I have been a long-time customer of ForEyes - going back to the 1980s, first with the Cottman…read morelocation and then the Langhorne location. Was happy that the Feasterville location opened, as it is close to my house. I had always been happy with my experience at ForEyes as a long-time customer. Until this time. In picking out frames, Lamia continued to bring me frames that were not my style - even after I explained to her what I was looking for and showed her examples. Even worse, at one point she went out to smoke a cigarette, and came back REEKING, forcing me to be exposed to the toxic odor and chemicals coming from her. My pick up experience was even worse. An employee who had no idea what they (not sure of the gender) were doing, and made me stand there for several minutes while they just cluelessly kept typing stuff into the system - until finally an employee who knew what they were doing came up to rescue them, telling them that they could just let me go with the glasses and that they just needed to keep the paperwork. I am utterly disappointed in this year's eyeglass purchase experience, and questioning whether I will go back - which is sad, given the 40 years of me being a loyal customer of the For Eyes retail institution.

The manager Theresa was amazing, she went above and beyond to help me out in a pinch. she was able to find a frame to fit my lenses to get me by. The frame selection there was very nice. I will definitely be stopping in again when I come to visit in the summer. This time I would love to check out the doctor and buy some new glasses. Theresa I can't thank you enough for saving my trip home, you are lifesaver!!!!

I have been gong to Your Eyes Center for about 13 years. I started going to their Langhorne…read morelocation and eventually transitioned over to the Richboro location a few years ago. I am pretty diligent about keeping regular with my eye exams as my family has a history of glaucoma. Dr. Mila Batushansky is superb when it comes to eye health. She performs a very comprehensive and robust exam every single time. This includes looking at the back of my eye as well as measuring eye pressure. I was pleasantly surprised to find out years ago that her office boast state of the art technology that allows you to do that. Eventually, after having kids, I started bringing them in for exams as well. She is equally as great with kids as she is with adults. Dr. Batushansky was the first eye doctor that convinced me to try contact lenses. She was very patient with me while I tried on multiple brands during the first few months of wear until I finally found the ones I liked. They offer contact lens "training" for beginners that helped me learn how to put them in and take them out. The office is very welcoming and comfortable, although there isn't even much waiting involved as they really do keep to appointment times. The front desk staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. On many occasions they would speak to my insurance to get resolution. I also love that they offer variety of frames for every price point. To date, I've gotten multiple, including designer brands. Overall, I've recommended this office to all of my friends and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a very knowledgeable, up to date with latest technology, well-studied and well-read doctor.

So this lady was all ready for work and walking towards the door in a rush and stepped full force…read morein... I have a new puppy, oh shut up! My brothers "fat baby girl" had a litter of six. While I was in Johnstown, he caught my weak side and pawned one off on me. The pup was cute and all he did was shake, so I named him "Shivers". I asked my brother why he shook so much and he said he was cold, seeing the dogs were born and had been living in S. Carolina. Okay... He was right, the dog continued to shake and he is as happy as a clam but he still shakes from time to time. He sleeps in my bed, under the covers and jumps into my bubble bath before I do. Drain. Oh yes, we are talking about glasses and A-1 Optical. Which brings me to this... Located very near to my house, quick and convenient for emergencies, like puppies grabbing your reading glasses off the night stand and dropping them on the floor to lose a screw or to mangle the hell out of the arm. Walk right in and the owners, Barry and Janet who are always very pleasant and understanding will do the best that anyone can do to fix your glasses as soon as possible. My husband has had recent Lasik surgery and no longer wears glasses, but he has stopped into the shop many times in the past for glasses and quick repairs. I have stopped in myself numerous times, because of lens popping out of my glasses or loose arms. Nine times out of ten it is a quick fix, no charge or a very minimal charge. They have walls and walls of glass frames and sell contacts. Their optometrist has been with them for years and they seem to have a steady flow of business and repeat customers. The owner of my local garden center buys his glasses from here and the garden shop also does snow plowing in the winter, so they have worked out a barter system with A-1 free glasses equals= they will never have to shovel or plow again. That's nice! Now, to find an answer to waking up in the middle of the night to step in dog do! I rarely call him Shivers anymore, in fact he has quite a few names, "you little SOB, you little bast--d, you little"... A-1 is at the rescue for your eye care needs. They accept most insurance, are family owned with friendly service. Check them out!

I went to Pearl closer to my home since I do not live nearby. They said 1st off some people cannot wear plastic, something to do with the geometry of frames vs face and that the store I purchased from should have taken better measurements. When I called the store the woman was rude. I am just going to pay a little extra for now on. Pearl has been nothing but helpful and kind while the woman at A-1 is always experiencing a bad day. ONCE AGAIN, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
