The enterence is the backside of the garage, in the backyard. Once you see the prices, you won't even care. For what I bought, his prices are the same as preshipping costs of the biggest online homebrew store. Getting it today and not paying shipping? Huge plus. He was extremely knowledgeable too. I've been brewing for over 10 years, and I learned about a years worth of knowledge in 20 minutes there. He was also VERY helpful. I wanted to try and clone a seasonal beer at Blind Tiger, and he texted the master brewer to find out what base extract to use! I was dead set on using a "wrong" extract, so the sale was going to happen. He truly cares about his customers and the hobby.

However when I drove up everything is well advertised and I was directed exactly where to go. The shop is in his garage and upon entering I was kindly greeted by the shop keeper! He was very friendly while being professional and clearly very knowledgeable about everything home brewing. He has a wide selection of yeasts and I suspect just about any piece of equipment you'd need for beers, wines, even liquor distilling. I was going in for some mead supplies myself but now I suspect Ill try my hand at beer brewing. -side note his prices are great and he accepts card!

We were wondering if they forgot to put the order in or something. Once it came out, the chili cheese tots were just tots. The bartender was kind and fixed it right away. Once all our food came out, it was delicious. The burger was a basic smash burger and paired well with the cream ale I also ordered. Queen Anne's was almost like a chocolate covered cherry. It was super rich and had a great depth of flavor! My partner thoroughly enjoyed the Coffee Porter, which was also very full bodied. Soul warming drinks on a not so warm day. We sat at the bar and the service was friendly. The bar tender was chatting with a few regulars. Plenty of angled street parking all along the strip. First of all, looking at my last review I realized that the Rad AF was the first IPA I really fell in love with and really changed the way I viewed IPAs in general - now they are my primary beer of choice which would have shocked 2019 Sarah to hear. The things I said in my last review still ring true as the beer at City Barrell anywhere you get it whether it's in the taproom or at the liquor store is pricey. The difference now is that everything everywhere is pricey and I maintain that their beers are still amongst the very best in town, so in short, it's honestly probably a slightly better value now than it was in 2019 when it's all said and done. Now onto the food. You're going to find bar-fare here and they do it really well. We had cheese curds and I had a sandwich and "fancy fries" all were delicious. Next time I'm going to do their appetizer platter and just enjoy all the bar food deliciousness. What put this into 5 star territory for me though was our server - she was so nice and welcoming - it was honestly just one of the best casual dining experiences I've had in a long time.

At first, I was having a difficult time hearing the music, so when a spot closer to the stage opened up, I moved. I later ordered a beer flight, and the bartender was great describing the different beers and checking in with me as I tasted each one. I enjoyed the musician despite the large crowd and the challenge of hearing him over the many conversations. Eventually, the crowd thinned out, and I was able to better enjoy the music. Overall, it's a nice brewery.
