My sister and I went here after our lunch and looked at all the new Christmas decorations, of course! We had way too much already, but one can always find another Christmas decoration that they "need" right? Lol! I am a fan of Home Goods, in general. It isn't a place where you come looking for something super specific in mind, it is where you go to find treasure. This location isn't as big as the one in Glade Parks, but it is clean and organized well. I love coming here for kitchen needs. They always have a good selection and you find something new every time. They also sell home decor, furniture, as well as storage containers and pet supplies. They are not known for having a lot of registers open when you are checking out, but they do have a system to let you know what register has come available, while you wait in line. read more

You know how someone attempts to be condescending and nasty when when you ask them a question, but do it in a way that maintains a "polite" tone? A very contemptible encounter over such a small request asking about the refund today indeed. Oh the short blk female with braids, passion twists or whatever they were. If the Las Colinas location I typically frequent were not closed due to them loosing power, I would have gladly made the return there. This has left such a bad taste, I definitely will no longer shop at any T.J. Maxx...Amazon had better customer service with returns done with AI, minus the unfavorable behavior...btw the lines are unreal. read more

This is the kind of store you go to when you have time to search through the plethora of goodies for the home. It is like a treasure hunt of sorts!! I don't know about you, but I am without a doubt a WAIT TIL THE LAST MINUTE shopper when it comes to the holidays. I want to be one of those people who shop for Christmas in July but you know what...that will never be me. So I've embraced this fact about myself. Anyways, you will find some awesome fun signs for the home, lots of welcome/doormats that are unique and seasonal, and great last minute gifts. Even gourmet chocolates and such! This was one of the more fully stocked Home Goods stores that I've been to. And even on the weekends the crazy line that usually wraps around the store to check out was moving swiftly and pretty organized. I was pleased with the staff and also felt like they were pretty helpful. A lady helped me find the perfect "Happy Holidays" mat. I wasn't pleased with what I saw on Amazon so I was glad that I went to this store to make this purchase. The wreath truly was the icing on the cake and really is so beautiful and stands out on my door. I'll definitely venture back to this location in the future for my holiday or other décor needs. read more

We came here yesterday to look around and browse some. Casual browsing. Nothing serious. Well, Home Goods had other plans for us. Their selection of furniture and furniture accessories blew us away. We ended up buying two big chairs, two barstools, curtains, wall art, towels and a curtain rod all for about $800. The furniture is high quality and one of the chairs was the envy of more than a few people in the store. The staff there was super friendly and helpful in getting the furniture set aside. Some we took and some we had to come back for. Raffy at the register very professionally took care to ensure that all our purchase paperwork was set up correctly. This is our new go-to for home furnishings. Yes we may have to go to the monstrosity that is Nebraska Furniture Mart for some items, but for customer service, quality, and selection - this place is hard to beat. read more

Bf and I love Homegoods for household stuff, we both had spent well over $5000 furnishing the new home this year, and he really like this floral green club chair that is $299. We stopped a new worker about finding us the second pair. He came back 5 minutes later and advised us to go to the front and get the other store numbers; basically call around ourselves! Turned out he is clueless since he has only been there one week but don't you think management would have trained them better? Get a manager to talk to us so we can buy the chairs. They lost $600 sale today because no one wanted to make the time to find us the second chair. Store is clean and bright but quite cluttery in some areas. Yes, you snooze you lose kind of deal here. We are also disappointed that this venue does not carry skincare or beauty products. I LOVE THIS STORE!! On a teacher's salary, I really shouldn't shop as much as I do. Walking into Home Goods makes me feel a little bit fancy. On this trip I bought vanilla baking emulsion, organic pear scented dish soap, these two EXTREMELY amazing industrial looking galvanized drawer sets, and the perfect vintage looking TV stand. The drawers are to store my makeup(not about to admit how much I own). I have some storage units (um..bought at a different Home Goods), but I needed more storage. These galvanized drawers are gorgeous. They look like they were made by some art school student who moonlights as a welder. Both trendy and useful, I'll have them forever. (posted a pic) I've been looking for a television stand for months. I like really unique pieces of furniture. My coffee table is a huge metal and wood drum on casters(bought it for $40 at a thrift store 20 years ago!!). Because of the sheer size of my other pieces, I need something compact, but I'm not willing to compromise on style. I had pretty much decided on a cute yellow piece from Target...until I came across this gem. It's got lots of drawers...it's wooden and painted in Three's Company colors...and the size is perfect. If i could give NO STARS i would. This store is SO PUSHY with the credit card sign up. My friend went in to purchase some things. And this indian woman was at the register checking her out. She kept asking my friend to sign up. And that it wouldnt hurt her score. She pressured her instead of listening to NO. Its like they dont understand NO MEANS NO. She tries to sign up to shut that lady up, and her app is pending. Lady turns to the manager and the manager looked my friend up and down and said, Im not surprised her app is pending. (she wont be approved). And embarrassed my friend in front of a lot of people. Because she wasnt dressed or looked up to par like that bitch wanted her to. I called and spoke to a Gloria "manager" and she acted very clueless. She laughed actually. Also they didnt want to put the lady on the phone who did that to my friend. This place is horrible and racist. This isnt the first time they have been talked about. Get rid of these people they are miserable and work minimum wage! My friend goes to school, works, is a mom, and makes more than these mfs that work there and she did that? Probably NONE of them heifers have a card for HOMEGOODS. So???? Love this location. Great selection of household items at an affordable price. I shopped here numerous times since they have opened and I manage to walk out with $100 worth of stuff almost every trip. Great gift items. The only thing that would make this better is to have a Ross Dress for Less Next door. Usually they put both stores together and you can easily shop both stores and check out once. Speaking of checking out that is one of the best organized Retail POS systems I have experience to date. read more

