I booked a cleaner through Homeaglow and allowed her into my home. During the appointment, she repeatedly left the house to smoke and then stole from my wallet. I had to call the police. What makes this completely unacceptable is that Homeaglow still charged me for the service. Homeaglow's own policies state that customers can report theft within 30 days and, with the required documentation and police report, may be eligible for compensation under their Theft and Damage Policy -- up to 3× the cost of the cleaning or the value of the claim, whichever is lower. Their satisfaction policy also addresses situations where a cleaner does not remain for the full time booked. So despite having policies specifically addressing theft and incomplete services, I was still charged after a cleaner sent through their platform stole from me and police had to be called. DO NOT give this company access to your home. You are trusting them to put someone in your personal space, around your belongings and valuables. When that trust is violated, the company should be protecting the customer -- not continuing to charge them. I would never use Homeaglow again. Save yourself the risk and use literally anyone else. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Avoid this cleaning company at all costs. Their cleaner broke my brand new bidet/toilet, then denied causing the damage. Since then, the company has refused to take responsibility and continues to demand "evidence" that their cleaner caused it. Even though no one else had been in my home or used the toilet. I specifically checked the brand new bidet immediately after the cleaner rushed out because it had just been installed, and that's when I discovered it was damaged. To make matters worse, there is no customer service phone number and no live representative to speak with. Everything is handled through messages, making it nearly impossible to resolve legitimate issues. As if that wasn't enough, the cleaner scheduled for my next appointment was a complete no-show. This company charges a membership fee but fails to provide reliable service, damages customers' property, and refuses to be accountable. Weeks later, they still have not reimbursed me or taken responsibility for the damage their cleaner caused. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I was charged almost $200 for 3 hours of cleaning by 2 cleaners and it was a complete rip off. I made the mistake of trying to get out of their way and leaving them alone. I'm pretty sure they cleaned one of my sinks and LEFT after I did, they did absolutely nothing. I asked for focus on the kitchen and bathrooms because the unit is currently empty, I come back and there is still dust and soap scum in the bathrooms, the stove is still dirty. Misleading Membership and Hidden Fees I booked a cleaning through Homeaglow thinking it was a one-time service for a bedroom and 3 bathrooms. The cleaner, was polite, however the cleaning was just okay. It was fine for a single session at the discounted price, but not something I wanted to continue. Afterward, I discovered I had been automatically enrolled in a monthly membership I never knowingly agreed to. When I tried to cancel, I was told there's an $181.50 early termination fee--a number never disclosed upfront. Homeaglow Terms says this fee is the "difference between the discounted and standard rate," but the actual dollar amount was hidden until after booking. Customers deserve clear, honest pricing--not surprise fees never disclosed. When I tried to resolved with them, they said they would give me 10% off for teh life of teh membership. Umm - if I did nto like teh service why h=should I be held to it, This shold be like a return. What looked like an affordable, one-time cleaning turned into an expensive membership commitment. I signed up for Homeaglow through their website (https://try.homeaglow.com) thinking it was a great deal: $19 for the first home cleaning, then $49.99/month for 6 months. But if you cancel early, they charge over $117 for that first cleaning as a "penalty." But here's what actually happened: Cleaner #1: Showed up 2hrs late, did a half-done job, and left my dishes completely disgustingly dirty, as if she had just done a quick rise with no scrubbing! At first glance my house looked great and i left her a great review. It wasn't until I needed to grab a dish that I noticed the disgustingness! Cleaner #2: Cancelled last minute. Cleaner #3: Was assigned as a replacement--but NEVER showed up. Cleaner #4: Did a great job (finally!), so I rebooked her. Cleaner #5: The one I rebooked had to cancel reasonably, but the company sent a replacement... who also NEVER showed up. Cleaners 6 and 7: Also canceled!! In total, I received only one proper cleaning in several months. Yet they continued to charge me $50/month--and when I asked to cancel, they had the audacity to tell me I'd still be charged $117 if I canceled before the 6-month contract ended. I wasn't asking for a refund or special treatments. I was reasonably asking to cancel without penalty due to their inability to provide the quality service they promised. Do NOT use this company!! My elderly mom got ripped off! She saw their commercial and some how got a hold of them, even though they don't have a listed phone number to call. She ended up signing up for their monthly service. The first month she was charged over $100 (assuming that was for the "first cleaning") and then charged $49.99 for the remaining months. An employee (Rodney) showed up the first time and maybe one other time. Then randomly, another guy shows up (Kyle) and starts cleaning the house with no explanation of what happened to Rodney and why he was there instead. Honestly, I wasn't convinced he was even an employee. Kyle then starts telling my mom, he needs $100 cash at the time of each service, even though she's still paying the monthly membership! She starts telling me about this and how he moves items from one dresser to another, and sob stories about him living out of his car, he has no money, etc. I finally start really looking into the company. This is when I find out there's no phone number for anything. Customer service, employee verification, membership questions...nothing! We go to cancel the membership and they state online, they're going to charge her $192 to cover the first cleaning!? This company is a fricken joke.
