It is hard to be a remote caregiver. Veterans Serving Seniors just made a very difficult task…read moreeasy. My elderly uncle lives in Florida most of the year but like many snow birds, he returns north in the summer. This year, he finally agreed to give up driving much to my relief. However, the logistics of getting him packed to TSA standards, making sure his home was secured, handing off his car to a transportation company and getting him safely on his flight was daunting. Veterans Serving Seniors came to my rescue. They were immediately responded to my first email and kept in both touch prior and during his trip north. Phil and a colleague arrived promptly at my uncle's home in St. Petersburg the morning of his trip. They made sure it was locked, closed storm shutters and even reviewed my detailed list of "must pack" items with him prior to setting out. They drove him and his car to the transportation depot and took pictures of the car prior to shipping for insurance purposes. Once the transport paperwork was signed, they took him on to the airport and personally walked him in and waited with him until a Jet Blue representative took him off for his flight. I had no concerns at all as I got text messages at every stage like a perfectly coordinated military maneuver. You can't get this kind of service from a taxi or limo service. The price was very reasonable too. I will absolutely utilize the services of Veterans Serving Seniors for his return trip and for additional needs once he is back in Florida.

I highly recommend this Physical Therapy Now clinic! From the moment I first called, the…read morereceptionist Lillian was so kind and welcoming, she clearly explained how everything works, which immediately put me at ease. My daughter had a soccer injury involving her knee and ankle, and we were fortunate to have Ross and Celeste as her physical therapists. They were both amazing....patient, attentive, and thorough. They took the time to listen to our concerns, explained every step to my daughter, and worked with us to create a plan that got her back on track. They also provided clear, helpful instructions for exercises to do at home. We were extremely happy with the care she received, and if we ever need physical therapy again, there's no question....we'll be coming right back here! Thank you so much Physical Therapy Now!

My experience at this physical therapy center has been deeply disappointing, and I feel compelled to share it so others can make an informed decision. The level of unprofessionalism from several therapists is unlike anything I've encountered in a healthcare setting. Therapists openly talk about patients--either while the patients are present or immediately a after they leave--especially when someone isn't making the progress they expect. Instead of considering the patient's circumstances, limitations, or humanity, they place blame entirely on the patient. I heard comments such as, "It can't possibly be the therapist's fault," and even a therapist bragging about having a "come-to-Jesus conversation" with a patient on their very first visit simply because the patient wasn't doing exercises at home exactly as prescribed. There is zero consideration for the person as a whole. Their egos seem to overshadow any sense of compassion or professionalism. They constantly switch your appointments, so you never know who you'll be seeing. There is no continuity of care. Most of the time, they spend little to no time actually working with you--they put you on a machine or an exercise and walk away, leaving you to figure things out on your own. Despite this, they still ask patients to complete evaluations of the facility. But if you say anything less than glowing, they refuse to consider that the issue might be on their end. It makes you wonder why they ask for feedback at all. My honest recommendation: go anywhere else. Do therapy at home. Choose the worst-rated clinic you can find--it would still be better than this. Not only is the care ineffective, but they can actually cause more pain. Their lack of empathy, accountability, and professionalism is alarming. Even if they offered therapy for free, I would advise you to walk--run if you can--in the opposite direction!
