I told Urban Natural about this and that the only solution i have found so far is to stuff a sheet into the gap where the sofa cushion is sagging as it meets the arm rest. 3. Service: fairly good response from Urban Natural but the moving team damaged two door frames when moving this sofa in and more than a month after alerting Urban Natural there is still no plan for compensation and repair.

We didn't want something generic from pottery barn/ikea/etc. but were also discouraged to find that any vintage-style dresser of any decent quality was outrageously expensive. Lo and behold, my wife stumbled upon a posting for Vintage Lane on our neighborhood blog and we decided to check it out. We were so thankful we did! Not only does Carrie and her partner, who own the store, have great pieces, they are remarkably affordable. We found the perfect-sized dresser for our toddler's room and Carrie painted it for us for an extremely reasonable price (she also had to spend a lot of time getting the stain just right on top, so it was no small job). The piece came out looking fantastic. If you like vintage-style furniture (e.g. annie sloan /distressed/Brooklyn flea mkt/etc.), this place is for you. You'll find beautiful dressers/sideboards/cupboards/mirrors/etc. that are far more affordable than comparable items you'll find in any other stores/fleas. Also, the folks who run the store are exceedingly friendly and willing to work with you to make sure you find exactly what you are looking for. We will definitely be coming back.

When we started searching for furniture for our new house a few years ago Derbyshire popped up on just about every list I checked and had plenty of great reviews. Now that we've made a few of our own purchases I totally understand the praise this small business gets. The shop is small but mighty and packed with so many good pieces. If your style leans traditional - they've got it. If your style leans more contemporary/modern - they've got it. Plus a few things in between that could go in either direction and work with just about any style or decor. Everything is solid wood and totally customizable. You can pick your stain or paint plus your hardware (should you order something with hardware, of course). The couple that owns the shop have always been very kind and very patient, answering all the questions... especially when I was coming in every other week for too many weeks to look at dressers before I finally made up my mind. Lead time was accurate, delivery days/times were accommodating and the guys that arrived to place our items were totally courteous. For our last order/delivery the guys didn't leave until they leveled our dressers perfectly. I didn't even have to ask.. they just did it and that's how a good delivery and install team should operate. Truly, I only have good things to say about Derbyshire. Next piece of wood furniture that we need I will definitely be stopping in Derbyshire first to check things out.

Buying furniture should be an exciting experience, but this place managed to turn it into a stressful and frustrating nightmare. From the moment we walked in, the staff acted like helping customers was a burden. The attitude was cold, dismissive, and at times outright rude. The furniture looks nice in the showroom, but once it's delivered you quickly realize the quality doesn't match the price at all. It feels cheaply made and nowhere near what you'd expect after paying so much. What upset me the most was how the store responded when I tried to address the problems. Instead of taking responsibility or even showing basic concern, they were dismissive and unhelpful. It honestly felt like once they had the money, they simply didn't care anymore. After numerous phone calls and the games they played, I finally spoke to manager Spiro who blamed a leather couch falling apart after 3 months on me. Please look at the shocking pictures below that were sent to them and they didn't care. I regret spending my money here. This experience was frustrating, exhausting, and completely avoidable if the store actually valued its customers. After taking a look the sales guy comes back and says they can do it for 1500. Wow what an awesome deal I thought... ill take it. So I pay and upon looking at the receipt a different model purple matress is listed I go back in to ask why a diffent model is listed. After some back and forth they claim the wrong label was on the matttess and they could never sell this mattees for that low. Kind of felt like a bait and switch show the fancy mattress and deliver a cheaper version. Maybe it was an honest mistake but I thougnt I was getting an amazing mattress at a great deal and instead left disappointed and annoyed. Wont be buying my mattress here thats for sure

I called to make sure I could return or exchange them and provided the sale date and invoice number. I was informed of a restocking fee if no longer in paper (they weren't) and that covers must be in good condition and never used (check & check). Fast forward to today and my attempt to exchange. Initially I was told I can't exchange them because the covers were "damaged." Then told I could exchange for half store credit (to cover costs of refinishing). When I gave the sizing I needed, I was told I would need custom covers for more than double the price (but still get that very generous half credit because, you know, they wanted to do me a favor). When I declined an exchange, it then became 25% store credit of the price because the covers "can't be resold." But they felt bad for me so would do me a favor of still allowing a return. What in the used car salesman is going on at this place? After multiple attempts to escalate to management, I had the displeasure of speaking with owner Mike Rubino, who was as sarcastic as he was unhelpful. While informing me that the radiator covers could now "only be scrap metal," he said the store employee was covering a 25% refund out of his own pockets. Look if you want to steal people's money, just say that. A restocking fee and even refinishing fee is understandable. Keeping people's money just because you feel you can is, well, clearly not.
