I like this Homegoods even though it is smaller than Tukwila. It is usually decently clean and organized. It's also quieter as I rarely see it overwhelmingly busy. What this location does well compared to other HG: it has an excellent dishes section, it often has a wide variety of glass holiday decorations, and the line to checkout is usually pretty quick. What it could do better: the store sometimes feels a bit cramped because it's smaller than other stores. The clothing section is small and doesn't offer a lot of variety in Large or XL sizes. read more

Good selection and prices are a bit lower than other retailers. I have purchased bedding, kitchen appliances and utensils, wall art, mirrors, small waste cans, draperies, rugs, side tables, Garden decorations... I visit often. Never fails - terrible customer service. Both the people on the sales floor and especially the front desk are very rude.

I love home goods and typically enjoy this location fine. But today what I was watching was hard to understand. The check out line was way out of the check out line. Women bouncing fussy babies... elderly waiting to purchase... little kids growing tired like they were waiting for an attraction at Disneyland. Meanwhile- the dude worker and 2 other employees are having a conversation about creatine. Talking about how she does yoga and the dude telling her you have creatine in your body already. It was a loud playful conversation as they helped nooooooo customers. I shared lots of glances with people in line and it was just sort of unbelievable. I think the guy is even maybe a manager. Maybe they were on break. But if that's the case maybe not stand around 3 employees in the check out area? While you only have 3 check stands open. It just is wrong. He could have even said we will be right with you guys thanks for waiting... or explain they were on break or couldn't be on registers whatever it was. It looked bad. I am losing faith in the world. I worked retail before. I worked customer service. I have my own business now It was just all bad read more

Home goods is connected to Marshall's. I was wandering around not really needing anything but I naturally gravitated to the packaged food area and it did not disappoint. There was black and white truffle spread! I absolutely 100% love truffles. But I'm also super cheap so I rarely buy them. But you better believe I bought one of each. Come and look around for things you don't need and im sure you'll find something you like. The aisles can feel a little crowded with all the furniture and displays but that's the same for all other stores like this. I wish there was more walking room in between but I come during the day and it's normally not busy so it works out fine. The staff have been helpful and check out moves pretty quick. read more

I really really enjoy coming to this Home Goods! As others have mentioned, it's connected to a Marshalls and I love being able to sweep through both stores at once and do checkout in one place. They have a pretty good selection of all kinds of things, but I especially love poking around the kitchen/food section for high quality dishware, cookware, and snacks. They usually have a really nice selection of pastas and chocolates too! Remember to bring your reusable bags when you come though, because King county charges for plastic bags now. And if you're like me, you're leaving with at least 3 bags with of impulse shopping, so you might as well save some money on the carriers. read more

Went in on Friday last week with a friend. It was crowded and I noticed how close the aisles are spaced together. Also at 1pm they were restocking shelves which also contributed to congestion. We wandered around for awhile finding a few things to buy. But as we moved from the Home Goods side of the store to the Marshalls side of the store we saw the checkout line. It easily had 20 people in it. We abandoned our cart with our chosen items in it and left. I don't know if staff called in sick or if they just didn't have enough staff scheduled but I'm hesitant to go back if staffing isn't improved and they don't space out the aisles better. read more

This store is ok. It is new so it smells good haha! Has lots and lots of knick knacks for the house. Has an aisle or two of all sorts of weird goodies to munch on that you don't normally find it at your local grocery store. What's cool is that this store is connected to Marshalls. So you can venture from one store to another. Staff are nice and helpful, so that makes your shopping experience that much easier. read more

I've found unique, beautiful pieces here...at moderate prices. My new favorite example is a cute baskets to reorganize and hide things. Many days the checkout is woefully understaffed and line super long. I take off 1.5 stars for that. It's early November....and this week, it was like a Christmas bomb was detonated in the middle of the store, pushing and pressing everything non-Christmas-y to the edges. I needed storage solutions, and the inventory was lower than usual, so that was disappointing. read more

