We went for the u-pick blueberries and stayed to play with all their animals!!! Young family just starting out and make you feel like home as soon as you get out of the car! Candice and Brandon loved interacting with our little ones, 2 4 and 6 years old. Showing them the chickens, turtles and pig! They've got a couple beautiful dogs and even a deer on their property that roams around. The blueberries are organic, they don't use pesticides or anything and they were PLENTIFUL! They said they should have plenty of berries to pick thru next week so if you are visiting for the 4th of July or local, it's definitely worth the drive!!! We got a huge bucket for $25 and everything else is just them being a wonderful Christian family!

There is a sign for the Taylor Blueberry Farm upon entrance but if you feel like you made a mistake and are actually on someone's personal property - you are, but just keep going until you see the homemade wood signs to park. You'll cross a field and park next to a fenced pasture where beautiful horses, goats and a donkey will greet you. If you don't see the Taylor's right away just hang tight - they may be picking in the field. Ms. Taylor let us use her golf cart and directed us to the place in the field where we could find the ripest berries. We filled a bucket for only $13.60 and also bought delicious homemade blueberry slushees, syrup, and grape juice. We had to go, but Ms. Taylor told us to come back in the morning to feed/pet the goats, bunnies, horses, and other animals. My daughter can't wait! The Taylor's also host big events including a fall festival on October 30 that includes bouncy house, hay rides, etc.

Definitely a family friendly place, so go here if you've got kids, and you'd like an awesome customer experience. I love supporting family owned businesses too, so this is a no brainier to me. The blueberries were delicious too plus the location is very secluded, so there isn't highway traffic polluting the air around the crops.

Today I decided to stop in after my silver sneaker's class and found it almost right across the street from Coastal Fitness where the class is held, so it's very convenient. Bought 2 containers of strawberries and each container weighed just a little over a pound and was priced at $3. When I got home, we decided to have some for lunch. Some of the strawberries were huge and there is no need to use sugar, they were so sweet, delicious. I definitely recommend Carol Sue Farms to as a place to get your strawberries, I know for sure that I'll be stopping by after classes to get more.

They also told us the best way to fill up our buckets quickly! The cardboard trays for toting all your yummy berries home are a lifesaver and saves them from getting smushed. Super sweet and generous size today, so easy today. Parking is beside the field. The drive off hwy 402 is a mixed dirt/gravel situation. Not two full lanes, more of one generous lane. Take it slow and be mindful when it's wet out. So peaceful to pick your own food in the fresh air and sunshine ...

They have a wide variety of meats including beef, chicken, pork, goat, and bison. The bison comes from another local farm but the owner knows them and how the animals are raised and fed. There are several vendors selling other things such as soap and crafts on the property. Unfortunately, our first time here was in early February and I forgot to ask if they sell produce in spring. Either way, I'll definitely be back to pick up some meats in the near future. I'm especially excited about getting goat meat for some curry. The only thing we got today was chorizo which we'll be eating in the next few days. Definitely worth a visit.
