I didn't bother calling The Econsortium Group until yesterday to learn why they cancelled our April 13 exams. But I'm still waiting on a call back after having to leave my name and number with whoever took my call.

If you're coming here, chances are that it's to take a computerized exam. There are about 16 or so stations, I think, and you can have your pick of computer. You're also required to leave your cell phone, wallet, and now -- in anticipation of the coming wave of wearable computing -- watch in the lockers, before entering the lab. I've come here twice for 10:00 am appointments, and was the first person to arrive. Both times, the proctor arrived a little after 9:30 am, but promptly took my information and seated me at a computer. I was out around 10:30 both times. Not bad at all for what would have been a 90 minute exam. This center also does administer verbal exams, so if you're thinking of showing up here, then I would greatly advise scheduling an early morning appointment on Saturday, in order to have the testing center to yourself. Other than that, this place is run professionally and gets the job done (which is a welcome relief compared to other testing centers I've tried), and there are plenty of places to eat in the area once you're done.

They kept our camper from January through April, only to test the ACs on a day when it was 34 degrees outside. Unsurprisingly, they called to say, "Everything's working fine." Spoiler: they absolutely were not. We've owned other campers and know what a functioning AC feels like. With three units on board, it was painfully obvious nothing was working. Frustrated, we picked it up and took it to Channelview Supply. Within two weeks, they diagnosed the issue correctly (all three AC units were bad), submitted the warranty claim, and replaced them with new, upgraded units. Fun Town RV wasted three months of our time and did nothing to actually solve the problem. Channelview Supply did in two weeks what Fun Town couldn't do in three months. Save yourself the trouble and go to Channelview Supply for your RV service. I strongly recommend them if you want honest, competent service.

I finally was able to speak with Alice to let her know I have decided to take my trailer out and go to another facility. She told me she an estimate (all of a sudden). Must be magic. I told her I didn't want the quote and there service. If it takes numerous phone calls and 34 days to get an estimate. I cannot imagine how long it'll take for my trailer to be fixed. Rather than complicate things in the future. It is best to shake hands and part ways. Next thing I know. I get a call from the owner Becca telling me I cannot have my trailer because I owe $175.00 for an estimate. I asked her what estimate? I never received it. She blew up and told me no money no trailer. This is when things went downhill. I go pay for the estimate I didn't receive. Another gentlemen claims he is also the owner and Becca come out. Your trailer has a bad tire. We don't want to fix it. I asked nicely this is not fair. I have no way to replace it. It wasn't damaged when I brought it. You can see the picture. This tire hit something while in there possession. It is my problem now. This is when I get on the phone with Harris county because they won't give me my trailer damaged tire or not. They thought I was bluffing until I waited. Next thing I know after waiting over 30 minutes. I see the male owner pulling my trailer and dropping it with a bad tire. The most decent thing would've been for them to at least change the tire with my spare. Fortunately bad people don't intimidate me. I hired a repair company. Harris county was trying to make this a criminal case. Instead I accepted just a civil report and left. Folks great place to go in and get a part that is on the shelf. When it comes to service beware they never accept responsibility. The Customer is always wrong and management is full of excuses.. You will see when they respond. They got me the sign I wanted without and provided full service installation. They got the sign permit for me as painlessly as possible. When issues came up during the install, the installer, Jassen, was quick to react and David, the install foreman, was out the next day to discuss how we could fix the issue without having to build a new sign. Every issue we had there was plan on how to fix within a day and a fix within two days. I barely had to lift a finger for anything. A project that took two years with other companies, only took me four months with this company. Every person I worked with during the project was professional and responsive.
