On July 4th around 4:35pm I got harassed unprovoked by a tall employee of darker complexion wearing a white face mask. Now let me start off by saying I don't just leave negative reviews and a simple look at my profile will show that. I encourage the owner to review security cameras to prove the accuracy of my story. I am a person that is highly empathetic and respectful of my surroundings to the point that I usually pick up my 8lb dog when I'm near the entrance of Hollywood Production then put him back on the ground when I'm a few feet away so we can continue our walk. Yesterday I did just that. With our backs already turned walking away, this man (he was throwing out trash so I assume the Janitor?) yells at me to leave the area and goes off into a rant about how dirty it is. He screamed "there's sh*t everywhere!", so I pulled out my waste bag to show/explain to him that I always pick up and am not the cause of any problems. He proceeds to get verbally aggressive with me cursing and saying there's so many other parts of town I can walk by and to stop coming back. I tell him "okay" while walking away clearly trying to diffuse the situation as he continues to yell at me. Mind you, there are zero signs up stating dogs aren't allowed to walk on the sidewalk. Statistically, we know that when certain men single out women, it isn't an isolated incident but typically represents his normal behavioral pattern. If this employee who already demonstrated he can't regulate his emotions is comfortable enough to lash out aggressively towards a lone woman who did nothing wrong on public property, he's more than likely to have a bigger ego with someone in the same building as him. I can't imagine renting/working here on slow nights and having this individual be the one wandering the halls. Sounds like trouble in the making if there's none already. Hollywood Production needs to do better at the employees they choose to represent their company. This incident was completely uncalled for, unnecessary, and blatantly rude. read more

I have been a tenant here for almost 10yrs and I love this place. It is open 24hrs a day and 7 days a week with onsite security guard all the time. The staff here are respectful and handle any issue I may have quickly and professionally. Also, each HPC is located near shops and restaurants within walking distance and all over the building are areas to relax and unwind. I always look forward to coming into HPC. read more

I hope I'm not too late for the AirPods raffle. The building is nicer than some of the crackhouses in my old neighborhood, but not as nice as the others. Sometimes we don't have water on our floor for over a week. 30-40% of toilets don't work at all times. Plenty of fires. Elevators don't work. When a convenient walkway from the garage to the building was ordered by the city to be updated, they tore it down instead. But hey, I'm glad I have a job and all jobs have to be in a building. I honestly hope I win the AirPods! Update: for the past week, one bathroom on our floor is off limits. The door of the other one will not close. Urinals visible from the hall. Stall too. Great place to work and have my office, there's a cafe downstairs with great food, balconies to have breaks and lunch meetings. The security guards are great except one who takes his job so serious that he takes to screaming at tenants. He's very rude and began screaming at me accusing me of being homeless once when I forgot my keycard in my office. I work late and he was very offensive, and he made me wait for 4 hours for the office staff to come in to get inside my unit. I was polite to him and he started shouting at me. Just recently started working here, and the building is pretty nice. A few points: - DOG FRIENDLY building! I bring my yorkie puppy here and am so thankful because I would hate to leave him alone all day while I'm at work! We've been working with HPC for the past few weeks and we love it! The building is clean and stocked with amenities. Free, fresh ground Starbucks in the morning, free massage chairs, vending machines, and gym downstairs. There are also so many good spaces to meet & talk on the phone, from different sitting areas throughout the building to the outdoor patio which has umbrellas and plenty of seating. All the plants and beautiful landscaping make it even more inviting and warm. The staff is also really friendly and has helped us out whenever we needed anything! The location is perfect in Glendale, with tons of restaurants and places nearby to take meetings or walk outside. I would recommend HPC to anyone looking for a quality film production office with tons of amenities and value! read more

