I found my coveted deluxe gourmet cheeseburger here in which the BF graciously gifted to me. We love all the foodie finds we happen to stumble upon that we don't need but want. They also have the coolest and unique selection of everything for your holiday decor and just everyday decor. The prices are reasonable and the quality is great. A trip to homegoods is always a good way to spend an afternoon. I've been here plenty of times, and after purchasing my house, I've definitely become a regular. They have furniture, decor, faux plants, trinkets, office supplies, pet supplies, the works. I'm also a big fan of their candle selection. Some smell really great, while others not so much. However, there's definitely something for everyone! This trip in particular was for some fall decor. I found some cute pumpkins to put up on my mantle which was the ultimate goal. I do wish they kept their fall items out a bit longer rather than putting their Christmas items out before Halloween, but I am definitely looking forward to doing some shopping for Christmas decor when the time is right! read more

Who doesn't love Home Goods? This Kirkwood location is near a big Target and Walmart. It draws a big crowd and always has a nice selection. Today my mother and I were looking at the faux plants. This is seriously the place to be for all of your holiday needs! I did not even plan to purchase much when I went in today, but walked out with a ton of holiday gifts and decor! I love the food items they sell since they are so great for gift ideas and I also found some really cool bakeware and a new tablecloth for the holidays! This store was very clean Sunday when I was shopping. I want to compliment a cashier by the name of Lexi who was beyond nice and accommodating ! I had a big cart full of items and she packed all the breakable items in paper and helped me get it back into the cart so things could be taken to my car without breaking. My love - hate relationship with this store continues. I was struggling finding various decretive items for this holiday season. The pandemic has everyone getting into the spirit of things and most stores are sold out. Not Home Goods, they had me checking everything off my list and I didn't even have to check it twice. I even found things that I didn't even know I needed. This HG use to be practically in my backyard. Now that I have moved out of the city and state of Missouri, I miss my quick trips here to find little and big treasurers to make my house a home. Writing this after going here twice in the last 24hrs, and all three employees I interacted with were unfriendly. And the last cashier was sick! She was hacking out up a lung and made the comment that she had just been off for four days... so if me and my little ones are sick for Christmas, I'll know exactly where I got it. Always great spending time here. I purchased many products for my home before. But yesterday I realized I've never visited their food aisles! I've been looking for some good coffee from Germany, something called "real deal", and found Dallmayr brand, really good coffee. Also found some Italian coffee that can be brewed in any type of coffee machine, including French Press! I will definetly come back for more! read more

Manager Matt was incredibly inappropriate towards myself and my 6yr old daughter today. She pressed the help button. I let an employee know within 15 seconds of her pressing it. 5 or so minutes later He proceeded to find us in the store and scold us and state she pressed it again- I told him it was me trying to see if I could turn it off- he then told me about his corporate ratings for the wait time. I told him he doesn't need to be scolding all of this to a 6 yr old girl. He then states he's not scolding her he was scolding me. I approached him without my child to explain to him he was out of line. - he repeated himself and was incredibly rude. Should not be leading in anyway a public facing establishment. read more

This Home Goods is well-stocked with a variety of items for your home! I was quite impressed during my visit and ended up with a handcrafted ladder shelf for a great price. Additionally, we found a quarter cookie sheet by Nordicware, some sturdy silicone tongs, and a very nice 8x10 picture frame all for great prices. I have been to another Home Goods location but this one has way more items. I do appreciate a good variety and I have my eyes on a few other decorative pieces I would like to take home with me in the future. From office supplies to furnitures to bedroom needs, you can find just about anything here. Of course, it's probably more of a hit and miss but I did see they have several, reasonably-priced chairs and end-tables. Been on an endless search for the right dining chairs for our new (old) small house that were less than $200 each. Everything is too trendy, too lightweight for our real bodies, too cheaply made...or otherwise unsuitable. I usually do a run they HG when I'm nearby and these caught my eye just as I was heading to the checkout. Snapped a pic for my wife, and with her thumbs-up I bought all 4, took one home and now they all reside quite nicely. My wife "Biff" and I came here looking for a nice bearskin rug to make love upon. All we could find were cheap imitations of Oriental rugs and rugs with ladybugs and birdhouses on them...NOT sensual at all. I guess this place is good if you are a housewife with a hoarding problem. HomeGoods is a retail chain that specializes in inexpensive, but nice looking housewares. The quality can be touch and go, but compared to most discount housewares stores, I feel the quality for the price is better than most. They carry bedding, kitchen gadgets, some furniture, drapes, pillows and home decor for every room. They generally hang on to stock for 90 days before marking it down in price so they can make room for new things. If you don't buy it when you see it, it's not likely to be there next time you go and they don't sell their wares online. Good stuff! read more

