Choosing Homa Molayem is one of the worst decisions I have made. The way my case was handled, I can't tell that she had been practicing this area of law for over 30 years. I should have known I was in trouble when I had spoken to several different staff members before I actually met her. Icing on the cake is when I walked in her office to meet her and she was constantly yelling across the room and the staff seemed genuinely scared. Reminded me of the movie, "The Devil Wears Prada". If you ask questions about your case or why they weren't requesting certain things from others ahead of time or months prior, she makes you feel like you are bothering them. My accident put me in a serious financial bind, so when I needed help, she said and I quote, "since you're so desperate for money, maybe we should go ahead and settle your case" (I have the voicemail message). To this day, I am shocked! Very demeaning, unprofessional and didn't care about me as her client at this point. When I asked her about this statement and what that meant for my case, she said, "sweetheart maybe I chose the wrong words. In all my years of practice, no client has every needed money from another source, so that's why I made that statement". Really? Due to my questioning her about this and issues prior about delays, I felt she had a vindictive type personality and that she'd offer fake help and case closed to no benefit to me, her client.
