He came out to our office, measured the space and also explained in layman terms what would be required and done. After 8 bids from other licensed contractors, my company, Rok Hardware, ended up hiring United Restoration. They were the friendliest, most professional and best bid by far! We received an estimate quickly and all the documentation/insurances that our commercial business leasing office required. The best part, the job was done professionally, completed within 3 days and the project costed exactly what we were quoted, not a penny more! They knocked down some walls in our office/warehouse building, created a couple of openings to join rooms, fixed the celling to match the new open layout, and added all the finishing touches (re-textured/painted and drywalled all raw areas). I look forward to having them do a project for my home this summer. If they are good enough for PS Business Parks, they are good enough for your next project! I highly recommend them.

I called and spoke to a young man that agreed the projects I inquired about is what they do. He stated that his manager was out of the office and she would call me with in one hour. No call for the entire day. The next day I called and received a recording. I left a message stating that I had called the day before and I wanted the estimate. I waited one week being generous with the time and still no return call. Not even to say we might be too busy, we don't give a damn, nothing. So if you choose to use them, have your back up numbers ready. There is a good chance they just don't have the manpower to do the work. I find their customer service to be in the worst form.

And we are trusting idiots who gave this man the benefit of the doubt even with wrong size shower niche, poor caulking job, unlevel toilet, uneven drywall patchwork, unreliable work hours, and being late on every task until now. This man is ghosting us because we told him what he did wrong. Initially got quoted $6850 (labor only) / 2-3weeks for both bathroom and kitchen renovation. Paid him $7050 for the past 3 weeks but the kitchen and bathroom are still unfinished and unusable. Michael kept adding $200-500 for additional tasks which ended up being 57% more of what he initially quoted. He was never working full 8 hours as he promised and would skip some days of work. But we were still being patient with him since he told us his wife got pregnant and his mom passed away two weeks ago. He heavily relied on his brother and father to finish the work for him. And he would leave early on the days his family couldn't come help him. He does not cover any furniture or appliances during construction and leaves trash (including his lunch leftover) in the house. He also doesn't know how to read BOM's or instructions which made us waste a lot of time fixing his mistakes and redoing the work. Week 4, we told him how unsatisfied we were with the quality and the pace of his work. He packed his stuff and left. He doesn't respond to our texts. He doesn't pick up our calls. And hasn't fixed any of his mistakes. TLDR; Michael provided poor quality services and put us at financial risk. He agreed to fix his mistakes but now he's just ghosting us. Please hire a licensed contractor for you job so you don't lose your money.

So here ya go, I needed to get a gate built on the side fence of my house, and to have an area grated and prepped to park an RV on. I looked quite a few places and settled on Craig's List, looking for companies that were local, as well as licensed and bonded. While I have no problem hiring someone that is neither, the last time I did I got four grand worth of cracked concrete, enough said. Anyway, I found Done Right Contracting on Craig's list and gave them a call. After several calls back and forth a the owner came to my house and gave me a bid. It seemed a little bit steep: $2100 total, $1400 for grating and placing decomposed granite in my back yard and $700 to construct a gate, but I thought that since he was a licensed and bonded contractor with a long history in the field the job would be done right. WRONG!!! My first mistake was that I thought when you hired a licensed contractor that he would do the work, not so. He showed up with a 55+ year old hispanic gentleman who he quickly put to work while he "managed" the job site. Evidently this job was more than the gentleman signed up for because on the second day he failed to show up and I was told that he quit. Now, I was told, I would get a fantastic gate because the owner himself would be building it. (there are many words which I would use to describe the "gate" that he built me for $700, none of which are fantastic, nor would they be allowed to remain on Yelp! so I will let you figure it out) Anyway, upon completion I came home and saw the finished products. First I called him to ask when he would complete the parking area and was told "it's done". Looked like dirt on top of dirt, but I was told that was what decomposed granite looked like. OK, serves me right for not doing MORE research. Lets get to the $700 gate. First he left the original rotting 4x4's and simply tied into them. Then he recycled the old hardware from my original gate and used it. And, oh yeah, the gate DOES NOT open. "Well, thats because of the weight of the treated wood. Call me in about 6 weeks and Ill take a look at it". What kind of mickey-mouse outfit is this? I had to purchase wheels which I mounted to the bottom of the gate so that it would open, I had to purchase a lock to mount into the ground so that the gate would not swing forward when the wind blew. I had to call 4 times before the guy would even come back and look at it, to which he responded " look, your a long way away. I will get there when I get a chance, but you got what you paid for." Well I beg to differ, I got a piece of crap 7th grade wood shop project called a gate, built from $165 in treated lumber (much of which was discarded because he mis-cut), that would not and could not open. So, I guess what I am trying to pass along to you, the potential consumer, is that if you want to severely over-pay for a project, the quality of which your daughters girl scout troop could complete in a day, and deal with a complete imbecile who cares nothing about the quality of his work or the name of his company; well you've come to the right place! Your better off spending $17.00 for the do-it yourself book at Home Depot and hoping for the best.
