased two of my friends massages plus my own and my service he was almost $20. None of the other stores in Cancun where I used my card charged me a fee. I suggest bringing cash. If you are in Cancun and want a massage don't spend all your hard-earned money on the hotel spa. This is where you need to go to relax. read more

I was looking for a spa in the hotel zone and came across Holistic Spa Cancun. I called them and was told that they had availability that day and that I can come in whenever. For massages, you have the option of a relaxing massage or a deep tissue massage and I opted for the latter. It also comes with 10 minutes of fish therapy! I had my fish therapy before my massage. This was my first time and it was definitely interesting. You'll sit intrigued, watching the fish gobble at your feet. It did get a bit ticklish as more fish came at your feet (and I'm not really ticklish), so if you're someone who's extremely ticklish then you may want to skip this. As for my massage, I found it to be decent but not spectacular. You can pay in pesos or USD. But just note that they have a slightly higher exchange rate if you opt to pay in USD. I paid in pesos with my credit card and had no issues. read more

My first time in the fish tank. Definitely a unique experience that I would recommend everyone try. The massage was average and that's not to say it was bad. Most massages I've gotten were awesome. The price was really good for a massage. Actually got a couples massage. The service was great as the ladies answered all of our questions. If you are in the area, do go and please do not skip the fish tank. read more

I took the bus from my resort to come to this place literally 10 minutes away. It is directly across from Riu Palace. I had a medium tissue massage for $45 while my husband had a deep tissue massage both for 60 minutes for $55. It also came with a 10 minute fish massage for your feet. We were in the same room for a couple massage, so it was perfect. The place was clean and people were friendly. My husband couldn't stop raving how amazing Barbara was. Augustin was also angel hands and just the relaxing massage I needed before going back home. So happy I found this place read more

No need to look any further Holistic Spa is the the best! I had a deep tissue massage, a deluxe spa pedicure and a manicure and was there for almost 3 hours. The best spa services I've ever had at a fraction of the price in the hotels. Definitely plan on a visit here during your stay. (Note: pay a little extra for the deluxe pedicure. I literally drool with my massage. We got two masseuse for my mother and I... it was last min so, I don't remember our ladies names. Yet, I wanted to make sure I wrote a review for this place where we got accommodated last min without hesitation. I do recommend you to have a reliable transportation or assure transportation since not many cabs or any pass through. Our transportation was told to pick us ip in an hour lucky he did and we where able to return to our hotel read more

This is a lovely, small spa near the Hotel Zone in Cancun. The cost was 1/3 of what my resort charged for a massage and the quality was high. The spa was clean, and the masseuse was skilled and professional. She did ask me to disrobe completely, which I was comfortable with, but I'm sure you could keep on your undergarments if that is more comfortable for you. Highly recommend. read more

This place is a gem! Discovered it via Yelp when I stayed at the Riu Cancun in 2019. Staying at the Riu Palace this week and it's the first place I went. No need to overspend on the exorbitant overhead at the resort spas. This place is wonderful. I had a 90 minute Swedish massage and it very well may have been the best massage I've ever gotten. We just had 90 min massage at Holistic Spa! It was fantastic! I had a Swedish massage, i didn't get the gentleman's name, but he was great. Perfect amount of pressure. I felt completely relaxed. My husband got the deep tissue and he said it was great. He dozed off a few times..very unlike him! I would definitely recommend this place. We did a walk in and they took us in right away. But, I did see they take appointments as well. This place was a short 8 min walk from our hotel. Place was clean and everyone was very nice. The prices are great. We got 2 90 min massages for less than one 50 min massage at our resort! Don't get me wrong I love going to the spa at resorts, but we wanted to try a local spot and it did not disappoint. My husband and I got a couples massage. He got the holistic massage and I got a hot stones massage. Karina and Michell were super professional and did an amazing job on the knots. My husband has gotten various massages and he says this has been the best one. This was my first hot stone massage and I absolutely loved it. Karina was careful about the temperature and made sure I was comfortable. The free fish therapy was fun and relaxing as well. This was a great way to end of vacation. read more

90 Minute Couples, deep tissue - appointment made online one day in advance, worked perfectly - email confirmation received day of my request. Absolutely spectacular. You could have them walk back the pressure - but if you REALLY want deep tissue, this place is for you. We had Kasandra and Isabel - I would give them 10 stars if I could. Unsolicited advice for travel outside the US...if you were treated really well, and have the option - I try to plan ahead to pay with plastic and tip with cash - Cash is King! Tip of the day: If you go in for a deep tissue, suggest having a 'safe word'! Laughing - kind of. Good luck. read more

