I have been going here for years...it is owned by an extremely nice gentleman and his family. The water is only $.35 cents a gallon and has been that price for years. I fill up 24 gallons (three 5 gallon jugs plus three 3-gallon jugs) of drinking water for less than $10 and it lasts me 3-4 weeks. I used to live on that side of town but now that I don't, I still drive 20 minues one way to get water there, cause there's no place around that can compete in price/taste/customer service. There hasn't been a time I went there where the employee didn't help me clean my water bottle, fill it, or put lids on my bottles OR come out to retrieve the water cart that customers transport their bottles on. It has been a pleasure going to this place and I only hope they're around for many more years. I don't go out of my way to rave about a place, but if you go to one of these water exchange "booths" or kiosks like at Wal Mart or Schnucks, you pay about $6-$7 for ONE 5 gallon container. It's insane that anyone would pay this much money when a place like CK Crystal Water exists, this business and owner are a local diamond in the rough, keeping prices low for "joe consumer". Mike who delivered the water softener was by himself and used a motorized dolly. I was told these units can weigh up to 500 lbs. Later in the day I noticed some wood pieces on one of the steps. As I looked at all of the steps I noticed the damage he had done to my stairs. Each step had two sets of black tire marks on them, they had large splinters sticking out, wood pieces on the steps and damaged wood on the facial of the steps. Mike never mentioned this damage. I called their office and spoke with Roger (owner). He came out two days later and as he looked at my stairs it was almost a relief for him that they were not finished. They are pure pine with no stain. Did that lesson the scale of the damage for him? He said to me, 'What would you like me to do, I have a busy day today?' Wow, very professional! He offered to sand them which he did but as we both realized it didn't improve anything. I asked him if I can return the water softener and get a refund. He said he doesn't do that but will do it for me. He then began to school me how heavy the water softener is. He then measured and counted the steps for possibly replacing them. I did not hear from him for two weeks so I called him and asked him what he was going to do with my steps. He said his guy never did any damage to my steps and that someone damaged them with a hammer. WHAT!? He never saw what my steps looked like before the water softener was delivered and he is assuming the damage was there before his guy delivered the water softener. He said he can get his insurance involved but it would get 'ugly' for me. Was that a threat? I ended up hanging up on his. I couldn't hear any more of his lies. I had my neighbor's husband who is an engineer look at the steps and he said the damage is 'fresh.' He said the guy tried to sand over the damage so he could hide their mistakes. 1. He said he would take back the water softener but had no intention of doing so. 2. He never saw my steps before the damage and asserted the damage was there before and a hammer damaged them. 3. Why did he measure and count the steps to replace them when he denied his guy did any damage. This house is a builder's home. I am the only owner and have lived here by myself for 14+ years. Does he really think this damage was not from his reckless guy? I will never use them again. I highly don't recommend them. The owner is unprofessional, condescending, very rude and a bully. And they will NOT take responsibility for the damage. They know what they did but lie to cover up their damage.

I also love that their kinetico system has optional filters that you can add if you want to change things up (for example, we add minerals to our water after it's been purified). Not necessary to do, but we've found it to be super handy to be able to adapt it to our unique needs. A couple years ago their technicians helped us move our entire system from one house to another and it was great to know a pro was in charge of tear down and setup. In our experience, if anything happens, their technicians have good availability to come quickly to fix whatever they need to. Would recommend LTM!
