The carpeting was fine. We made it clear that installers would need to move furniture. The first installer came by himself and said he couldn't do it. The next day three men arrived and the final job with the carpet was fine. But the owner (Home Base subs this work) was rude and told us we were lucky he was willing to do it, that most installers would take one look at the three rooms and leave. We made it clear that when it was time to move the antique 1770s tall clock that the owner would move the works. The boss went ahead and moved it, severely damaging the works. A local was finally able to repair it, but Home Base said they would not pay the cost because the work was not done on a company letterhead as a receipt. So the cost was ours. We have spent close to $9,000 here, but never again. read more

Over the years, we have had these fine people do several jobs for us. They are a delight to deal with. Very professional. They do what they say they will on time. Top quality work. We would heartily recommend them for all the jobs they do. Besides, they are very nice people. read more

Due to shoddy workmanship when installing a new floor in our downstairs office our family room and bedroom suffered about 2,000 dollars in water damage. Installer had managed to nail 10 holes into our copper piping causing flooding downstairs. Our insurance covered replacement cost and the drying and mildew removal but not the cost of the plumbing work. Despite the fact that the damage was 100% the fault of Home Base they have refused to pay the plumbing bill. I will now be paying that bill and will take Home Base to Small Claims Court. I would advise anyone to not hire this company as they do not stand by their work. read more

As far as the products and installation, 5 stars. As far as getting someone to call you back, 1 star. I have repeatedly called and they NEVER call you back. Must be they put the smaller jobs lower on the list. After spending thousands of dollars with this company. Very FRUSTRATING!!!!! Called another home improvement company and they called back and showed up the next day. Be prepared to be ignored. read more

I was greeted by an employee on the sales floor and asked if I needed help finding anything. The rake was at the front of the store so I was able to find it quickly and on my own. I decided to also pick up a metal screen of sorts for my bathtub in hopes it'll collect some of my hair that never seems to stop shedding, particularly in the shower. Nothing makes me want to puke more than cleaning that drain. Here's where the sales employee was great. He knew exactly what I wanted and led me right to it. They had a couple options, too. This is a relatively tiny store but apparently with decent options. There was a bit of a hold up at the register but I wasn't in a hurry. If you're in Fredonia and need something for a project, a drain, or a rake, chances are you can find it at Valu Home Center.

We tried to get it to work, but could not get water out of the 14 foot deep pipe. (It was clogged with sediment.) I contacted Caster Drilling via email on a Tuesday morning and was hoping to get a response by the following week. I was wrong. Trent, the owner himself, responded back 4 hours later. He came over that same evening to assess the situation. He was extremely knowledgeable and did not make unnecessary recommendations. The next morning I had a quote, that was very reasonable. I accepted the offer on Wednesday. Friday, he brought in the equipment, drilled the well, ran the line to the house, wired it in, and setup the expansion tank with a 1 inch PEX outlet. I have NEVER had such clean and clear water in my life. The quality of workmanship and the quality of the well is first class. I cannot thank him enough for what he has done. We had a positive first meeting with Tammy and her team back in January to purchase cabinets and granite, but that's where things stopped. Despite our emails and calls, we could never get an update about pricing, scheduling, product availability, etc. Two months later, and we still have no idea where things stand. At the beginning of November 2022, flooding caused by heavy storms, overflowed a drainage ditch adjacent to my property, and caused damage that was not fixable. My house had to be lifted into the air and a whole new poured foundation and crawlspace installed. Fadale Enterprises assured me that the products/services could still be applied to the new poured concrete crawlspace. On multiple occasions, I was told they needed to be involved during the entire new foundation and crawlspace install process to make sure their products were installed properly. I live in Pittsburgh and trusted they would oversee this. Fadale Enterprises never installed or appeared on site to install the Sump Basin and Tile Drain like they had stated they would as "the company needs to see a project through from start to finish to control everything". That did not happen. The owner of the foundation company I hired had to drive to Fadale Enterprises to pick up the Sump Basin and Tile Drains to install them himself. The only items ever provided by Fadale Enterprises that are on-site at my property are: 1. Sump Basin 2. Tile Drain and Fittings These costs are listed as the first 6 items on their quote and they are below: $168 $48 $36 $32 $18 $112 Total: $414 of actual product is at my property. No labor by Fadale Enterprises has ever been performed. No other items have ever been delivered and/or installed at my property. So Fadale Enterprises never encapsulated my crawlspace, but kept my money. . After several failed attempts asking Fadale Enterprises that I be refunded for items that were never delivered to my property nor installed at my property, as well as no labor ever performed at my property by Fadale Enterprises, they have yet to return my $6756.

We'd asked that the old pipes be removed and replaced. the technician didn't want to go under the ample crawl space to do it, so instead jerry-rigged the pipes under the new sink. Yeah, the water pool & pipe leaks in my new cabinetry sure show what a great job that turned out to be. Seems there was also supposed to be a return to address the low water pressure which as of several days later never happened. While the non-locals will rave about their service, there's a reason why the locals don't provide the same raves. Value for their charges isn't there.
