It is a converted 150 year old farm building in a secluded setting with a large, enclosed, outdoor paddock for outside play, Bouncy Castles, BBQ's, Hog Roasts and football birthday parties. It is used for many events such as baby showers, children's parties, christenings, family get togethers, BBQ's, Hog Roasts. There is a £10/hour hire charge for one off bookings. The Hall may also be booked for business meetings, staff meetings, clubs and groups, with space on a weekly and monthly basis for regular groups. There is a £6.50/hour hire charge for regular hirers which is invoiced monthly or quarterly. There are regular Community events that take place at the Barn which are advertised via our website - heathvillagebarn.co.uk and Facebook page - Heath Village Barn. The steak was over cooked and under seasoned. This would be the 3rd time I've been here, the first was GREAT, second was ok, 3rd never again. 200£ bill for 4 people and nothing really was on par. (They also had extra charges on the bill for a glass of wine when we bought a bottle. So, every part of this was just no good. (They never updated the menu online so when we went, we had to try and scramble to figure out what we wanted as well as they had one vegetarian option that was horrible.) I don't know if it's under new management or new ownership, but def need to bring back the person that was running it March of 24.

The group I was…read morewith had two rooms booked and in one of the rooms the television didn't work at all - in the one that did, it was impossible to work out how the telly functioned (I know, right: surely you switch it on and choose a channel? No.), and no member of staff knew how it worked either; the plughole in the sink didn't work properly and there was a dirty towel. Oh - and none of the staff knew how the door locks worked (fyi: you pull the handle UP to lock it). While we sat at breakfast a man from another room complained that his toilet was not attached to the floor! Haha - oops. Hmm. It's a shame because the location is lovely and they're getting the food and ambience part so right. I'm intrigued as to how they got five AA stars.

After the ceremony the days just flowed. One thing that blew me away the most is that the venue actually went out and bought a new wedding cake for me after mine arrived in pieces. There is some sense of exclusivity with a bouncer at the door and over priced cocktails. Wouldn't necesarily want to spend a whole lot of time here as it is underground and the ceiling is rather low but I would definitely suggest this to anyone who is going to Cambridge and looking for a trendy place to have a few drinks.

Their choice of cocktails was good and made very well, However the decor and interior are quite dated and not suited to a cocktail bar, infact it looks very similar to the nightclub that proceeded it a few years ago. Their wasnt too much atmosphere however it was early when we arrived but it allfelt a little half hearted the bathroom was awful too. The hidden rooms as the name suggests are hard to find, just down a few steps off jesus lane. (next to pizza express) usually places that are hard to find are often worth the search and effort however this sadly wasnt the case here. It maybe much better late at night though with more people and the cheery beer goggles on.
