I checked in and the person helping me was really friendly and told me about the complimentary breakfast and snacks throughout the day/night. She then showed me to my room, which was a double bed with a garden room. The room was spacious, chic, and clean, and the bed was comfortable as was the shower. The shower had a rain shower which was awesome, and the bathroom looked really new. I really enjoyed my stay, and I would stay there again!

There are NO elevators in this hotel so keep that in mind because it was built in the 1600s. I appreciated that the minifridge was empty so you can put your food in there from your outings, also the coffee machine made some good coffee! From this hotel, it is walking distance to probably everything and it was a short Uber ride to the train station. I recommend to get a canal view so you can see the boats coming by! Lastly I did forget my favorite leather jacket in the hotel after I checked out, and they were kind enough to mail it back to my home in the USofA. Thank you very much. =)

They have a "bread service" for you to choose which breads you want every morning too, life safer! A 25min walk from the beach (in the dunes!) and super close to city centre and other activities nearby. There are a lot of beach restaurants with nice food and comfortable seating nearby so there is plenty to do! Tip: rent bikes for the week, totally worth it!