This was the first time I had visited this Home Goods store in Southlake. The first thing you will notice when you walk in is how clean it is. And uncluttered. The store is large and easy to navigate. Like most Home Goods and TJ Maxx, the shopping trips are either a hit-or-miss type of event. Either I hit the mother load and find killer bargains and unique items, or absolutely nada. This was a nada day for me. Whomp-whomp. At least I now know that it is located here and I can gamble for a better shopping adventure the next time! Oh, and for anyone who hasn't visited this HG, it is not side by side to the TJ Maxx in town, like how they usually are. This HG is located down the road--just FYI! Happy shopping! read more

Oh, you need a cute vintage wire basket to house your blankets or laundry? Follow me. Feet feeling tired? Prop 'em up on my kitschy, shabby chic ottoman. Every time I leave Home Goods I'm short memory space on my phone. I literally take THAT many pictures of all of my wishlist items.Amazing decor, great prices, and I just can't have it all! *weeps* Okay, on a more serious note. This place is so affordable and has almost everything you can think of, from pictures and frames to storage bins to dishes, glasses, kids decor, pet items, and more. I recently visited to buy gifts for a friend's birthday. I walked out with a gorgeous pink and white watercolor picture that said "rise and sparkle", and a bubble gum scented candle for 20 bucks. Amazing! The selection changes with the seasons, so if you visit now you'll see a great selection towards the front of gold and holiday themed items. The bar items--MAN!!!!! All different kinds of glasses, flutes, and shakers, etc. I don't get to shop at Home Goods much because there isn't one in Grand Prairie, but this is going to become one of my go-to locations as it is in one of the areas I work in. One manager in particular, Tish, is an absolute drag and has no idea what genuine customer service is. Because of her I will NEVER shop here again, not just this store, but any Home Goods. I'm actually returning my purchase from today because I refuse to give this store my money. Not all Home Goods locations are created equal so this review is specifically in regards to the Southlake location. This location is often bringing in new items, you can go in each week and find a new treasure. The mark down area is in the back right of the store; however, I never find anything good there but it hasn't stopped me from checking it from time to time. I do wish the store was a bit more organized, it seems like some days a mini tornado has gone off inside the store. There is another Home Goods close to me but they do not stock as good of items, nor is the store as clean even though it is newer. read more

There was 2 registers with the light on, but for some reason only one cashier. The lady was slow and was overall being very sluggish in general. The cashier and the customers were chatting for a good 15 minutes after she paid and received the recite. I was the only one in line and I only had a few items. It irritated me a remarkable amount to the point where I just left and put all the things back where they go. read more

This store is the WORST! I made a return without a receipt and was given a gift card, which is normally fine. When I tried to use the gift card it showed a zero balance. The Assistant Manager was able to determine that there should have been over $50.00 on the card. It took two clerks and two Assistant Managers 35 minutes to figure out what to do. I asked that the remaining $35.00 be put on my credit card or paid in cash so I didn't have to go through this again. They refused. Not only were both Assistant Managers inept, they also lacked customer service skills. No one in the store had any authority to do anything, apparently. This was the WORST customer service experience I have had in a long time! Whatever you do - DON'T buy a gift card at Home Goods. Your recipient might try to use it and be told they have a zero balance. read more

I love Home Goods, and I can usually spend a good 2 hours in one...but I can not stand being at this location for more than 20 minutes. Everytime I come here the store is a mess. They place way too much product on the sales floor, you have to shuffle and move a lot of delicate items around to grab something. There were plants in the pet section, dog stuff in the kitchen, food items located all over the place. I understand that this is mainly customers placing things where they don't belong, but surely they have someone staffed to organize. It's difficult to find what you're looking for. read more

Please distance your lines and reduce number of customers in your store. Impossible to stay distanced with that amount of people inside.

Homegoods has made a conscious decision to provide poor service with consistently the longest lines in retail I have seen in years. I have currently been waiting for 11 minutes in line and have only made it halfway to the registers.. With carts full and long lines at pretty much every location, it is obvious that they are sacrificing service to squeeze a few extra pennies to the bottom line. If your time is not valuable to you feel free to shop at Homegoods for all your Indian produced home decor items. As for me, im done. read more

The Southlake Home Goods has lots of interesting finds but loads of clearance and clutter throughout the store. I've been in about 3 times since December (it's now mid-February), and the lines have always been so long that if you did find something, you'd be tempted to put it back. Playing dodge 'em with other customers is fun too, making it a relief when you finally get out (1:30 on a weekday afternoon, so we're not talking peak times). If you're claustrophobic, come early. read more

This store has some cute things, but you have to be fast. It doesn't have more than two of anything usually which is frustrating. No matter what time I go, the line is always super long and only has two checkers. I have left several times because it wasn't worth the wait or I didn't have the time to wait. read more

I've gone to most of the homegoods(Hulen, Mansfield, Keller) and by far this has been the the only store that didn't have much(or maybe it was one of those days when theirs not much). Everything was shoved together, I was out within 10 minutes. Keep in mind my husband and I love shopping at homegoods we spend a good amount of money in this store. It's gotten so bad we at least go to homegoods 2-3 a week. Also down side about this store, I don't know if it's the location. But the staff was only friendly to most white well dressed women.
