"No church is perfect". I hear this a great deal. Of course , as long as human beings including…read moremyself are in it. However, you should expect to at the very least see examples in leadership and there were only a few. The Senior Pastor 's wife and the Senior Worship team's leader wife are not such examples. After three years at this church I never saw them bow down at the altar except when Anne Graham Lotz showed up. I started to wonder - " this is supposed to be an example unto the flock"? They were more interested in pretending they are of Anne's ilk (as it relates to fame and money ) but don't hold a candle to her when it comes to glorifying Christ in spirit and truth . That clearly doesnt matter to them . They believe they are above GOD's people instead of serving them. ZERO HUMILITY. Then I watch the Senior Worship Leader and the " elder " with the "white sneakers" roll their eyes on the pulpit when speaking about the President . They do this in front of the entire congregation as if people arent watching . I thought we weren't supposed to speak evil of the ruler of our people . Are they above Paul the Apostle ? Hmmm - they are examples ? I had to listen to these long slogans about how they were going to win a billion souls to GOD ( it was really just a catchy tune to promote their Senior Worship leader and choir ). I highly doubt GOD told them - " Hey get me a billion souls ! " but the Lord can use anyone to accomplish his purposes - including a jack ass. Lastly they want the gifts of the spirit and when someone finally prophesies -they get hushed by another congregant - while all the senior leaders allowed it instead of issuing correction from the pulpit because they are all sleeping. Now the lady doesn't come to the church anymore. She wised up like me. May GOD purge this church . They are too busy placating people instead of correcting exhorting and admonishing with all sound doctrine . Maybe they are afraid less people will come to the church. They dont want to pay the cost to please GOD. They don't want to purge the evil, the backbiting, and the disobedience of certain elders. Pastor talks about " witches " coming to the church - He might want to start addressing the evil in the eldership - because judgment begins in the house of the LORD.

After some tests and bloodwork I walked over to explore a bit and take in the scenery. It was open mid - afternoon. I enjoyed some peace and quiet as I sat in a pew and reflected on things. I'm not an overly religious person but this helped me sort things out a bit.

The priests like father Eric is charismatic and funny. Even if you can't make it to church, they also do a livestream. The mass on Sunday's are on 10am, 12pm(Spanish) and 5pm. It's very convenient too! The choir has many positivity and love towards the music since they are professional singers. That shows how much passion they have for the church, god and the community. They are also LGBTQ+ friendly too which is also great! The church made me feel motivated about the faith itself and I definitely recommend coming here!

The interior is just as impressive as the exterior. We spent time moving through the space, taking in the soaring ceilings, detailed stonework, stained glass windows, and rows of arches that create a beautiful setting drawing attention in every direction. We found ourselves spending more time walking through the cathedral than we originally expected because there were so many architectural details and smaller chapels to admire. Even without visiting for religious reasons, the artistry and design made the stop feel intentional rather than just a quick look inside. Despite welcoming a large number of visitors each day, the cathedral still maintains a peaceful atmosphere. People naturally speak more quietly, and it never felt overly chaotic during our visit. The alter has been brought down to the center of the beautiful historic building. The parishioners sit in a semi circle around the alter. The priests and chorus are behind. I was on the side today but felt included. The mass is modern and prayers for everything and everyone. If you want something/someone included during mass you just fill out a paper and let them know. The mass is simple. The responses are sung. I enjoy the chorus. My friend is in the chorus. In fact my family has attended this church in the past. I've got a lot of musicians in my family that made their living playing orchestra in the shows. But that's another story! The church design and decor are so beautiful. There are a lot of angels painted on the the walls. They do not mind picture taking. I'll go back for service and take pictures of the Angels I'm sure!! I see people of every age, elderly, middle age, people in work uniforms, small children, college age, teens and expectant mothers. You name it everyone is covered. They have plenty of room for strollers to be wheeled in the back. Parents walk and rock to quiet babies during service. I find their dedication to attend mass inspiring. Dress is not important. I saw one girl in zebra print work out pants. What I'm trying to say is, this is not an elitist church like some I attend. It's not a wealthy Parrish I'm sure. It is dubbed as the "Actor's Chapel" for its endorsement of the actors in the nearby broadway theaters and of the performing arts in general. With exception to the European pastor, I have always been impressed with the pastors here as they have been entertaining, witty, and very lively during their sermons. The place may look small from the outside but easily fits a solid crowd of perhaps 200-300. Their choir is decent, but don't appear all that frequently. Whats certain for sure is they definitely have money as their song pamplets are printed out the DAY of, in color, with legible fonts, and a decent layout. I hope they recycle because that stuff is by no means cheap. Beats using a cheap ol psalms book I suppose.

Plus, he always looks how much money we put in for the mass collection and even times, he upsets people when he is pushy and pressures people to do his way of something when operating the mass. The music is disappointing because the woman who sings there, doesn't put her heart into the songs. She was the only one that sings with the pianist. A lot of people I knew who were in that community and myself had to turn away from this church ever since Ato operates the church weirdly. Even there is one time, I came to mass and there's only 4 people left. Where there's no music, no positivity and all. Ato said something offensive that triggers me when he preaches and the prayers is very different compare to the original prayers that we normally pray. I felt so lost and everything wasn't aligned.