About a third of the price of one of the frou frou hotel spas but they do a great job. Had the Swedish massage which was very relaxing and around $50 usd. Pedicures are around $30 and they helped one of our party completely remove an ingrown nail that was bothering him. read more

From the time you walk in, your person stays with you to the end and see through your spa experience. We had Abraham as our guide and were there for hydrotherapy, which I have never done. We first were directed to some of the most luxurious locker rooms I've seen and change out into their provided bathrobes and slippers. We then walked down this beautiful walkway into the hydrotherapy area. We began our experience with the sauna, which included cucumbers on eyes with a cooling rag on your head. Then came a shower. They give you 4 options, all are private showers with closing doors. I chose the one with the cold water bucket (it's literally a bucket that you stand under and pull a chain). Then came the steam room for a little over 5 minutes, followed y the cold plunge! After that freezing experience comes the massage pool, where you sit in warm water and have water jets massage you lower back. Finally came the big pool. The pool itself is pretty huge in size and has a waterfall spout you can stand under, water jets massage platforms in the pool, and water jets for your lower bag. My personal favorite was the two spouts that are shooting out water at a higher pressure as this really helped massage my neck, shoulders, and chest. Overall, I give this experience a 11/10. I definitely recommend the hydrotherapy spa experience if you're staying in Hyatt Ziva Cancun.

My husband and I received couples massage which was one of the best massages I've ever had! We did the 80 minute massage and enjoyed every single minute of it. Our masseuses were kind and open to feedback on pressure. They had an add on of champagne oil which smelled amazing- hoping to try that next time! I will highly recommend this spa to everyone staying at this resort- even if not staying at this resort it's worth it to come over for the spa. The customer service is on another level- they are constantly offering drinks and asking if you need anything- We felt super relaxed. They even offer you a routine if you want- which is the order of how to use each of the amenities and for about how long you should stay in each one. I enjoyed their order very much and I can't wait to come back!!

The concierge wrote me back saying no, it's exclusively for hotel guests. That's a bit absurd as you'd think they would want people to experience and book the resort in the future based on a memorable experience. I guess they are too exclusive for our business. Too bad.

At first, my masseuse seemed like she knew what she was doing, but things became uncomfortable once she asked me to flip onto my back. She lifted the sheet so high that I could see her face, which completely defeated the purpose of being covered. After that, there was little to no actual massage done on the front of my body. At one point, she stretched my legs in a way that exposed my private areas, and later she lowered the sheet too far and briefly exposed my breasts. For a large portion of the session, she mainly rubbed oil on my body without any real technique or pressure. There was a serious lack of professionalism throughout the experience. While there is often a misconception that Americans have endless money, we still work hard for what we earn and should be able to enjoy the fruits of our labor without feeling uncomfortable or taken advantage of. A massage should feel safe and respectful, and this did not. I would not recommend this place unless you are prepared to feel exposed and disappointed.

I was approached by Juan Carlos for a free neck massages at the pool, so I took him up on it. He seriously worked it right out. I could have kissed him. So forward to October 2019 I see Juan Carlos around the pool with his massage chair giving free 10 minute massage. So I got the 10 minute massage and just melted. So I made an appointment for 4 p.m. that day for a full body massage overlooking the sea. Hands down best massage ever. He is firm yet gentle. Thoroughly worked me into heaven. When he was done I told him "why didn't I do this the first day I got here" He said majority of his clients say that. I will seek him out the moment I get to Cancun. The spa it's self in the hotel is stunning. Being on the club level you have total access to it as well as an indoor pool. Do yourself a huge favor and stay at JW Marriott while in Cancun. You won't regret it.

I would not recommend a facial, there is a substantial amount of fragrance in the products, and there is no steam or extractions. It's not a natural type of fragrance you might find in Aesop or Aveda products. It smells more like candy. My rosacea came back with vengeance afterward. I got a pedicure, it was okay. Not worth $70. The massage therapists do all the treatments, massage, facial, and pedicure. This is not something I'm used to, especially for a spa environment. I prefer to see someone that has a speciality and mastered that specialty. There was a a lot of confidence with the massages but I could tell the different therapists I had were not "confident" in doing the other services.
