    Brand New Location!!!

Home Goods is my happy place. This is one of the first places I go when looking for items for the house. Home Goods also has items that make great gifts. Home Goods is new to Town and Country Crossing and I could not be happier. I am so excited to have a Home Goods closer to my home and stomping grounds. This Home Goods is next door to Target so it will be getting a lot of foot traffic. There are isles and isles of Home Decor pieces. Shabby Chic, Industrial, Urban Glam, Coastal, Contemporary, Modern, Traditional, Farmhouse...whatever your style, Home Goods has something for you. Decorating a room for a little one, Home Goods has kids room decor too. Looking for an area rug, check the wall for expensive rugs at lower cost. Bedding, Pet Accessories, Kitchen, Bath. Wall Art, Clocks all can be found at Home Goods. Need some new lighting? Find on trend lamps at attainable prices. Home Goods receives weekly shipments and stock turns over quickly.

They suggested cutting off the damaged edges and then rebinding them. I ended up taking all my rugs here, a couple were antique and all were from when we lived in the Middle East. Most were rolled up and stored, some were hanging up. The newly repaired and bound rug looked fabulous! Although it was smaller, and the beautiful border was now gone, it was still very attractive and the bound edge looked professionally done. I got all of them moth-proofed and asked to purchase rug padding for the ones that I was going to put back down on the floor. I also asked for all of the rugs to be appraised as there's a certified appraiser on site. It took longer than I anticipated for everything to get done and in the end, the rug padding never happened and the appraisals were disappointing. Most all of the rugs were purchased 30 years ago, and we were told their provence then, but the appraiser said the rugs were fairly modern. Oh, well. The cleaning service was affordable so we will return here to get our rugs cleaned.

It was nice and well-stocked inside, focus is mostly on baby/toddler with a small section with teen items. Very cute selection of toddler and baby bedding (not soft), cribs, strollers, bunk beds, and others odds and ends. Staff weren't that helpful - I walked past several and no one said hello to myself or my husband while we walked around with our baby girl and browsed. I was really there to look at styles I had been admiring online for the bunk beds and some decor for her room when she transitions from crib to toddler room so, it wasn't a huge deal, just off-putting.

I wanted to spoil the new little boy addition to our family. I made two complete circles walking through the entire store and actually embarrassed for the staff. I have never seen a store so disorganized, cluttered and dirty. I know it was during the holiday season and they were most likely under staffed, but there is no excuse acceptable for how bad this store looked. I've refrained myself from posting pictures. Not one sales associate acknowledged my presence in the store. Also, you could hear the frustration in the voice of one associate who was on the phone explaining to a customer why they didn't have an item in stock and most likely would not be getting it before the holiday. I felt sorry for that associate, because without hearing the other end of the conversation, you could tell in was a Karen. I spent 25 years of my professional career in retail and the majority of it was in high end retail. So my I will give this store another chance, but for now they'll be added to my No-No Collection until they improve.