So I went back to Homegoods over the weekend. But this time, I was prepared; I brought my grandma. Yes, you read that correctly. I recruited my grandma (who has totally awesome and not-grandma like tastes!) to help me decorate my house. Actually, she recruited herself. She visited my place, took one look around, and said 'You need help decorating, don't you?' Yes, grandma. I do. You know me so well. :) Anyway, we walked into Homegoods on a busy Sunday afternoon, and instead of taking two steps in, freaking out, and exiting, we stuck around for a while. A long while. And what do you know -- we found stuff! We found LOTS of stuff. I found a ton of great pictures to hang on the wall, a really cool coffeetable, a rug, and a few other pieces of art to make my house into a cozy, somewhat stylish living space. This place has the most AMAZING collection on home decor at a low price, plus TOP NOTCH customer service. Jasmine searched all over the store with me to find the other panel to a curtain set for about ten minutes. Unfortunately, we didn't find it. I was a little sad, but I continued to shop for the other things I needed. While at the register checking out - Jasmine shows up with the other panel we'd searched for 45 minutes ago. Although, I had given up; she hadn't. This shopping experience was the best ever all because of Jasmine and her unbelievably extraordinary customer service. Went to Kirkwood to visit Doc's Harley Shop and while the hubs was shopping for a tee to bring home he dropped me off across the street at the local Home Goods. All I can say is bravo! This store is twice the size of ours in Stockton. I'd have to say 3 times as much art, mirrors and furniture....wish I could relocate you to my neck of the woods HG! Couldn't load up on home goods cuz we were flying home that day so just walked around, took note and will try to visit the Sac store in CA to see if they compare! Good job St. Louis! read more

This is consistently the most difficult store to deal with when it comes to the staff processing returns. I'm done shopping here. I gave up once before and stayed away for 3 years, but decided to give them a chance again. I paid with a debit, over 10 days ago, and when I returned a portion of the purchase within the 30day period, they refused to give cash back on an $8 purchase with the receipt present. It plainly states on the website that cash back can be given after the 10 day period to make sure the purchase has cleared. All I wanted was to put the $8 cash towards the purchase I was now making, as it makes it difficult if the purchase is split when and if the gift I purchased is in need of being returned. read more

It's fun stuff, it's always changing, and there's some great deals to be found. This store is BUSY, but also FULL; so be patient, explore, and have fun. The employees work hard and are happy to help if you need it, you just need to ask. They are always restocking, so you could go every day and find something different. i went back to this store because I realized that I really wanted what I left behind and apparently this is the only homegoods store I can find as per my fabulous GPS....so I went in and couldn't freakin believe it......the stuff I wanted was no longer available and I was just there the day before.......WTF.......I had a cute little basket picked out for my cat to put her toys in and they had several on the shelf the day before and some little figurines made in kenya of animals and they had two left that were damaged so that won't work...apparently this store does indeed get a ton of foot traffic.....SIGH....if anybody sees these items at another store TJ Maxx, Marshalls, please let me know.....uuggghhh read more

As another reviewer wrote this location does have a nice selection. I typically find something to buy there. Whether it's a gift, something for the garden, kitchen or kids room. I've gone there searching for a rug, mirror, side table and usually find a couple of colors represented (then I go over to TJ Maxx in the same plaza, owned by the same company). My three stars is because I am very sensitive to employee/manager conflict. The tension at this store could probably be measured with some type of instrument when the manager is around. I'm very much into shopping therapy but I just can't stress release here even with the all the great home goods. The store mgt team shows poor customer service and has a negative reputation for engaging corporate values. It lacks signage, glass is poorly organized, mgt is frequently absence, and HR is evidently hiring based on age and sex appeal NOT qualifications and making use of talent. This store is all about location! One can only imagine if management followed Federal law and actively managed the store professionally and in accordance with corporate values, the result would be amazing. This store is riding the bubble, practicing age and sexual discrimination and it will catch up with them. It needs detailing, signage, creative displays and educated professional mgrs, HR and clerks. They are traded and must follow SEC guidelines within federal guidelines. The result would be greatly increased sales. BSBA Wash Finance/Longtime Kirkwood citizen.
