That's an $88 order before any delivery or service fees are added. Abbey's Creations failed to provide me with any of the items that I ordered. First of all : The cake that I ordered was not in stock. Store policy is apparently not to remove an out of stock item from the menu but to call me after the order has been submitted and accepted (therefore Doordash does not give me my money back if I cancel) and tell me that my only option is to accept a different cake. I would not have submitted the order if I knew the original cake wasn't available. Secondly: they failed to include the three tubs of ice cream that I ordered and paid for in the delivery. So now I have zero tubs of ice cream and a cake that I did not want to begin with. Their only option for recompense is store credit at a place that I never want to have anything to do with again. Plus the credit is only for the ice cream that they failed to deliver and not for the cake in a flavour that they forced me into buying.

They have a very traditional menu with some seasonal flavours that change every month or month and a half. Their waffle cone is made by them and it's very tasteful. It's a dog-friendly and family-oriented shop. In summer, the line is very long and you might have to wait for a few minutes. They have a patio where you can chill and have your ice cream with friends, family or by yourself. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The good thing is that they open till late in summer.

Don't come across that much these days! - Double scoop ($7.00) - we decided to try the strawberry milk tea (vegan) and North 49 honeyberry. The milk tea could have been more prominent but we liked the unique flavour combination. Honeyberry was okay but I thought it was too light/subtle. There's something about VIC's texture that leaves me wanting more. 3.5 stars.

More recently, I realized they offer soft served dipped in chocolate which I think is also Valrhona's but I've not confirmed and OMG its SO GOOD. I tried their north 49 honeyberry flavor (always flavors) and their matcha lemon cookie flavor (seasonal flavor). I really liked the north 49 honeyberry flavor because of the slight tartness of the ice cream. I also don't like my ice cream too overbearingly sweet so north 49 honeyberry flavor was a good choice for me. The matcha lemon cookie was a solid optional too for a seasonal flavor. I'm a sucker for matcha flavor and the lemon cookie complemented the matcha well. The lemon cookie also added nice contrasts in texture too. The ambiance is nice too, I like the open space and greenery. I feel like the thorough menu description beforehand was a good touch so I felt very confident in what I wanted when ordering since the descriptions for flavors were so detailed. Would recommend trying Village Ice Cream and there are several locations throughout Calgary!
