This is a beautiful gallery, even before you get to the beautiful artwork inside. Located right along the waterfront in Lahaina, the fantastic views from the deck over the ocean are art themselves. Jeff and Tani have brought together a great variety of new and established artists. They frequently host artists to meet guests, which makes collecting the works so much more special. If lucky, you can watch them work on a piece in progress. The atmosphere is low pressure, not the frantic sales pitch of so many other galleries. Jeff and Tani, and their great staff, have created the perfect art gallery, in my opinion. It is the gallery at which to appreciate the works, not to be hit up like a used car lot. This is a fabulous gallery on Front Street in Lahaina owned and operated by a really lovely couple. I live on Maui and have visited all of the art galleries on Front Street and have never made a purchase. I walked into Holle Fine Art and left after making three purchases. This gallery is different than any other gallery I have been to and I have traveled extensively throughout Europe and seen an abundance of fine art along the way. This gallery is friendly and down to earth and has none of the stuffiness you will find elsewhere. It actually feels like you are visiting a friend and just hanging out at their house, it is that welcoming. But don't be fooled by the relaxed environment. The owners have a great mix of beautiful high end art coupled with more inexpensive pieces for a smaller budget. You can actually purchase original art here for less than $300. My budget was a bit larger and I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to take home there was such a variety here. If you are on vacation and want to take home a bit of Maui this gallery is the place to go. You can easily find something beautiful to take or ship home that won't break your budget. It's fun to make a purchase at the Farmer's Markets or Swap Meet when it is open. But before you do I would encourage a trip to Holle Fine Art. The owners are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and will not push you to make a purchase. They don't have to be pushy, quite honestly, their gallery is that good. read more

went to all the art galleries in maui, all the little towns and just loved the art in this shop. Came in with my two artist kids and Emily helped us out and explained everything about every painting and all these little stories about the artist and paintings, very good service. We decided over dinner to go back and pick up a Deen Garcia piece, and the owners made us feel like VIP while we did the paperwork, such a good memory. We ended up contacting Emily and getting another painting on Koa wood and she texted us many pictures and prices right away, sent in the mail and arrived perfect!
