Answer: The Shameful Tiki room, tried to call, rookie mistake then followed instructions and emailed them. As a hopeful walk in they were very gracious and seated us within the estimated 1/2 hour. Total Tiki immersion enjoying vibe and ambience. Poo Poo platter was a no brainer and Mai Tai night yes please. Thanks for the unexpected adventure to TikiLand.immersion.

Also, it's a good idea to come after a hearty meal to fully appreciate the alcohol. As you step into this bar from the bustling streets of Vancouver, you're instantly transported to a humid, tropical paradise. The theme is all around you, and you're suddenly in Hawaii, ready to order a mai tai. We began with the mystery bowl, and each bowl comes with its own unique song and flair, making it a fun experience. Whether it's the fire, the smoke show, or the lights flashing in the background as everyone turns to see what you've ordered, it's all part of the show. Besides the bowls, be sure to order your own drinks, as they have something for everyone. Their menu is easy to read, so you can already picture the drink you're about to enjoy. Overall, this is a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion with their whimsical drinks.

Even though many of my friends are scared of this place, I think it's a great place to chat over a beer. There are some sketchy-looking customers once in a while, but to be honest I feel it adds to the culture. Never seen a fight or argument in the dozen or so times I've been here, so it's really nothing to worry about. The beer (usually we just have Canadian) is decently priced, and the servers are always friendly. There's a pool table in the middle if you want to mix things up, and TVs showing hockey and poker. Word on the street is that this place used to be a strip club, and the layout seems to somewhat confirm that. You can guess where the stage used to be. I've never had the food here but it looks cheap, and I can't imagine it being crappy. Mental note: come here FOR dinner, not AFTER dinner. Another neat perk is that occasionally they'll have a DJ who takes requests. It's nothing special, but I do enjoy listening to my favourite tunes once in a while, especially since nobody else seems to submit any requests! Another friendly neighbourhood pub~