So, I used to be a tenant at HPC for a couple years. I rarely give reviews but feel that it is important to let people know what they are in for. When you walk into the lobby it is beautiful with brand new furniture, new candy and soda machines, massage chair, flat screen tv and coffee bar. It gives you the appearance that this is what your clients will see when they visit your office. However, this is probably the only floor that looks this way. I gave a tour of HPC to one of my clients. I was horrified when we visited the Basement Cafe. The bathrooms there are constantly flooding. On this particular day all of the water and sewage from the bathrooms and flowed in front of the walkway to the entrance of the Basement Cafe. We now lovingly call this the "sewage cafe." Who can eat there when your clients see sewage flooding the entryway? Many of the water dispensers are all broken. I have taken some pictures recently of the items that I have noticed and inadvertently forgot to take a picture of not one but "three" water dispensers on different floors that were "out of order." The floors are filthy (see picture) and the carpets are all "stained." Also, the couches they disperse throughout HPC can change daily. One day you can have a cute love seat with throw pillows and a side table and the next day you see a couch next to your office that looks like it should be in the trash (see picture). This couch was found outside someone's office and I felt bad for the person having to ask their clients to sit on that couch. Next, there are cockroaches. Yes, and they are so bold you actually see them during the daytime. Another great thing for your clients to see. I always tell people not to use the elevator in the parking structure. It has broken several times and people have gotten stuck in there. I noticed none of the girls in the lobby use that elevator anymore. Even they don't trust it! Never, never leave anything outside your office because it will be stolen! Some tenants I spoke to said that even HPC gets items stolen from them. Apparently, people take the art and movie posters off of the wall and they disappear. They have over sold parking passes in the structure in an effort to make more money. In the past, you could buy hourly or daily passes for your clients. Now, they don't offer that anymore so your clients/guests have to find metered parking or park two blocks away. Now, when we I pull in the parking structure there are so many cars that they have staff to double and triple park your car for you. Is there a weight limit on the parking structures? I am always worried that they are parking too many cars and the whole structure is going to cave in. Is that legal? We have also seen fights break out where the police have had to be called to remove someone from the building. Many of the staff are not very friendly. I have seen them cursing and yelling outside on the phone where they all congregate to smoke cigarettes. It is just not what you want your clients to see when they come to meet with you. read more

I've been working here for 2 years now and this place is awesome. The building is animal friendly which is great for bringing your pet to work everyday. They have parties and get together a for the whole building every holiday. The building is always clean and the staff is friendly. Even though I don't use it I hear the gym is great. There is a great outdoor space on the roof to hang and eat your lunch or to catch some zzz's. The location is great because it's just a couple blocks from the mall. There are tons of places to eat so you have many options. From the fresh popcorn every Friday to the staff, this place is all around a good workspace. read more

They have bathrooms and offices, but Managment is just the pits. Unit Rental includes parking, but they regularly allow meetings / events that force tenants to find street parking or valet. You CAN leave for lunch, but don't expect to find PARKING at your OFFICE when you return. Awful. read more

I've worked out of the Hollywood Production Center for two shows now, and it is a pleasant and clean workspace with a lovely staff of ladies. It's true that there are issues with the air conditioning, but it's more on the freezing side than the stifling heat mentioned in earlier reviews. It's in a good location with a variety of restaurants near by and easy access from the 134. The coordinators often host little get-togethers, including a taco and beer lunch at the end of summer. Fun. Overall, it's a decent place to host a production office. read more

Not to mention that the staff are nice and accommodating - from the lobby staff, security and even parking attendant. I had an office here for a few months in 2014, customer service is very weak and the standards of the building are as low as it can be. The building is old and poorly maintained so they tried to cover it up with ridiculous art work. I don't even think the other reviews are genuine. BTW they have this 60 day cancelation policy which makes no sense. So I've had just about enough of this place, my advise to you is to look for a different place in town. read more

they fixed the ac... now it works TOO well. first world problems, right? it's freaking freezing in my office even after we adjust the thermostat. but that's better than sweating and it's easily fixed by bringing a sweater to work. would give it 2 stars, but the free coffee in the lobby + balconies + free food once in a while is definitely a plus. read more

Parking continues to be a nightmare - if you leave for lunch you are almost guaranteed to be one of the 50 cars that get double-parked throughout the structure. And if you're not one of them, there will be a double-parked car blocking your exit. read more

The Hollywood Production Center is located in a prime location. Right in the heart of downtown Glendale. Very close to the Americana and there's tons of places to eat. You have gym access 24/7 and they always have a social gathering for all the tenants in the building at least once a month. The staff here are always friendly from the parking attendants, security, maintenance crew, and the receptionists. If I owned my own business, I would definitely lease an office here. read more

