Mike came highly recommended to us by our realtor to perform the inspection on our new home. I will start by saying that highly recommended is an understatement! Mike was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable and professional. He literally touched every single aspect of the home, both inside and out, top to bottom and explained every little detail to my husband and I. We learned so much from him. Our new home has well water and propane, which is totally new to us and he gave us a ton of useful knowledge on operation and future maintenance. His final report is incredible. Not only did he provide his report to us within 24 hours, everything that he reviewed with us in person is put together in a neat and organized electronic report, with pictures and lengthy comments. We found this incredibly useful because now we have his comments as future reference about our home, in case we ever forget anything. His reporting also has the function for us to select which areas we want to present back to the sellers and the ability to add our own comments. He also kept us updated with external results (i.e. radon and water quality) and explained all the results to us as soon as they became available. I had a great experience with Mike at Home Tech Property Solutions. He was very easy to contact, and was able to schedule my home inspection within a week of my initial call (very important when you only get 10 days to have a home inspection from the date your offer is accepted on a home!) Mike's communication by phone and text prior to the inspection date relieved any anxiety I felt about the process. During the inspection, Mike patiently explained everything he was checking and testing in layman's terms, and I now have a pretty comprehensive understanding of the home I'll be purchasing in a few weeks. His prices are very reasonable, and I even added radon testing to my inspection, as I wanted to know as much as I could before moving into the home. I received the full inspection report on the morning after the inspection. It was incredibly detailed with many photos, descriptions and recommendations. Mike took the time to fully explain what he was doing, to offer suggestions (and even demonstrations) as to how and when to service items.
