I started having trouble in my son's class during the second month of him attending. The teacher insisted on speaking about my son's behavior and idiosyncrasies in front of other class mates and parents. After speaking with the board about the teacher's behavior and making a surprise visit to the school in which time I found the same teacher had put my son in front of the class with his mat to humiliate him for not putting it up. The school drafted new rules and training for the teachers. My son was not the only one treated this way in the 3 to 4-year-old class. Regarding child safety on four occasions my son was sent home with bloody shirts from falling from the top of jungle jim. I would not recommend any child to attend this school with present leadership in place. My recommendations would be Noah's Ark must better operation.

She was never in daycare until she turned four and it was time for her to enter pre-school, so transition into pre-school was a but more difficult for her. The teachers and staff were so helpful, though, and my little one always speaks so highly of them. When she went for her kindergarten assessment and orientation she ranked very highly in her aptitude test, so she is definitely being adequately prepared. La Petite also uses a great online accessible program where parents can see their children's meals, check in and check outs, and sometimes pictures and video of activities throughout the day. My little one starts kindergarten next year and while we are excited about that I think we will all miss La Petite.

Having moved back to my hometown I wasn't ready to jump right in and join my parents old country club.......plus at $10K+ joining fee and $400 per month just to swim in a country club pool I was like.........uh............no thank you. Plus, my apartment building doesn't have a pool, so I do enjoy a dip a few times a week to relax and get a little vitamin D. The JCC does just that starting from Memorial Day to Labor Day for just a little over $200. With plenty of lounge chairs and grills to cook out, plus a nice sized changing/bathroom/shower room/locker room it has want I needed at the right price. It appears from the few times I have been there so far to be mostly family with kids...........which is fine as I see pools a lot like gyms.......NOT the place to try and meet single people of the opposite sex but to do only what you came there to do............and for me that is soak up the sun. Our two children attended here for a few years. The curriculum was good and they started with some…read moregreat teachers. As time passed and leadership and owners became more and more involved, it seemed to really change the dynamics. The staff turnover was very high with these dynamics. Students were lucky to have the same teacher for an entire school year. The owners were more concerned with the ritual cleaning (done by the teachers) rather than engaging the students in creative art projects, as these may cause a mess. Teachers would often have to stick kids in front of the TV in order to complete their extensive list of chores so they could leave without being reprimanded or have overtime. The teachers were remarkable considering they were doing all the housekeeping too. Even as the owners continued to raise tuition year after year, the service continued to go downhill with more and more frivolous demands on the teachers. They never hired a cleaning service to help ease the burden on teachers and allow them to prepare children for elementary school. The teachers really do a great job considering what they have to put up with on a daily basis from the director and owners. They can only endure it for so long, which is why the turnover is so high. With more insight and direction from the franchise and stronger leadership, this program could thrive again. Just need to refocus on the children and working on teacher retention.

During the last month of the training, a medical emergency happened and we had to stop coming. We were told that after the three months, auto pay would stop and it would be up to us to pay monthly to continue. We decided not to continue because of the medical emergency and we canceled our membership. To our surprise, the payments did not stop. It auto renewed for 3 more months and charged us another $720. After multiple calls and txts to the fitness manager, and other staff, nothing. Very frustrating and disappointing. We were hoping to come back after surgery and continue personal training but it doesn't look like we will. I'm still waiting for a response and will post if they decide to help us.
