It could be updated to look a bit more modern. Once you get past the initial feel of the website, everything else is just amazing. I submitted a quote online and within hours I got a call from one of their reps, Christine. Christine is an absolute joy to work with. She's amazing at her job. Unlike other lenders and big banks, you don't get passed around from person to person. Christine was there throughout the entire process. We were bidding on home after home and the rates were changing by the hour and somehow she was able to get us pre-approval letters within a few hours! After one of many of our offers was accepted, Christine worked with me, my agent and the seller's agent to put together a plan to close in 17 days! This isn't normal, but One True Loan was willing to go above and beyond to help us get the house. I can't thank everyone at One True Loan enough for going out of their way and their normal business model just because one of their clients needed it. During the escrow process Christine introduced me to Joanne. You think there's no way there could be two awesome, experienced and pleasant people in the same company but you'd be wrong. Joanne was so great and so helpful. I would get daily, if not hourly updates. I know they are super busy but they make you feel like you're the most important client they have. I don't understand why anyone goes to other companies or banks for buying a home or for refining. They have the best rates, lowest closing costs and the best customer service I have ever seen. Our conversations started around mid-December of 2020 and the entire process concluded at the end of January 2021. I was very surprised and happy that the process only took about 6 weeks as I have friends whose mortgage refinance process took at least 4 months to complete. At the beginning of my refinance process, I was shopping around and had also requested a quote at Loan Depot (LD) for my refinance (since another friend of mine referred me to his friend that is a manager there), and I absolutely despised talking to the rep that they had assigned me there. The LD rep would lose his patience when I asked questions about things I didn't understand and became not helpful when he realized that I would not sign a contract or move forward with him the afternoon he first called. He was extremely pushy and wanted to get things started right away even though it was right before the holidays. I didn't think I would be able to finish the process before year's end, so his urgency just didn't sit well with me. The moment that solidified my decision to go with Ammy and Top Leading Financial over LD was how both parties responded to me when I informed them I was shopping around. While LD was very quick and able to provide me a quote right away on our first call and Ammy informed me she would send me a quote the next day, the LD rep became aggressive in his response towards me as to why Ammy was not able to provide me a quote right away when he was able to, as if I had the answer. Later that night, Ammy had not only sent me a quote, but had also pointed out some of the differences between hers and LD, and spoke with me the next day to go over more in detail about the differences in the quotes. She was very patient and didn't sound aggressive or pushy when explaining everything to me. I was initially planning to send her quote over to LD to see if they could offer me something better, but when she ended our call by letting me know that it's okay if I don't proceed with their services, but not to begin two different loan processes with different companies because it's going to be a giant mess for me, that was the moment I decided to drop LD and proceed with Ammy. Even now as I'm writing this review over a month after my last communication with LD rep, remembering my experience with him is infuriating me. I am extremely happy with my decision to go with Ammy and Top Leading Financial, as the rest of the process was a breeze. Ammy even helped me resolve a last-minute issue relatively late on a Saturday night prior to me signing the final documents needed to complete the process the next day. Ammy and Jerry kept constant communication throughout the process and answered any questions I had quickly and professionally. I went into her office in City of Industry, an office girl scanned my financial documents. There was one document the office girl wanted me to sign, called " authorization of credit card payment for query of credit report", I hesitated because I did not even have a chance to talk to Annabelle face to face yet. I was so stupid to sign that authorization under the impression that she should be professional enough not to charge my credit card unless we come to a conclusion which loan to apply for. Two weeks later, I locked in with another financial institution to refinance. I did not go on refi process with her. I was surprised to see the credit card charge of $38 from Super Rate on the same day I went into her office. I wanted to dispute the charge because she had not done any search of good rate, yet the "credit report" was requested. I called and told the office girl : " - - for $38 you can drive good customers away." She did not listen to me, tell me to talk to Annabelle, because it is their policy to check "credit report" first. I left message for Annabelle, of course she did not call me back. I had been searching for a loan that suitable for me, 10 lenders responded. None of them had charged me for "credit report". They know my FICO score right away from the free websites, like experian, equifax - -etc. I wanted to write this review to alert other people, don't trust this company. It is not ethical to charge other people's credit card before loan officer has done any initial search . If she is holding a valid license for loan officer in US, her renewal can be questioned. I agreed with the previous reviewer. Her customers are mostly quiet, not able to speak out loud if she is at fault. If you have time, search for other lenders, don't rush to lock in with Super Rate.
