The first thing you need to know is that this place is a nail or skin infection waiting to happen. They do not practice the sanitation protocols that nail technicians are supposed to (this is unfortunately true of many nail businesses around). Tools such as Dremel tips, nail files or anything with a porous surface should only be used on one client; nonporous surfaces, like metal Dremel tips and cuticle nippers, should be sanitized between clients. They do not do this. The place in not very clean, the stations the techs work at look like they haven't been cleaned well at all. All of this makes it extremely likely that you could end up with a nail infection or fungus, or worse. The next thing you should know is that they don't treat your nails and fingers gently. I repeatedly told the tech the Dremel was making my nail hurt because it was going too fast and making it hurt. More than once she stabbed me underneath the nail; one time it was so bad I screamed and jerked my hand away. It turned out I had bled a bit and it was sore for days. I know, I should have gotten up and left, but we were only halfway done and by that point I just wanted to get them finished. I will never go back. They may be less expensive than regular hair and nail salons that practice proper health and sanitation standards, but it's not worth risking your nails and your health. Fortunately I have found a place that does, with a nail tech I really like. She's very gentle, yet works quickly and accurately. She does a beautiful job. I'll pay more to go somewhere that does it right. I guarantee you, Hollywood Nails is NOT that place. Run from here fast as you can! read more

This place has never disappointed me and my nail needs!! I come here for prom and semi-formal, and I recently just got my first ever set of acrylics done here! They always make my nails look amazing :) The manager is a little crazy, but the whole staff is very kind. Prices are also pretty average (i would say). WOW - Read the reviews on this place first! The owner is rude and yells at the customers and staff. I walked in with my daughter looking to get our nails done. My first question was whether or not they had time to take us both for nails, and apparently, that is some secret code to start being rude and telling me I'm angry. What? My daughter is going on 17 and just stood there in horror. Is this guy really telling me I'm the angry one? He stood there yelling in our faces for 2-3 minutes, cutting us off every time I tried to ask or clarify anything, then started yelling that we are angry and that he doesn't want our money. Don't waste a dollar on this place. This man deserves to go broke. He is rude to customers and staff, and other reviews show that he is inappropriate with and around many customers, including children. read more

Came in for a pedicure, nail tech did amazing but everything they say is true about the manager I'm not a prude and normally laid back and love to laugh but he was so absolutely rude to EVERYONE that called on the phone and kept making jabs about all the stupid hillbillies referring to Hoosiers. Normally would laugh that off but he just kept going...we were 10 minutes late for our appointment which is not good on our part I tried to joke that it's because the closed sign was still up we didn't know they were open he said "bullshit I hate liars". The closed sign was visibly up but not the reason we were late. Either way his inappropriate comments about the "good looking" teenage girls that come in just rubbed me the wrong way. Worst pedicure and gel manicure I have ever had. Pedicure I had to ask them to cut my nails. It was just a plain pedicure no sugar rub or calus remover. And the beat up my nails by using a really ruff file left jagged edges and he was ruff with the cuticle tools. Owner rude and vulgar but thought he was funny. And to top it off for pedicure and gel manicure was charged 74.00 I almost had a heart attack. Than goodness I was just passing through town. Wish I would have read reviews before hand. read more

Been going there for years, called this morning to make appt with Kim on Tues. Owner said I would have to fly to Vietnam . I asked when she would be back he said a month. If I could make a negative review I would. Walked in wanting nails and a pedicure done with my daughter and her uncle. He asked me how long it would be and I told him I didnt know the manager said 5-10 mins at the same time. I was looking at nails and I turned around and noticed he was talking to someone on the phone and I said that and the owner put his paper down and told us we didn't have to wait we could leave and was being very rude and just told us we could leave over and over. Overall I really enjoyed getting my nails done here and had a very good experience. Haun took his time and did a very good job. I made an appointment & when I showed up at SCHEDULED time he blurts out loudly that my appointment was the previous day & I should learn to keep my appointment! When I made the appointment I SPECIFICALLY said I could not come in on the day that he alleges that I had the appointment on because I had a doctor appointment & other obligation! HORRIBLE customer service! I was waiting to get a manicure so I decided to get a polish change on my toes. While I was waiting for the guy doing my toes, I saw that my big toe nail was broken so I grabbed the nail file and quickly filed it down.....when he came back he yelled at me say don't do that again. I apologized and then asked if he was joking he yelled and said "NO". I apologized again and said that I meant no offense.....he continued to be upset and lectured me on how I should never do that....after apologizing twice I had had enough and said that's fine, you don't have to do my nails. If you enjoy listening to profanity, even in front of elderly ladies and young children, then you will love this nail salon. Derek, Lynn and Megan are so kind, professional, and have excellent skills! It is just sad that the manager, Hahn, has to push the boundaries with his emotional need for approval, tainting the atmosphere with rudeness and fowl language. His family would do well by firing him and taking over the business. He needs Jesus and some serious counseling before he drives too many customers away. She and a friend went to a different nail salon because they were out and about and not near Hollywood Nails and they wanted their nails done. When she went back to Hollywood a couple weeks later, Han, the owner/manager refused to serve her because she had went somewhere else. My daughter was appalled at how she was treated.
