I agree with the prior ONE star I saw for their Customer Service which does not exist. When ordering ONE unit, and requesting order clarification repeatedly, via phone messages and emails, I was repeatedly ignored. I made numerous normal requests for photometric information - completely ignored. Instead, we were charged for useless additional materials which we had NO intention of ordering. In attempting to get a refund the company ignores you completely. Buy elsewhere. These people will ignore you if it has a thing to do with refund and returns, in my experience. If the company assumes because they work out of "Utah" that ignorance can be repeatedly feined, or assumed that they are "LDS" making them more reputable, guess again. Sorry to say this, but it is true. The majority of individuals I worked with have not treated me in the manner this company has. Integrity follows Behavior. So I send the broken light back and wait for almost 2 months with no contact or replacement sent. I emailed the company again on 1/23/24 and received an email back saying the product was already shipped - the date of shipment was 1/24/24 - but they made i sound like it had already been shipped. It only shipped because I emailed them. NEVER EVER buying anything from this company again - warning to future buyers - STAY AWAY. Order 3 outdoor solar lights from home and lighting in July, 2021. 2 have failed. Patrick at Home and Lightning advised out of warranty. Failed just a couple of days after 1 year of order. Home and Lighting ads show lights are durable for 5 years. Does not appear to be the case. Home and Lighting offered a discount on smaller Watt lights. BUYERS BEWARE!!! This business has only 1 customer service representative which handles pretty much all their calls. So speaking to someone else is almost impossible especially if there is an issue with your order. Even their online live chat was no help. The complete disrespect by Customer service representative Patrick was unwarranted and completely caught me off guard. NO ONE SHOULD EVER BE TREATED IN THAT MANNER!! I requested to speak to his supervisor and was given a " we don't have one available " response. How does a company run a business without any supervision of their employees? His lack of professionalism was disturbing and it prompted me to want to file a complaint with corporate. Shockingly they have no corporate office contact number nor email and there was no way of reporting the incident. After i was forced to defend myself Patrick hung up the phone on me. I then reached out through their official website and live chatted with Customer service representative Ralph. I explained the situation and asked for information on how to file a complaint against Patrick and i was blocked. Also, what's on their official website is not accurate, it's misinformation. If you have a change of heart about your purchase, you do not get a full refund. In fact they charge you 20% as a restocking fee on top of the return shipping fee even if you never opened the merchandise, which is robbery. The lights come with no brackets and you really have to comb through their website to find that information. I guess they expect you to gorilla glue the lights onto your property. they were out of a light I ordered so I was offered another light in its place which I obliged to take.
