Last night, Stateline Movie Time held a Professional Wrestling Event and the wrestling was great! The drive in, is in the backyard of the owners residence, in the middle of nowhere. The only problem, the owner of the property. Please note that the following events were witnessed by a crowd of over 100 people including an off duty and out of jurisdiction police officer and security officer (Myself). I swear and affirm that I am certified to give these statements, under penalty of perjury, and should she decide to contact an attorney and take me to civil court, I will have said witnesses subpoenaed into court proceedings on my behalf. Let's start from the beginning. The event was billed as a family friendly event, and there were kids of all ages there at the event to see current and future stars of professional wrestling. 1. She (The Owner) Threatened to shut the whole event down at the beginning of the event over 3 people not paying for their ticket. Mostly, if you don't pay for your tickets, you actually ask them to pay or leave. Threatened to tow vehicles and call law enforcement on people who didn't leave immediately by threatening trespass. 3. Threatened animal cruelty by screaming if someone doesn't come and get "This stray" dog, she was going to shoot it. because it didn't belong to her on her property instead of calling a county animal control person to take the animal. She was also seen by NUMEROUS PEOPLE dragging her dog, Buckshot, and swearing at him. The stray dog was rescued by a family just for you, the readers information but, my heart goes out to her other dogs that she owns. 4. She verbally assaulted a 15 year old girl, calling her a wh _ _ _ and calling her mother and family drug addicts. She also called another girl, an African American, a Wh _ _ _ as well. There are other reports of her making racial remarks and calling the African American Wrestlers on the program, "N" words. 5. Threatened to fight anyone who crossed her, and even got in the face of numerous people threatening to fight them and there are reports and witnesses stating she hit someone with one of her own vehicles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHDcc_JSqSk (Video #2 of the incident) I already know that she will probably comment on my review and say that I am a liar, but there was over 100 people that are witnesses to last nights' events. She has commented on numerous reports to try and save her business or what is left of her business. If you book an event with her, please make sure you get everything in writing as well as make sure you have a lawyer and law enforcement on stand-by. Her actions last night, as well as any future events, may end up with someone killed, hurt, or locked into civil litigation with you and anyone that may come to your event. She will appear to be sweet and nice but then the slightest issue, and she is swearing and cursing everyone that is associated with your party. She was very nice to me when I first met her, but my opinion of her quickly changed when the above events happened, and all I can do really is pray that no one ever endures what many did last night. read more

Great place for a date night or to bring the whole family. The wife and I wanted to try something different. The owner has created a great welcoming atmosphere that has us wanting to come back and make this a regular date spot. There was a small fireworks show after the first movie had ended as well and it was a nice added touch for either a couple enjoying a date or additional entertainment for the kids. Glowsticks were also given out and made this feel like watching a movie with family and friends rather than complete strangers. Overall easily one of the best movie theater experiences I've had to date. Drinks and food are more than reasonably priced. The drinks that were offered are bottled Pepsi products. For food we had the pizza and popcorn both were equally delicious. Pizza was thin sliced but only a $1 per slice. The sound is delivered on 105.1 FM. So if you plan on tailgating and setting up chairs I would recommend a portable radio. We had opened the rear hatch and laid out the back to enjoy the summer air but you are able to sit in your car with the AC running if it does get too hot. This theater isn't just about the movies but the experience. For those on the fence on going, give this place a shot. We did and took us by surprise at how much we enjoyed ourselves and are already planning our next visit. read more

My girlfriend and I went to State Line Movie Time the other night -- what a blast! I grew up with drive-ins, and big theaters that would do double-bills, and the wonderful thing about these old venues is that they all had the character of their operator. Some were elegant, some were homey, but even though you may have been watching the same movie as millions of others across the nation, only you and the people there with you were having the experience of THAT theater. It felt personal. And it was. All of that was lost with the advent of multiplexes. Enter State Line Movie Time. Run by a personality bigger than the projection screen, Ms. Sherry Bee, this drive-in brings the charm, personal touch, family, and community feel of going to the movies roaring back! WHAT FUN. Sherry greets you at the gate, directs you to the optimal parking spot to fit your viewing preferences, sells you the refreshments, runs the raffles, and somehow manages to make you feel like a lifelong friend in under 60 seconds! Social distancing stinks, but watching a big screen movie in a car with your sweetie, your family, or your friends -- that's a blast from the past that everyone should try nowadays. This place is the best theater drive in I've been to since I was a kid. i got to experience the drive in theater when i was a little boy and thought that my son would never get to experience it, but because of these awsome people him and my wife got to have there first drive in movie experience and they had a ball you cant beat it. They did fire works had water balloons and a bouncy house for the kids for no extra cost. Speaking of cost you cant beat it $10 for adults and $5 for kids 5-12 you see two movies and you can bring your own snacks. Go to a theater indoors $11.95 per person adult or child and now there trying to say if you bring a bag they can ask to check it. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone thank y'all so much. read more

What's so sad is when we first got here i sat and talked with the owner and thought she was such a nice person. she seemed so personable then she lost it. We were here last night during a wrestling event. The owner screamed and threatened to shut it down before it even started we should have took this as a warning of what was to come. later in the night she started ranting and raving calling people names drug addicts wh...s, ect. i cannot repeat here or the review will not show. verbally attacking a 15 year old. she attacked a dog in front of several people threatened to shoot another dog. Nastiest woman ever put on this planet!! She ruined the wrestling event for everyone with her nasty mouth and actions. Went after the wrestlers and threatened to shut the whole venue down because people weren't buying raffle tickets from her. She threatened to shoot a dog on the property if no one took it home. Called patron a drug dealer and calling people all kinda of names. She even bumped into someone with her car! She needs to be shut down! Never have I met a more Lowlife piece of scum in my life. read more

This place is just what we need in our neck of the woods, literally. No frills, just exactly what you need. Up to date movie selection, fair prices, and a courteous staff. Do not let it fool you. What it may be lacking in signage, it makes up for in amenities. There are inflatables for children, plenty of room to park, and a great selection at the concession stand. If you want to catch a movie but don't want to deal with beach traffic and prices, come on down to state line and enjoy the show. read more

Will never return to this theatre again. The owner is disrespectful and cussed us out because we tried to park our truck next to an SUV! Overpriced dump in the middle of nowhere! The worker tried to apologize for her actions and she tried screaming "you're fired" from across the lot! The bathroom is a port-a-potty and the concession stand was a folding table in her backyard. Tonight was mine & my son's very first time ever being at a drive in & it was cool! It's so awesome it being close to home. I don't know the lady's name that runs this business but she is so friendly & being a Christian is just icing on the cake. There was nothing I didn't like. My family & I will definitely be back more often! I highly recommend this place. read more

It was nice tonight to sit in your car and watch a movie with great picture quality and sound was very good also. Lighting bugs, stars were out tonight, plus I could smoke. Concessions were very reasonable also. I loved it! read more