What a splendid service at this location! On Monday, March 28, 2021, between 1:45 pm and 2:15 pm at the checkout stand, my wife and I were handed a receipt at the checkout stand by one of your employees. As we were given our receipt, we turned to walk off from the counter; the employee took the sanitizer spray bottle and sprayed it at the counter while I turned to walk off the counter; I felt the spray liquid onto my left arm. The employee spoke in her native tongue. She said, "Hasta luego..." while letting out a small crack of laughter as she continued spraying the counter. I turned to look at her and said to myself, "That's so wrong and full of hate." To me, this is what the individual was saying, "goodbye, you covid 19 carriers, or See you later covid 19 or see you later you dirty people." I find that offensive and hate toward my wife and me directly, if not all Asian communities. This type of attitude has to stop. Her insult is unacceptable to anyone. If she was to express her anger at the germs at the counter, that doesn't make any sense but a direct insult. We're in a difficult time, and violence against Asians is happening every day as we speak. Note: Before our turn to the counter, I don't remember if the employee ever sprayed the counter after the previous customer left the counter. Note: My wife and I spoke English at the counter and never once spoken the Spanish language to the employee. You could take a look at the security footage if you don't believe me. Your footage might not have the audio, but you could see the transaction's action happened at the counter. When this incident occurred, this employee was training her new co-worker at the checkout stand as well. Not sure if this individual is exciting to leave her job and not care about anyone. My wife and I have no intention to get this employee fire but like for the employee to show respect to all customers and possibly speak English to all her customers, unless she helped someone speak the same language as her, to avoid mistaken dialogue. In this case, she was directly insulting my wife and me. I am sure she wasn't talking directly to the covid-19 germ dancing at the counter. Never again shopping at this location. Your employee TRASHED US. read more

Very disappointed in my experience today here. I bought a candle that wouldn't stay lit, so I wanted to exchange my $12.99 candle for one that worked. They wouldn't take it back because it was against their policy, and they wouldn't be able to resell it. I asked the incompetent employee why they would resell a candle that doesn't work. I wasn't even asking for a refund and was going to buy more candles. My friend even asked if they could give me a discount or credit towards more candles since they sold me a defective candle. They said no. I kindly left all of my stuff on the counter, and I will never support Home Goods again. They lost this dedicated customer over a defective $12.99 candle that they sold. read more

The location is awful I wish they would of put it in a more central location. Like Kent East Hill or Auburn by the mall. It's not even on the main road it's on a side road. And you can't see it lol. When I went there I was looking for a comforter but the prices where high. I ended up going to Ross for a better selection and better prices. Luckily they have remodeled the Burlington store in The Outlet Collection and the prices are much better . read more

I used to love coming to this store. Ever since they opened, I have been coming at least 2 times a week and every time I leave with beautiful things for my home. I've gotten everything from cake stands to decor for my daughter's room. After today's experience I will never return to this location. So I found a rug and there was a huge pink tag that said $129.99 attached to it and there was a small sticker on the back that said $149.99, when I got to the register, it rang up $149.99 and I said the other tag on it said $129.99. The employee who took the rug off from display and taped it up knew exactly what I was talking about but acted like she didn't and she turns to another sales associate to ask about the tag and he goes "oh I took that tag off and threw it away, I don't remember what the price was." So here they are holding this other price tag.. and saying well this is the tag, the UPC matches.... funny that a sales associate would all of a sudden take a price tag off and throw it away.. And the supervisor was like I don't know where that price came from but this rug is $149.99. She doesn't bother to inquire about anything else and doesn't honor the lower price the rug was tagged for. The employees didn't even take accountability for anything, whether it's saying that they put the wrong price tag on or acknowledge that the rug was tagged at 129.99. They just simply acted like I wouldn't notice that they tore the tags off all within a span of 15 minutes. Such an unfortunate experience. They really need to do something about their customer service skills, a place with decent customer service would have honored the lower price. I used to love this store but I will go back to shopping at the Federal Way location from now on. read more

Just had the WORST customer service experience! The coordinator Sam was completely unprofessional on several accounts. First she loudly expresses the disfunction of the store to another employee. Secondly when we couldn't find the key to the car she gave us the 3rd degree about the key and took her sweet time finding it in a locked drawer she put it in. Lastly she had a the worst attitude of any person attempting to reach management. I would have expected more from Marshalls!!! Terrible experience. read more
