If you have any criminal charges pending against you, you must contact Holloway Law Group. Phil Holloway is a very well known and respected attorney; he has been on CNN, Fox, CNBC, and I have heard him discussing cases (such as OJ Simpson probation) on the radio. I've spoken with several other attorneys and even 2 judges in Cobb County, and all have volunteered that Phil is a very good attorney. His prices are reasonable; in fact, I paid a large sum to a different attorney who was passive and accomplished nothing over 6 months; for a lower cost Phil was able to get 1 felony and 3 misdemeanors reduced to a 'no contest' plea (neither guilty nor innocent) for 'disorderly conduct' that will go away after 1 year because I am a first time offender. Before you make any decisions regarding your criminal case, you really speak to Phil. You will be glad you did. He always answered my emails, returned my calls, explained the legal intricacies and he provided an excellent argument to the judge (opposed by the DA) why my plea of 'no contest' was fair (the judge agreed with Phil's argument). These 4 charges have consumed my life for more than 2 years and cost me a great deal, including my career and marriage, but once I got Phil involved things started moving and in the right direction. On May 5th, I went out to check the mail. In the box was a letter from the Cobb County Sheriff Department post marked April 30th. Since my adult child was on probation for their first dui, which had been reduced to reckless driving, I knew immediately that anything coming from the sheriff's office couldn't be good, and true to form it wasn't! It was a notice dated April 28th, 2015 that my child was in violation of their probation and that a warrant dated March 25th, 2015, over 30 days before the actual letter was mailed, had been issued. Not once during this time did their probation officer ever call to have them come in and retest, or even give them a notice that a warrant had been issued. Immediately my child called Mr. Holloway, who had successfully defended them on their first ever dui case, (having gotten it successfully reduced to reckless driving) and they told Mr. Holloway about their current problem. Mr. Holloway immediately called their probation officer and she informed him that his client's urine had trace amounts of alcohol in it and that they were in violation of their probation. Mr. Holloway then called my child and proceeded to tell them what the violation was; since they had no clue, due to the fact that the letter didn't specify, nor did the probation officer ever contact them prior to issuing the warrant to even tell them. Mr. Holloway then advised them to go and turn themself in immediately, which is what they did on May 5th, 2015. During the time my child was in the county jail Mr. Holloway did what he does best, and he went to work on the case. Within a few hours of my child turning themself in, I received a call from Mr. Holloway's very competent assistant, Lea. She graciously informed me that Mr. Holloway had managed to get my child's case on the judge's calendar for May 7th! This is simply unheard of!!! Now on the day of court, May 7th, the judge was sentencing people back to back. Apparently this was the day for hearing probation violators! I couldn't stomach it so I left the courtroom to get some air, because I was certain my child was about to have to serve time for their violation. Before I could reenter the courtroom Mr. Holloway was out in the hallway walking toward me. I couldn't determine at all by the look on his face what the outcome was, so I simply sat down and prayed. Mr. Holloway then told me that my child was free and I could pick them up in a few hours!!! He also told me that there were no changes in their liberal probation and that everything would remain the same. Once again, Mr. Holloway came through for us. While Mr. Holloway is certainly not the cheapest, trust me he is certainly the best, and he is worth every dime, because the cost to fight for freedom, well let's just say it ain't free! read more
