It's just beautiful! I just ordered yesterday and the flowers arrived today. The gentleman was so kind on the phone and answered all my questions. My aunt loves her bouquet and I have to say, the price is quite reasonable. This arrangement suites her style very nicely. I saw it on their website. You can order online, but I had questions so I ordered it on the phone with them. I don't live in Denton, but I would use Holly's every time if I did. I tried to order flowers from Hollys Garden for a friend of mine. Fifteen minutes or so later I received a from Lorraine the manager that said they could not deliver the flowers today because they "already been out to Sanger today". She wanted to know if the flowers good be delivered tomorrow? I told her that would be fine as long as the delivery was early and the flowers were not left in the sun And she was going to cancel the order. Holly's Gardens and Florist is a life saver! Today is "National Girlfriend's Day" and although i don't have a "girlfriend" (yet), these amazing flowers just brought me one step closer! I searched nearby florist shops and decided to give Holly's a try, not knowing it would be the best decision i've made in my entire flower buying career! I was greeted/welcomed immediately, showed the bouquet I was interested in online, and they began to do their magic! I tend to procrastinate, so I was pressed for time (unbeknownst to them) and needed the roses quickly! I asked how long it would take and was given a 15 minute timeframe. I waited in my car unsure if it would be done in time, but not even 5-10 minutes later my ticket to couple-hood (order) was complete! The flowers were perfect and the recipient of them thought so also! 10/10 experience and definitely recommend to anyone in need of a bouquet! You can't put a price on happiness (well.. sometimes), but the value you receive for the price is unbeatable! Not to mention the great customer service! I called on Monday to place an order for a spray for a funeral of a dear friend of our family that was being held on Thursday, so three days ahead of time. I was just informed by family member today at the funeral that the flower spray was never delivered. The florist could not give me a reason as to why this happened other than the ticket wasn't printed. To say I'm upset is an understatement. read more

Three days later, I was called (quite rudely) telling me that they don't deliver to my location. It's a Denton florist and my address is a direct suburb of Denton county but OKAY... I went in and ordered a bouquet for my Mom on the recommendation of a friend. It's a very old school operation and reminded me of old businesses from my childhood. I asked the owner to please put together something colorful and gave him my budget. The GORGEOUS bouquet was delivered to my Mom on time and in perfect condition. Holly's provided flowers for our daughters wedding this weekend. They were beautiful. Everything exceeded our expectations. I was impressed by how knowledgeable the florist was about the flowers and how comfortable he made us feel when we ordered the flowers. Everyone who heard we were using Holly's said that they did wonderful work and they were right. They were familiar with the venue we used and they knew how large the arrangements needed to be to look right. They were concerned that we got the best flowers for our budget. I didn't feel that they were trying to convince us to get more or more expensive flowers than we needed. But at the same time they made sure that my daughter got what she wanted. Ordered what seemed to be a beautiful cake arrangement. Received voicemail and email telling me they didn't do that (!) but could send an alternative. Replied to email requesting that they send an alternative. Waited on my niece's 21st birthday for confirmation of its delivery. It did not arrive. Sent another email as it was late on Saturday and the phone wasn't being answered. No response. When I called on Monday morning, they were apologetic but blamed another staff member. No responses to emails, no willingness to make up for the error, deflection of responsibility -- very disappointing and poor service. read more

Order was accepted by Holly Gardens and confirmed by phone on Wednesday and then canceled late Thursday night with no advance notice because "they were too busy". The lady who answered immediately said that price was no good and was rude. If your pricing is no good or you're not going to honor your stated prices, then take the website down. I have never been more disappointed with a florist in all years of experiences. I spent a considerable amount of money on an arrangement and it was a small, insignificant display in comparison to other florist I have used in the past in surrounding cities. The flowers were fully opened and not fresh at all, therefore, the arrangement did not last long at all. I heard about it and issued many apologies and was embarrassed. The receiving party took pictures and sent a note of to the florist and heard not a peep from them. Apparently when they are very busy, quality and service means nothing to them. I will never use them again, and I will do all I can to let others know as well. read more

I ordered online and was charged. Moments later I got a phone call stating that the arrangement I had ordered was not available. No where on the site does it say that the orders are based on availability...and it was a featured item. I was offered a "green plant" instead. When I asked if she could be more specific, she could not. They had no idea what was in stock, what I was looking at on THEIR OWN WEBSITE, and the woman on the call was snippy and rude. So sorry I used this florist. Ordered flowers for my daughter's 25th birthday - I live in Mississippi and she lives in Denton. Upgraded to the "Premium" bouquet for $89.95 - all in all over $120........ what she got and what I ordered are not even comparable. When I called he just didn't understand what my complaint was.........REALLY??? I can't believe I wasted my money...... She loved them, of course, but for the money I was very disappointed.
