Signed up for a free estimate after someone came to canvas our area. Was told this would take an…read morehour. 2 hours and 40 minutes later this man was still in our house. Kept saying it would only be a few more minutes for over an hour and a half. It was so disturbing. They promised a 30 day guarantee on prices quoted which is a lie. If you don't buy on the spot there is no guarantee. What kind of company gives an estimate and then leaves you absolutely no proof of the estimates. He took every paper he brought with him and left us no trace of the prices quoted. After wasting almost three hours of our time. I would never consider them for work after a meeting like that. They try to wear you down by talking for hours so you just give in. Quotes you an exorbitant amount for the windows and then keeps throwing lower and lower prices at you for an hour in the hopes you agree. Started off at nearly 2k per window and ended with about $900 per window. Then takes all the numbers quoted with him and says if we don't say yes now that number is gone forever... Told him our wedding was in two weeks and couldn't afford to say yes today. Nearly shamed us like we were making a dire mistake. So predatory and unprofessional.

I was asked if there would be a significant other attending sales pitch meeting and I politely indicated I'm a single mom and will make the final decision myself. Yet, I understood the reason behind the inquiry and had no problems with it. The sales guy was straight to the point didn't really try to sell me the product just provided information regarding the product and answered questions I had accordingly. Which I was grateful for! He let me know that there would be about an 8-week fabrication Lead time which I was fine with. The windows did end up ready for installation within that time frame. Empire graciously set the installation date according to my schedule. And I can't rave enough about the three person team who came out and completed the install. Dave and his crew were on time, addressed my concern about placing down floor protection- which they had already anticipated. They were knowledgeable with the product and how to install the windows and the back patio door. Hard consistent workers, there was no downtime during the install. the framework after the bay window was removed was done very professionally and looks amazing. They answered my questions professionally and didn't make me feel stupid for asking very simple questions at times. I cant say enough about this crew, I hope they see this review and see how appreciative this single mom is. They cut no corners and provided exceptional install service that gives this mom a peace of mind! Plus they graciously accepted to take a photo in front of my new front windows!!