Recently took a tour of this place. LOTS of problems with my tour and NO WAY could I move here. 1. On arrival for my scheduled tour - the women at the desks were talking lour and telling jokes back and forth that were not very appropriate. 2. As tried to get a word in during the "joke telling" they acted like it was putting them out to show me around. 3. They were late in starting the tour. Once on the tour, the little things started to bother me. The bathrooms had a "smell" to them. The public furniture had small tears and things both along the seams and off the seams. These were little things but things that you look for when you are looking at what your guests / clients will see. They then showed me the "amenities" and the outdoor patios. The problem here - they are not accessible to the handicap people I asked them about that. They were cold and unconcerned and said "oh we don't think about them" This building is clearly not ADA (Americans with Disabilities) compliant. I then asked them about how many people with disabilities are in the building - they said "none. we usually do not rent to them" Two members of my office staff are disabled! And you do not think about that? What kind of place is this? I then asked about the OVERLY large Buddha and about other faiths / religions here. And why was it so large. They really just left it as a "take it or leave it" attitude. In short, They were late, they were not ready to show me on a tour, they had no concern about persons with disability and even said that they do not rent to people with challenges or make accommodations for people of disability to use their facilities, they push their religion on you by being there. NOT a positive experience at all! read more

Every part of the process of setting up offices here was difficult (including condescending answers back to questions, charging extra for every little thing including a door opening fee if you lock yourself out of the office...like honestly how difficult is it to find the master key set and open a door?). The desks provided by the facility are very worn down, drawers are broken or are locked shut and they're missing the key. Chairs are ragged, stained and not much cushion, and the replacement chairs provided by the facility weren't much better. IT only works 3 days a week so good luck troubleshooting their shoddy internet and phones, especially since they won't come fix the problem face to face. I would highly discourage anyone from using this facility when there's so many other companies who actually care about customer satisfaction. read more

My company has been working in the HPC building for 4 years now and we love the space. We are not a production company, we do not work in the industry at all, but they have all the utilities and services available for us to run a corporate business. We have been able to upgrade our suites as we grow in size. The employees of the building are friendly and helpful. The location of the building is great, right on Brand Blvd so plenty of restaurants around. The facility itself is very well taken care of, clean bathrooms and kitchen areas. They also offer complimentary coffee in the morning and have board rooms available for meetings. On site parking is available for a monthly fee, it's worth it though. The building manager Melissa is always helpful and kind. They also throw fun events throughout the year for the building, like 4th of July cook outs, holiday parties, networking events. There is always something fun going on to help spice up your work life. It is a truly lovely space and we have no plans on moving! read more

Really enjoyed working at HPC; was there for a year and a half, and it suited our needs perfectly. Always found them to be clean and professional; the only issue I ever had was sometimes people needed to open the gate at night for your car (if you were working nights) as the card reader was broken - but they usually came right out and never gave a problem. Stay away from this company. Hollywood Production Offices are the worst place to conduct business. They are very unprofessional and everything they promised they didn't deliver. My company is a start up company and rented a modest office in Mid-December. After being there for less than a month we were over billed on parking we didn't even take. Unfortunately that was the least of our problems. They have tenants that use the office spaces as apartments, so it's not rare that you will see some people using the common kitchen in bathrobes. Also, they have a cleaning crew for all the offices, which seems very appealing when you consider renting an office. WRONG they come in whenever they want, it doesn't matter if you have files or paperwork on your desk they will move it to where ever they want. We started missing a lot of little things from our office and not wanting to blame anyone without proof, we just asked them to stop the cleaning service. They promised they would, but nothing happened. The cleaning crew kept coming in and out like normal. Now all these things were trivial compared to what they did to us. In less than a month we had moved in, we received an email letting us know that they had rented our office. We were shocked and when I went to see what was going on I was brushed off. I had to make a fuss and later they notified me that when we weren't in the office they were showing it to potential tenants. They tried to sell us on moving to a smaller office for the same rent. After confronting the manager I was told that they had made a mistake and were in a bad position. They needed us to move. I needed to get this matter solved plus my over billing I stated earlier. They directed me to their supposed company accountant. This lady was the most unprofessional, racist person I had ever met. When I met with her she was more fascinated to see where I was from. After letting her no several times that I did not wish to talk about that. I finally saw that I would have to play her game to get anything done. I told her I was Jewish. Now this is where it got very weird. She started making big anti-Semitic jokes, they were very vulgar. When I asked to her to stop, she replied that it was okay because her friend was Jewish. I guess that's how she justified it in her head. She was also bad mouthing different companies that rent space in the office. If your a tenant there let me tell you this, the accountant made it clear that if you made a complaint it would not get addressed. After demanding to see a manager I was finally able to make a appointment. The manager was very nice and she apologized for the mistake they had made with the office. When I let her know what the accountant had said to me she let me know that she wasn't shocked. Apparently this is not the first time their accountant had done this. LONG STORY SHORT STAY AWAY STAY AWAY ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE JEWISH STAY AWAY. THIS PLACE NEEDS A MORE ADULT STAFF. read more
